课程背景
北京版五年级下教材以题材为纲,以结交际功能和语言结构为主线,引导学生开展语言实践活动或完成具有一定实际意义的语言任务,注重语言学习基础,侧重单元整体设计名著中文化异同的比较。

本册的话题内容包括表达某人正在做某事;了解和谈论自然如介绍植物各部分英语名称、作用用及生长所需条件等;谈论自己或他人的家人以及谈论家庭成员中的各种人物关系;谈论职业既谈论自己和他人将来要从事的职业;谈论旅行、表达在旅行中安排活动时间、地点及交通方式,同时了解当地的特色情况。

配以话题同时呈现了相关的支撑性词汇。

涉及到的语法知识包括正在进行时、一般将来时、一般现在时。

呈现的语音知识主要有字母Q、R、S、T、V、W在单词中的读音,感知拼读规律,建立语音意识。
