Lesson21 The Fable of the woodcutter
教学设计
一、教学目标:
1.语言知识:
掌握词汇: woodcutter axe dive
接触词汇:policy admit fable
掌握短语: make a /one’s living dive into
2.语言技能:通过本课的学习培养学生综合运用语言的能力,有效提高学生听说及阅读能力。
3. 情感态度:通过本课的学习,来培养学生诚信做人和合作学习的意识,从而达到共同提高的目的。
4 .学习策略:通过小组活动和游戏的方式来完成听说及阅读的训练。
二、教学重难点
1.教学重点
如何使学生有效的掌握生词woodcutter、 axe 、dive、 admit、 fable及重点短语 make a /one’s living dive into;so that 和so…that…的区别。
2.教学难点
使学生熟练掌握a+序数词+名词与the+序数词+名词的区别。
三、教学步骤
Step 1 Lead-in :
I believe all of have read many stories ,but today we will learn a very interesting
fable story .Do you want to know about it ?
【设计思路】语言导入,通过先说学习一个有趣的寓言故事来吊起学生学习的兴趣和欲望。
Step 2 Show leaning aims to the students.
【设计思路】让学生明确我们要学什么,使得学生更加的主动。
Step 3 learning new words
Learning the new words by show pictures.
【设计思路】为学生阅读扫清障碍,让学生更好的了解文章内容。
Step 4 Reading
Read the text and answer the following questions:
1) What happened to the woodcutter when he was cutting wood beside a lake?
2) Who appeared as the woodcutter cried?
3) How did the woodcutter get back his old axe?
4) Why did the spirit give the woodcutter the other two axes as presents?
【设计思路】培养学生的阅读能力,让学生深入了解课文内容.
Read the text again and ask students to choose the words that describe the woodcutter and the spirit.
Step 5 learning language points
Ask students to read the text again and find out the main points of the lesson with their partner or desk mate. Than share their ideas with others.
After share the students’ idea .teacher explains the main points to the students.
Step 5 Practice
Check the usage of the useful phrases by playing games.
【设计思路】一节课上到这时学生的注意力开始分散了,通过做游戏的方式来练习本课的语言点,从而达到熟练掌握。
