教学内容
The topic of this unit is “Finding your way”. In this “Integrated Skills” period, we will learn something about the directions. The students will listen to the guide’s introduction and learn how to draw the route. And try to learn how to get to the special place.
4. Practice the dialogue in pairs, then act it out.
Make up a new dialogue.
Present new map and ask students to work out the route in groups.
1. Listen to the tape and put the sentences in the correct order in A2. (If necessary, play the tape for a second time. )
Listen and finish the exercises.
Arouse the interest of learning.
Practice students’ spoken English.
Improve the ability of getting information through the materials.
2. Listen to the tape again, then draw the route on the map in A3.
1.Recite the dialogue in Part B.
2.Finish the exercises in the workbook.

The seventh grade students are not good at listening for some target information and
they are not familiar with shorthand skills. So in this teaching period, I will teach students some skills about how to write down the information they need quickly and correctly. Especially focus on the Key words in the sentences.
