本课时主要让学生通过听说活动熟练掌握银行基本服务项目及相关服务的指令语,为本单元之后的学习任务做好语言上的准备。
2. 教学重点、难点(1) 教学重点①学生能识别account, draw, check, exchange, deposit, insert, rate, sign等词。
②学生能熟练使用办理银行业务的指令或描述银行服务程序的句式。
(2) 教学难点学生在真实的语言情境中运用句型给出办理银行业务的指令或描述银行服务程序。
二、教学目标1. 知识目标(1) 识别account, draw, check, exchange, deposit, insert, rate, sign等词意思。
(2) 使用sign your name, fill in the form, insert, deposit money, show your passport,write your name on the back, draw money from an ATM等给出银行业务的指令或描述银行服务程序。
2. 能力目标(1) 学生能听懂客人要办理的银行业务名称和咨询内容。
(2) 学生能运用Asking for information和Offering the service等句式进行办理银行业务的指令或描述银行服务程序的对话。
3. 情感目标学生认同行业的服务质量的要求,为客人提供符合行业标准的服务。
三、教学步骤Step I Lead-in1. Look and match. (Activity 1)At the beginning of the class, the teacher asks: “Do you know what kind of services does a bank offer?” Ss work in pairs. They read the sentences and match them with the related pictures. Then the teacher checks the answers, meanwhile, the teacher helps students to get through some difficult words (account, draw, check, exchange).2. Listen and match. (Activity 2)Ss look through the expressions to get the main idea of the information. The teacher helps students to understand the new words (deposit, insert). Then the teacher plays the tape, at the same time students match the information. At last the teacher checks the answers.3. Act and practice. (Activity 3)The teacher makes a dialogue with one of the students, using the expressions of activity 2.Then students work in pairs to practice dialogues, following the example.Step II Listening and speaking1. Listen and number. (Activity 4)The teacher says “We have known that a bank can offer all kinds of se rvice when we need help. Now Zhang Ming is in a bank, let’s look at the pictures to get to know what he is doing in the bank. ”Then the teacher leads students to talk about what happened according to the pictures, and guess what the listening material is about. The teacher plays the tape and students put the pictures in the right order. At last the teacher checks the answers.2. Listen and underline.
