二、教学重点与难点本节课的重点是让学生能熟练的掌握本单元的单词和句型。
难点是让学生能够正确的并熟练的谈论自己喜爱的学科并给出理由。
三、教材分析:本单元的主要教学内容是:(1)学习及复习学科类相关词汇,即subject ,science, favorite, P.E ,Chinese, English, health, music, art, history, math, fun, interesting, relaxing, difficult, easy, helpful, useful, why, because等。
(2)让学生能自由谈论自己的喜好并给出理由。
本课时是本单元的第一课时,虽然课前已经学过相关的单词,但是学生对新知识还比较陌生,引导学生学习好本节课的语法项目对以后的学习和交际会有很大的帮助。
四、学情分析和学法指导初一学生活泼好动,好奇心强,有较强的模仿能力和求知欲,而且具备了一定的英语口语交际能力,学生对favorite一次比较熟悉。
在此基础上,通过让学生自己动口、动手、动脑进行交流,让学生在一定的情景中使用语言进行有意义的表达,使不同水平层次的学生都有学习的积极性。
都有所收获。
根据本课内容特点,我采用了直观演示法,交际法,任务型教学法等方法进行教学,在教学过程中用彩色图片,小黑板和flashcard 创设语言情景等方法,增强课堂学习气氛,有助于突出重点,突破难点,使学生轻松掌握语言点。

(二)地位和作用:本课是第五单元第一课时,教材中出现了There are/is….的用法,本课时又是第五单元的重点,因此本课时的教学对第五单元的学习起着关键的作用。
二、说目标(一)教学目标:根据新课程理念教材内容,教学要求,我制定以下教学目标:知识目标:能听懂、会说、会读本课时主要词汇similar, different ,hawker ,fewer, more,以及句型There are/is…。
能力目标:能用本课时所学句型There are/is…进行对事物的不同之处进行描述。
情感目标:培养学生敏锐的观察力。
(二)重点与难点本课时的重点是正确运用fewer, less, more进行比较。
难点是运用句型Th ere are/is…。
总思路:通过分组和情境引导学生主动地参与课堂教学,进行描述与操练让学生掌握主要词汇及句型的运用。
三、说教法(一)教法分析:(全班分组,情景引导,活动)英语教学的目的在于让学生学会运用英语,所以在课堂教学中需创设特定的情境,使学生通过模仿和想象,促进学生的理解和记忆,启发学生思维达到教学目的。
(二)学法指导要让全班的学生都参与到课堂活动中来,小组之间的合作尤为重要,可使同学们都敢于在课堂中操练口语,更可使学生们不会有被忽视的感觉,合作简单,提高效果。
(三)教法指导:充分利用多媒体,投影仪,录音机等教学手段,为学生创设英语学习的环境增加学生的学习兴趣。
四、教学过程为了完成以上教学任务,我设计了以下教学过程:Step 1 Warming up通过问候与复习来活跃课堂气氛。
