一、游戏式热身
游戏是在一定规则支配下设置的一种语言环境. 在这环境中,学生用英语进行交流,通过游戏学生 可以感受到其中的乐趣。学在乐中,使学生的学习 积极性大大增强。丰富多彩的游戏活动为学生创造 了生动活泼的学习氛围。游戏式热身可以帮助我们 有目的,有计划,有步骤地组织各环节的课堂教学。 在英语课堂上,游戏时间不宜过长,次数不应过多, 过长,大脑兴奋会转化为大脑仰制状态。过多,学 生会失去兴趣。在创设游戏是也应该注意到此游戏 能够对本节课的学习起到一定的作用。例如:本节 课要学习一些有关动物的单词,那么游戏的内容也 应该与动物有关。课前热身常用的英语游戏:
2.用拍乒乓球的方法复习数词。 找两个同学到前面来,再找两个同学当工作人员 负责听两同学数数,听听是否正确。一分钟为 限,时间一到,立即向老师报数,看谁拍得多。 此游戏由教师发开始和停止命令。

浅议利用warming—up优化课堂教学课堂教学是教学的主阵地,因此抓住课堂是提高教学效率的关键。
英语课的课堂教学结构,自从“五段教学法”被提出以来(Johann Friedrich Herbart,1776-1841)就一直沿用至今,并逐渐演变为今天大多数英语教师授课的框架:warming-up(热身),reading(阅读),presentation(呈现),practice(练习),homework (巩固)。
不同的教师由于自身的素质和个人喜好不同,上课方法的选择和课堂效率也不相同。
自然心中有一个问题:百花齐放,何法为佳?怎么样的课堂教学才最有效?经过不断的尝试和研究提高课堂教学有效性,从warming-up做起。
一、充分认识Warming-up的作用首先,教师要根据每个单元中Warming-up的内容,结合学生的心理特点以及他们的认知水平、情感需要,找准切入点,鼓励他们主动参与。
这样,才能够真正地把语言当作交际工具来运用,让学生通过体验和实验的过程学习语言,培养学生获取、处理和使用相关信息的能力,培养学生的语言表达能力,尤其是口头表达能力。
其次,Warming-up既是师生之间的交流,也是学生之间的交流。
这种交流既是语言信息的交流,也是情感信息的交流。
教师与学生之间的双向交流,有利于融洽师生关系,激活课堂氛围;而学生与学生之间的相互交流,有助于培养学生集体合作意识,变被动接受为主动参与,激发他们丰富的想像力和创新潜能,最大限度地提高课堂效率。
再之,Warming-up也有益于提高学生的书面表达能力,对于不容易口头表达的话题或图片,教师不妨主张学生课前互相讨论,把想表达的意思笔头写下来,这样课堂上师生交流就容易得多。
例如,Unit10 The World Around Us中的Warming-up部分,目的是通过三幅图片了解哪些动物正濒临灭绝和导致它们濒临灭绝的原因;认识保护野生动物的重要性和必要性,并探讨保护濒临灭绝动物的措施和建议。
