company, you would have probably laughed. Most of us did.But there were a handful of smart people who didn't laugh. They went to make their little websites at the right time, and today they don't have a worry in the world.I believe I've found such a business.Folks just like you are making lots of cash with this new technology we call...3D printing.Business Insider says it's “the next tr illion dollar industry.”The Economist compares its history-changing impact to the invention of the steam engine.Trend forecasters are whispering how this invention could create “more millionaires than the internet.”All around the world,3D printing revolution goes on...and this is your chance. You are finally in exactly the right place,at precisely the right time...right where you can knock into the growing trend—3D printing. These 3D printers create actual objects that you can hold in your hand and use in your everyday life.I know it sounds unbelievable, but it actually works.Don't ask me how.I'm not a technology expert, and can't explain it to you. What I do know is that 3D printing makes me more dollars in a week, and sometimes in a single day, than I used to make in a month...and now you can do the same!3D printing is the largest money-making opportunity of the decade,an opportunity that anyone with a computer and the internet can exploit. You can simply design the product you want on your computer or download a finished design, and the 3D printer makes it for you.You can 3D print things like toys, jewelry, spare parts, you name it.Thanks to 3D printers, now you can have a factory right on I hate,or work my ass to the bone just to fill someone else's pockets.Instead,I enjoy time with my family.I take luxury vacations and travel the world, dine in nice restaurants without having to check the prices, and live life the way it was meant to be lived.Unfortunately,a growing number of people these days choose to rely on the government or their employers.I will show you how to make money with
1.DMike Ingrarn had been a guard the Ohio State football tea m in the late 1950s.I believe he may have been captain in his senior year.He is a tough - looking guy,a hero in Columbus,a brave fighter in a red—and—gray uniform. One holiday season Jack and I had been at the F&R Laza rus department store downtown, and we saw, carrying a tall pile of boxes, someone who clearly was working in the Lazarus stockroom(仓库).It was, Mike Ingram, post—Ohio state football player. We stared—how could we help it? And Mike Ingram stopped in his track, looked right back at us,and said, with bite in his tone:“Yeah,it's me.”Meaning:Go ahead and stare if you must.Couldn’t really blame him. There was nothing wrong with what he was doing——be was earning some money in the stockroom. But he was out in the world now, he wasn't where he had been when everythin g was bathed in sunlight;he was in Ohio Stadium, hearing the supporting shouts from 78,000 people who loved him and his teammates. He had moved past that trust of life’s roles,as everyone does.It was his misfortune to have, been famous very early;there must have been dozens and dozens of men in their twenti es working in the Lazarus stockroom that holiday season, but Mike Ingram was the one sure to attract cnrious passers, because he was no longer who he was supposed to be.68.When the writer met him in Lazarus,Mike was a .A.salesman B.manager C.1ab orer D.customer69.By saying“how could we help it?”the writer means that .A.he and his friend just can’t force themselves not to loo k at MikeB.he wonders whether he and his friend can help MikeC.he and his friend can’t stop looking at each otherD.he and his friend can do nothing to stop Mike carrying the boxes70.Which of the following is NOT true according to the passag e?A.Mike used to be very popular when he played in the O hio State football team.B.Many other people would stare at Mike like the writer when they run into him.C.Working as an ordinary worker, according to the writer,is Mike’s misfortune.D.Some people accept what life gives them.71.We can infer from the passage that when Mike was stared at,he looked .A.nice B.worried C.sh y D.unhappyRespect your teachers.First of all, students should respect the teachers. They should pay attentio n in the classes. That means to salute him,to stand from his chair when the teacher enters the classroom etc.Attend any lesson attentively. In class of a certain subject or teacher you don’t like very much,if it’s total anarchy, how can we talk about respect?Play by the rules. If your teacher wants you to use wide-lined paper--do it ! If she tells you to sharpen your pencils only before class starts, listen to her.If she doesn’t accept late homework,do yours on time.Sometimes classroom rules seem strict or e ven silly, but most teachers know what’s necessary to make things run s moothly, what it takes to let the learning begin. And the better the learni ng environment, the smarter you’ll be!Expect her/him to like you.Teachers are teachers because they like kids.Given the chan ce,most teachers want to be your friends too.Respect your teach er,but don’t be afraid of her/him.She/He wants you to have a great school year just as much as you want to have!Put first things first.Friends are a fun part of school. But they’re not the most impor tant part. When your teacher is teaching, give her/him your full attention.Even when it's hard to do.— recess_ will come soon enough, and that’s the time for playing with your friends.2.Which of the following would be the best title for the text? __ ____A.Advice Before You Go To School B.What You Should Do At SchoolC.How To Get Along With Your Teacher D.How To Plan Your Time At School3.What do you think the title of the second paragraph“ Play by the rules’’ mean ?A. T heir answers showed that children raised around books spend more years in school, even if their parents are poor and illiterate (没文化的).Mariah Evans said, “What we found was that there is a very big effect of growing up in a bookish home on children’s success in school. Children who grow up in homes where there are more b ooks go further in education. And additional(额外的) books are especially important for children who come from f amilies where the parents aren’t terribly highly educated. The b ooks can be stories, sports, travels and anything. But there, we’re seeing that the books that have the most effect are history an d science.”“It says that there really is a contribution that parents can make to their children’s education. And it doesn’t mean that you have to turn into somebody like me whose walls are lined with books.“But it really does mean that if you spend a few minutes most d ays a week reading to your children, and if they see you readin g from time to time, and if you talk about books with them from time to time, and when somebody asks a question, say ‘let’s loo k it up’ instead of discussing it as a matter of opinion—that all those things can actually make quite a great difference t o children in their education.”56. It can be inferred from the passage that _______.A. it is more difficult for children raised around books to finish schoolB. highly educated parents prevent a child going further in educ ationC. more books are needed by children from poor and illiterate familiesD. children with poor parents don’t spend as many years in sch ool57. Their answers showed that children raised around books spend more years in school, even if their parents are poor and illiterate (没文化的).Mariah Evans said, “What we found was that there is a very big effect of growing up in a bookis h home on children’s success in school. Children who grow up in homes where there are more books go further in education. An d it doesn’t mean that you have to turn into somebody like me whose walls are lined with books.“But it really does mean that if you spend a few minutes most days a week reading to your child ren, and if they see you reading from time to time, and if you talk about books with them from ti me to time, and when somebody asks a question, say ‘let’s look it up’ instead of discussing it as a matter of opinion—that all those things can actually make quite a great difference to children in their education.”56. 1.A new research suggests that animals have a much higher leve l of brainpower than once thought. If animals do have intelligenc e, how do scientists measure it? Before defining animals’ intelli gence, scientists defined what is not intelligence. Instinct is not intelligence. It is a skill 50 into an animal’s brain by its gen etic heritage Tricks can be learned by repetition, but no real thinking is 51 . Cuing, in which animals learn to do or not to do certain t hings by following outside signals, does not demonstrate intellig ence. Scientists believe that insight, the ability to use tools, and communication using human language are all 52 measur es of the mental ability of animals. When judging animal intelligence, scientists look for insight, whi ch they define as a flash of sudden understanding. When a you ng gorilla (大猩猩) could not reach fruit from a tree, she noticed crates (木板箱) on the lawn near the tree. She 53 the crates into a pyramid, then climbed on them to reach her 54 . The gorilla’s i nsight allowed her to solve a new problem without trial and erro r.The ability to use tools is also an important sign of intelligence. Crows (乌鸦) use sticks to pry (撬开) peanuts out of cracks. The crow 55 intelligence by sho wing it has learned what a stick can do. 56 , otter (水獭) use rocks to crack open crab shells in order to get at the me at.Many animals have learned to communicate using human lang uage. One chimp can recognize and correctly use more than 25 0 57 symbols on a keyboard. These symbols 58 hu man words. An amazing parrot can 59 five objects of two different types. He can understand the difference between the number, color, and kind of object. The ability to 60 is a basic thinking skill. In addition, he seems to use language to express his needs and 61 . When ill and taken to the anima l hospital for his first overnight stay, this parrot turned to go. “Co me here!” he cried to a scientist who works with him. “I love you . I’m sorry. Wanna go back?”The research on animal intelligence raises important questions. If animals are smarter than 62 thought, would that change the way humans interact with them? Would animals still be used for food, clothing, or 63 experimentation? Finding the an swer to these tough questions makes a difficult 64 evenf or a large-brained, problem-solving species like our own.5 0 .A. developedB. admittedC. programmedD. injected5 1 .A. inheritedB. involvedC. instructedD. intended5 2 .A. realistic B. unusual C. accurateD. effective5 3 .A. piled B. assembledC. supportedD. divided5 4 .A. potentialB. rewardC. standardD. top5 5A. exploresB. expandsC. explainsD. exhibits5 6 .A. A number of these species ar e endangered, over 20 in 52 . Although that number may see m small, losing even one species would be 53 . Nowadays sci entists even look to butterflies as a 54 of the environment’s health, since they are 55 to environmental changes. 1.________ your own needs and styles of communication is as important as learning to convey your affection and emotions.A.Understanding B.To be understoodC.Being understood D.Having understood【答案】A【解析】【详解】考查非谓语动词。
故选A。
2.______ to as much English as possible is a good way to learn English well.A.Exposed B.Being exposed C.Having exposed D.To expose【答案】B【解析】试题分析:句意:尽可能多的接触英语是学好英语的很好的办法。

其它0-1题:包括助动词(如强调谓语动词的do,does,did ;构成部分倒装的do,does,did ;构成一般疑问句的do,does,did ),构成强调结构的it 或that ,连接性副词(before,ago,however,anyway ...)
