英语作文我的最后一个周末使用过去式六句
My Last Weekend
Last weekend was one of the most exciting and fun times
I've had in a long while! It started off on Friday after school. I rushed home, dropped my backpack, and quickly changed out of my school clothes into something more comfortable. I was so happy the weekend had finally arrived!
That evening, my parents took me and my little brother to the new indoor adventure park that had just opened up in our town. It was huge, with so many different activities and attractions to explore. We started off in the massive playground area, which had climbing structures, tubes to crawl through, swings, and slides galore. I loved racing my brother through the mazes of tunnels and seeing who could get to the other side first. He's really fast, but I managed to beat him a few times!
After we had burned off some energy in the playground, we headed over to the arcade section. My eyes went wide when I saw the huge variety of games - racing, shooting, claw machines, you name it! My parents gave us each a handful of tokens to get started. I think I spent half my tokens just trying to win a huge teddy bear from the claw game. No luck there, but I did score a
ton of tickets from the other games that I'm saving up to get an awesome prize.
The indoor ropes course was definitely one of the highlights.
I was a little nervous at first since you have to wear a safety harness and it's pretty high up. But the staff helped me get all set up and gave me some tips. Once I got going, it was a blast! I loved climbing up into the different obstacle sections, walking across the tightropes and swinging bridges, and ziplining across. My brother wasn't quite tall enough for that one yet.
We finished off our evening at the indoor playground's huge trampoline park area. Jumping up and down on all the different trampolines was such a fun workout. We got to try out trampoline dodgeball and dunk basketball too. I was sore from all the bouncing around, but it was worth it!
On Saturday, I invited a few friends over for a sleepover pool party at my house. We spent pretty much the whole day splashing around in our backyard pool. We played pool games like pool basketball and did silly swimming contests to see who could do the biggest cannon balls or most laps underwater. For lunch, we made our own pizzas from scratch which was really fun (and messy!). That night, we had a big movie night in the living
room, stocked up on popcorn and candy. Somehow none of us managed to stay awake until the end of the third movie!
I didn't want the weekend to end, but on Sunday we had to get ready to go back to school the next day. We spent the morning cleaning up from the sleepover and relaxing around the house. In the afternoon, my dad took us to the park to get some fresh air and run around on the playgrounds for a few hours. On the drive home, I started feeling a little sad that the weekend was over. But I also felt so grateful for all the amazing memories I had made over those past couple days. I can't wait for my next weekend adventure!。
