教学目标与要求
1. 能够听、说、读、写句子:How do you come to school? Usually I come on foot.等。
并能在实际情景中正确运用。
2. 能够表达自己用何种方式上学。
如:Usually I come to school by bus.
重点四会句子:How do you come to school? Usually I come on foot.
难点Usually, often, sometimes的区别使用。

(一)Warm up.
播放歌曲How do you get there?
学生听音乐,看课本歌词。
感知曲调和歌词大意。
了解本单元要学习的主要内容。
并小声跟唱。
(一)Revision
出示一些周末活动类单词或短语。
和学生对话。
T: What do you do on the weekend?
S1: Usually I do my homework. Sometimes I watch TV.
T: What about you, …?
S2: I often read books. Sometimes I play computer games.
…
通过以上对话复习usually, often, sometimes的用法。

Presentation新知呈现
1. 教师接着刚才的对话说:We have a lot of interesting things to do on the weekend. What about on Mondays? What do you do on Mondays? 帮助学生回答:We must go to school. 教师适时问道:How do you come to school? 把这个句子板书到黑板上,帮助学生理解句子含义。
教师接着说:This class, let’s talk about the ways to school.引出本课的主题。
2. 教师投影一幅小汽车的图片说:What’s this? It’s a car. Yes, I usually come to school by car.呈现开车上班的图片再次说这个句子。
并板书。
3. 教师接着介绍说:I usually come to school by car. But sometimes I come to school by bike. 接着呈现by bike的图片,教学by bike.并板书。
4. 教师继续介绍:I usually come to school by car. Sometimes I come to school by bike. What about you? 看看学生能不能回答利用其他的短语进行回答。
如果不会用英语回答,也可以用汉语说出上学的方式。
教师帮助回答并学习新的短语。
如:on foot, by bus等。
5. 教师课件呈现Amy和Mike的图片接着引导:Look! Amy meets Mike at school this morning. Do you want to know what they are talking about? Let’s listen and tick or cross.引出Let’s try部分。
教师播放录音,学生听音选择。
然后对照答案,更正错误。

Practice巩固练习
1. 完成Let’s try的任务后,教师接着呈现Mrs Smith与Amy 和Wu Yifan见面的场景接着引导说:Now, Amy and Mike meet Mrs Smith. What are they talking about? Let’s read the dialogue on page 14 and choose. They are talking _________.
A. the weather
B. the school
C. the ways to go to school
让学生快速读对话,了解大意,进行选择。
2. 在让学生细读对话,完成下面的填空题。
① Amy usually comes to school _______. Sometimes ______
② Mike often comes to school _________.
③ Mrs Smith usually comes to school ____. Sometimes ____.
学生读完对话后给学生一点时间完成填空题,然后找同学回答,对照答案,更正错误。
3. 教师播放Let’s talk部分的对话,学生听录音跟读。
4. 教师带读对话,并向学生讲解难点或重点的内容。
5.学生自读对话,边读边向老师或同学询问不懂或不会读的对方。
6. 让学生分角色领读对话,并找几组同学展示读对话。
7. 教师事先准备一些打乱顺序的单词卡片,让学生读单词后迅速拼成正确的句子,或者空出四会句子中的某些短语或单词,只给出开头的第一个字母做提示,让学生填充句子。
最后让学生书写四会句子:
How do you come to school?
I usually come to school on foot.
