Unit5 Dinosaurs

周玲玲教学内容:Unit5 Dinosaurs A

教学目标:

引导学生学习有关恐龙的知识和观察不同恐龙的外部特征,用I like Dinosaur T. It eats meat. It has sharp teeth. It runs fast. ...描述观察到的恐龙。

教学重难点:

1.教学重点:

◆词汇:dinosaur, sharp teeth, small teeth, run fast, walk slowly,

lives near lakes.

2.教学难点:

◆会用所学句型描述看到的恐龙:I like Dinosaur T. It eats meat.

It has sharp teeth. It runs fast…..

教学辅助:多媒体课件、写着谜语的纸片

教学过程:

一、Pre-task preparation

1、Free talk

(1)T:What is your favourite animal?

S: I like.....

T: Do you konw what animal do I like? I like fish. It’s nice.

(2)T: Let’s listen to the sound and guess what animal is it?( Click the

bubbles. Listen and guess.)

S: It’s chicken, cow, tiger......(最后一个是恐龙的声音)设计意图:老师和学生一起谈论各自喜欢的动物,让孩子们听声音猜动物,复习已学的动物单词,与学生拉近距离,活跃课堂气氛.,自然而然地引入今天的学习内容。

2、Watch a video and tell what animal it is.

T: Do you know what is it?

Ss: Dinosaurs.

T: Good. You got it. Look, here, one dinosaur, and here, two dinosaurs.

( Write the title and read it)

设计意图:以视频引入即将学习的恐龙,激发学生兴趣。

二、While-task presentation

1、Lead in

T: How many dinosaurs do you know? You can say it in Chinese.

Ss: 霸王龙,剑龙......

2、Watch the video of partA.

T: Boys and girls, today Pat, Koko and Tim are going to see some dinosaurs. Now watch the video and see what they are.

T: How many dinosaurs did you see? What are they?

Ss: I can see three dinosaurs. They are Dinosaur D, Dinosaur T, Dinosaur B. (板书Dinosaur D, Dinosaur T, Dinosaur B)

设计意图:初步认识即将学习的三个恐龙,激发孩子们学习的兴趣。预设时间:2’

3、Learn to describe the three dinosaurs.

(1)Dinosaur D

T: Do you know anything about them?

Ss: No.

T: I don’t know, either. Let’s learn together.(show a picture of Dinosaur D),Look, wa, it is so tall. What dinosaur is it? Who knows?

Ss: Dinosaur D

T: Yes, it’s Diplodocus. We can call it Dinosaur D. look, it is very long. It eats plants. It has small teeth. It walks slowly. It does not fly or swim. Now, Can you describe it? Let’s try.( Show pictures of each part of Dinosaur D)

S1: It is very long.

S2: It eats plants.

S3: It has small teeth.

S4: It walks slowly.

S5: It does not fly or swim.

(每个学生描述完一个方面书一个短语。)

Especially learn “walk s lowly” and do actions.

Ss: Look at Dinosaur D. It is very long. It eats plants. It has small teeth. It walks slowly. It does not fly or swim.

T: A competition. Boys/Girls, please.

Boys/Girls: Look at Dinosaur D. It is very long. It eats plants. It has small teeth. It walks slowly. It does not fly or swim.

(2)Dinosaur T

T: Look, it is very big. It is Tyrannosaurus Rex, Also Dinosaur T.

Ss: Dinosaur T.

T: Who can describe it? One student one sentence.

S1/S2/S3…: It is very big. It eats meat. It has sharp teeth. It runs fast. It does not fly or swim.

T: Very clever. Let’s try again. (出示DinosaurT的各个部分,请同学描述)

S1: It is very big

S2: It eats meat

S3: It has sharp teeth.

S4: It runs fast.

S5: It does not fly or swim.

(每个学生描述完一个部分,板书一个短语。)

Emphasize on “sharp teeth” ,learn “run fast”and do actions.
