Where is your home?
Y ou must be thinking that I am silly to ask this question. Cause who doesn't know where his home is? But here I mean the real home.
In the movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Caesar always regards Will's house as his home and tries everything to get back to this "home", but finally he gets to know that the jungle is his real home. He belongs to this place.
As a member in society, we are always stumbled by the outside stuff. We are always keen on more money, fancy houses, luxury cars and the material comforts. It is so easy to lose oneself in the colorful world. Then unconsciously we just abandon the real and precious things in our heart little by little, such as contentment, honesty and self-communion. We are involved in the trend of the pursuit of material comforts which are actually flashy and empty. Since that most of the people in a group are like this, it is hard for one person to be immune. Then it is no wonder that some critics remark that in modern society emptiness occupies people's mind.
So here I have a question: where is your home? Can you make it clear what you really want? Have you put yourself in the right place? Can you always keep a peaceful mind? If you can, you've found your real home, which is a place for you to think over these things: who am I? What I really want to do? Do much money and fancy houses really matter? Why don't I lead a content life just by reading some useful books, thinking and doing anything else that can make my mind peaceful and content?
