What can we learn in college
When I frist stepped into college. I extremely felt at a loss. Just like a lost beacon, in front of me , there is n thought ,no destination even no hope. However, as the time goes on, I know what I can learn with the help of my teachers. College is different from any period of learning, besides academic learning, which emphasize more on cultivation of our individual ability,including personal qualities, the ability of independent thought, your own opinion to culture and tradition and how to learn .
Fristly, coming to college, we learn how to be a person. I don't mean we are not a person before going to college. What I want to say is when we were in high school, the marks is everything and we neglect many valuable things. Instead, in college, it gives us a chance to get a comprehensive self-improvement and w have a better and deeper understanding about how to be a true person., who has morality, conscience and responsibility and admirable qualities. Because they are the best touch stone to measure our value. As we all know, the job-hunting competitive is furious . In orderto survive in our society and stand out in competition, we must be trained to posses good personal qualities .In addition, the psychological quality is especially of importance. Whatever we do, we will encounter lots of adversities. At this time, we need to a fine psychological quality to face ups and downs bravely in our life, work and study. College is a smaller social community, many sadness is worthwhile to learn and cherish.
Secondly, in college,we can learn how to thought on our own.I clearly remember that we must follow the teachers and parents ' opinions about what we should do and not do.It seems that we are the birds in the cage and we have no right to own minds. Everything is at the mercy of others. On the contrary, college advocate pursuing and conveying personal argument.and we get a new start We are no longer to do what others tell us. We are encouraged to express our owe views boldly. Actually, college attach more importance to the cultivation students' personal tthought for college is the extension of high education. A personal thought depends on one's future perspective to some extend. If you linger on the superficial fact forever, yo u will never have an insight into its essence and you cannot reach the summit of success. In college , the ability of us are often trained by our profound professors and current social reality. Only by observing one thing from tis surface is far enough. What is more, we should keep it in mind : in anytime we should have or own ideas.Don't follow others always, for the truth is always in hang of the small minority. We should have confidence and the spirit of challenge.
Thirdly, we can learn our culture and tradition from a completely new angle. Tow years ago, I hardly know what are culture and tradition and what they mean to me. Maybe both of them are so abstract that I don't pay attention to them. Nevertheless, now I know what culture and tradition apparently and the importance of them to the
development of our nation. All these I have to appreciate college education and I greatly benefit from it. Additionally, I understand a rule that our learning is a process from specific to abstract. Culture and tradition are gradually established in the evolution of our country. They have a profound effect on our every aspect of life. Although some of them have disappeared with the time , most of them are keeping on all the time.They are an important from our past , through our present and into the future. Understanding culture and tradition is a necessary for our college students.
Finally, in college we can learn how to learn . If we go wrong direction in learning, we will waste plenty of time. In other words, knowledge is limitless, while or life is limited. We should make full use of time to acquire something useful and meanfull. At first , we should make the objection clear with taking the consideration of our interest, energy and ins prospect. Because the past lessons teach me that interest and energy play an significant role for us to learning. At most time, owning to the shortage of the interest and energy, our learning scheme are beyond attainment. As a result, we have to give it up. It is not worthwhile to do such things, for ti wastes our precious time and energy. Second, in order to get close to the aim, there is another request making a detail plan about the learning. By doing so, we can make proportions for it accordingly. Moreover, it is not easy for us to lost the sense of direction. At last, we should have a rational attitude toward the learning because in the process we may confront with many hardships and difficulties. But we should bear it in mind: no cross , no crown,. No one can easily succeed.We are a college student . We should learn by ourselves. Because college teachers are not like the teachers in the high school to guide us to learn every day. We should form the habit of learning.
In a word, college is a knowledgeable palace, where we can acquire various knowledge. Whatever is the native or the foreign, the art or the science. The key factor relies on or attitude toward them and I think we should keep the motto in mind: no pains, no gains. All of us are eager to be successfully in whatever we do and only those who are hard-working and brave enough to encounter difficulties of all sorts are most liking to reach the goa .
