不可数名词具体化初探

不可数名词具体化是高考命题的考点之一。笔者在多年教学实践中,总结了这些常见词的用法，现将其成文,以期抛砖引玉且就教于方家。可数名词前用a /an 较常见.如:a book , an orange.但是不可数名词前加a/an，则表示＂一种＂＂一类”“一场”“一阵＂具体的人或事。

11. hurry ： He was in a hurry to leave.他匆忙地离开了。–How did the

teacher leave ?

–He left in a great hurry.

12.joy ： Her child was a joy to her.孩子对她来说是一种乐趣。比较: To my

joy, he came here. 使我高兴的是,他来这了。

13. kindness ： He has done me a great kindness.他已经帮了我个大忙。比

较 : Thank you for your kindness.谢谢你的好意。

14. knowledge ： He has a good knowledge of this area.他很了解这个地区。

It's necessary to have a knowledge of international

比较: Knowledge comes from practice. 知识来源于实践。ugh ： Then he gave a loud laugh.这时他大笑一声。He said with a laugh.他大笑着说。

16. life ： We live/lead a happy life today. 我们今天过着幸福生活。类

似短语: live /lead a simple/hard/miserable life 过着简朴的

生活/生活得很艰难/过着悲惨的生活

17.look： After 1980,the city began to take on a new look.一九八О年
