It’s my great honor to be here to share my lesson with you.I will begin this representation with seven parts. Analysis of the Teaching MaterialTeaching Material: The content of this lesson is Senior High English for China Book7 module 1 Basketball---- “Listening and Speaking”. This module is about basketball game. By studying of this module, students will be able to learn knowledge about basketball game , and some famous basketball player in history, such as Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain and Yao Ming; and develop the interest in basketball sport. At the same time, let the students learn how to write a reply. From this lesson, it starts from listening to speaking.Listening: There are three parts in listening. The first part is pre-listening test made from the textbook, which is about some basketball terms and will turn up in the listening material, aiming to have a good preparation for the listening part. The second part is to listen to a conversation of part 1, which is about a commentary from two commentators speaking at the beginning of a game of The Chicago Bulls with The Houston Rockets. After listening to part 1, students will be given four multiple-choice questions to test students’ listening ability.
