Dear Abby,
I'm a helpless(无助的) mother. My son Tom is 15 years old. I find that the older he grows, the less we talk. I feel very sad and I really need help.
My first problem is about his hobbies. He spends almost all his spare time on computer games. When he gets home, he always turns on the computer and closes the door. I'm getting worried about him, especially when his English teacher tells me he always gets low grades in English exams. Second, he likes new technology(技术), but I don't have enough money and I can't afford all the things he wants.
Recently, I've found that he is always alone. I've never seen him talk to his friends on the phone or going out with anyone on weekends. This is the last problem I have.
What should I do to help him? Please give me some advice.

Then they would hang them on the week day task board. Jim likes to clean the bathroom, so he picked up the card “clean the bathroom”. Robert loves to make the bed so he picked up his favorite ca rd. Jim again picked up “wash vegetables” and Robert chose “feed the fish”. Soon the two boys were happy to take away all the cards

As teenagers, you have many dreams. These dreams can be very big. Such as winning the Nobel Prize, or they can be small, you may just want to become the best student in your class. Once you find a dream, what do you do with it? Do you ever try to make your dream come true? Andrew Matthews, an Australian writer tells us that making our dreams come true is life’s biggest challenge(挑战). 83 You may think you’re not very good at some school subjects or it is impossible for you to become a writer. These kinds of thoughts stop you from getting your dream. In fact, everyone can make his dream come true. The first thing you must do is to remember what your dream is. Don’t let it leave your heart. Keep telling yourself what you want. Do this step by step and your dream will come true faster because a big dream is made up of many small dreams.
