The Mekong River begins in a glacier on a Tibetan mountain. At first the river is small and the water is clear and cold. Then it begins to flow quickly. It becomes rapids as it flows through deep valleys, flowing across western Yunnan Province. Sometimes the river becomes a waterfall and flows wide valleys. We were both surprised to learn that half of the river is in China. After it flows out of China and the high altitude,the Mekong becomes wide,brown and warm. As it enters Southeast Asia, its pace slows. It makes wide bends or meanders through low valleys to the plains where rice grows. At last, the river delta flows into the South China Sea.

定语从句关系代词的用法:
定语从句又被称为形容词性从句,它依附于先行词存
在,对先行词进行修饰和限定。定语从句通常由关系代词
和关系副词等引导,本单元主要介绍关系代词引导限制性
定语从句的用法。 which :引导从句,在从句中作主语、宾语、表语或 定语;先行词指事物。
③先行词为形容词最高级或被形容词最高级修 饰时; ④先行词为the last,the only,the very等或被 这些词修饰时; ⑤主句为 who 引出的特殊疑问句,先行词虽指
人,但关系代词一般用that。
