Step 1 热身复习。
1. Greetings.
T : Hello,boys and girls!
Ss.: Hello. (向多名学生或生生之间用Nice to meet you 打招呼,既复习了问候语又拉近了师生心距。

2. Sing the song.
T: Let's sing the song .Clap and sing together. OK?
Ss: OK.
Who is he ? (多媒体出示下列人物:Billy, Linda, May , Bob… 这样锻炼学生的反应能力,为学习新课做铺垫。

3. Play a game.
T: Who is she \he ?
S : He\She is ...
( 使用多媒体教学,给学生创设一种身临其境的教学环境,教师出示班级中同学小时候的照片,T: Who is she \he ? 让学生来猜猜,Ss : He\She is ...再点击鼠标出现同学现在的照片。
对于猜对的同学要给予笑脸的奖励。

(这个游戏既复习前面的内容又为新知的引入作铺垫,符合学生的年龄特点。

Step 2.学习新知。
教师出示多媒体课件中的多人照片。
T:How many boys\girls can you see?

A.Try to use.
(1)教师指着照片中的同学问?Who is she \he ?Who is that boy\girl ?(老师板书这两句话并在中间画上等号,并请同学来回答。

boy\girl ?
然后教师说Oh, he is short.
反复读short,并用肢体动作来表现它所代表的中文意思,然后教学short 的发音。
并说说你是用什么方法记住这个单词的写法的。
(2)用同样的方法教学strong.
(3)出示实物两个不同大小的橘子。
然后说:This one is big, that one is small.
用同样的方法教学big ,small.
巩固操练:
(1)用所学的单词来描述你看到的人物。
She is big …
(2)学唱歌曲:Who is that boy\girl?
B. Learn to say
出示第一段精彩的百米比赛视频,让Bob跑第二名。
鼓励同学们为他加油,然后教师喊come on 。
教学这一个短语。
出示第二段精彩的跳高比赛视频,让ZhangHong 在跳起来的同时停止播放。
然后教师问:Who is that girl ?
(1)听录音,回答问题。
多媒体出示问题。
(每个问题后面画有哭脸和笑脸,如果如果答案是对的涂笑脸,错的涂哭脸。
)

(2) 听录音,模仿语气和语调。
(3) 小组读,评议,选择适合自己的角色进行表演。

让学生自愿上台表演,自由发挥,自主交流,教师适时检测,给每一个学生提供展示的机会,培养学生的成就感。

并将前两课所学的单词运用到对话中,有助于学生对所学内容的理解,学生积极思维,主动实践,他们会真正感受到学英语有用。

走进新课程,感悟新理念
本课教学中我重在培养学生的听、说能力,引导学生进行活动化的学习。
以让学生“动"起来,让课堂"活"起来为目标,使学生能快快乐乐、轻轻松松地学习英语。
一、寓教于乐,优化英语课堂教学
由于本节课教学的对象是五年级学生,该年级的学生活泼好动,勇于开口模仿,而且他们接触英语的时间不算短,有一定的基础,对英语有着浓厚的兴趣。
根据他们的年龄特点,我大量运用游戏、歌曲、对话、表演等形式。
辅以形象直观的教具和现代多媒体教学手段,使学生积极、主动、大胆、愉快的参与教学活动。
学习单词时我带领学生一起做动作,或夸张,或幽默,给学生留下深刻的印象后,我鼓励学生大胆模仿,试着表演,他们在学中玩,玩中学,愉快地、不知不觉地学到了知识。
二、积极操练,激发学生学习兴趣
兴趣是学习的最佳内在动机,我根据小学生的心理特点,利用文中的歌曲引导学生记忆举行,讲枯燥的说解变成学生喜闻乐见的歌曲,让学生拍一拍,唱一唱,也可以做动作,速度由慢到快,重复几遍,进行比赛,形式多样。
学生们既动脑、动口又动手。
他们感到新鲜、有趣。
也因此唤起了学生的学习热情。
本节课中我力求以学生为主体,自己淡出教学活动,将课堂还给学生。
三、创设情景,培养学生语言能力
语言的交际功能是在一定的情境中体现出来的,让学生在真实情境中无意识地接触语言材料是十分有必要的。
教学中我多次运用课件中声像同步,动静结合的教学情景展示本课对话和单词,同时还设计和组织一些辅助的教学活动,如动作示范等,让学生愉快地学习英语。
学习歌曲时,我也用多媒体来展示人物,给人物加上了一些打招呼的动作。
这样营造出一种师生融洽、无拘无束、轻松愉快的学习氛围。
四、整合教材,注重学生创新能力的培养
利用信息教育的优势,将难以用语言描述的情景展示给学生,尽可能提供给学生充分想象的余地,激发培养学生丰富的想象能力,注重培养学生的创新思维能力。
整节课我力求将爱心带给学生,把微笑带给学生,把激励带给学生。
我希望在我的课堂里,教师是学生的大朋友,大家在平等、融洽的气氛中学习。
我也希望我的学生从此带入五彩缤纷的英语乐园中!。
