PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of discrimination allowing accurate discrimination of the residue inside an internal organ such as the large intestine.
SOLUTION: The figure shows the large intestine 60 including liquid 14 inside the large intestine, other tissues 71 and 73 including liquid 64 and another tissue 72 including air 62. If the interface of the liquid is extracted from the image by utilizing the CT value of each substance and the gradient thereof, the interface 11 of the liquid 14 in the large intestine and the interface 11 of the liquid 64 included in the other tissues 71 and 73 are extracted. Next, a horizontal part of the interface 11 is extracted. In this way, the interface 11 of the liquid 64 included in the other tissues 71 and 73 can be excluded and only the horizonal face 12 of the liquid 14 in the large intestine can be extracted. Then, the liquid 14 in the large intestine in contact with the horizontal face 12 and air 13 inside the large intestine are solely discriminated from the region inside the large intestine.
