Get the Attention of the Audience: Anyone feel hot in here? I sure do. How many people here feel hot, raise your hand. [Questioning the Audience]
Main Point If you are feeling hot like me, then perhaps you need what I need, air conditioning in your dorm now! Here are some reasons why.

Take something from your daily life and related it to your topic.
Tell a funny story and relate it to your topic. (the hurricane helicopter joke)
Refer back to the introduction. If the introduction was a question, then
answer your question, if it was a quote then address your quote, if it was a story, then rehash the story.
