我最喜欢的艺术课英语作文80词初中全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Art ClassArt has always been my absolute favorite class in school! I just love being creative and making things with my own two hands. Ever since I was a little kid, I've loved drawing, painting, sculpting with clay or play-doh, and just making all sorts of artistic creations. My parents have boxes and boxes full of my childhood artwork stored away.In elementary school, art class was the highlight of my week.I looked forward to it more than anything! We got to do all sorts of fun projects like making paper bag puppets, painting with watercolors, sculpting little animals or objects out of clay, and so much more. I remember one year we learned about the artist Henri Matisse and made these really cool paper cut-out collages inspired by his artwork. That's actually still one of my favorite projects I've ever done!I was always so proud to bring my artwork home to show my parents. They would hang it up on the fridge or the walls andmake me feel like such a talented little artist. Sometimes they would even take me to art museums and we'd look at all the incredible paintings, sculptures, photographs, and other amazing works of art. I was always in complete awe, dreaming that maybe one day my own artwork could be displayed in a museum too. When I got to middle school, I was so excited to take an actual art class as an official part of my schedule. In 6th grade art, we learned all about the elements of art like line, shape, color, value, texture, form, and space. We did tons of drawing exercises practicing things like contour line drawing, shading, perspective, and more. We also started learning about different artistic movements and styles throughout history. In 7th grade art, we dove deeper into different media like painting with acrylics and oils, sculpting with wire, paper mache, and ceramic clay, and tried our hands at printmaking, collage, and mixed media pieces too. The art rooms were always such a creative, open environment where we could really express ourselves freely. I loved seeing my classmates' unique artwork and the different perspectives and styles everyone had. This year in 8th grade art, we're doing even more complex projects and really honing our skills. We've worked ondeveloping our concentration and breadth sections for our AP portfolios. For my concentration, I chose to do a series ofself-portraits exploring ideas of identity, emotions, and how we perceive ourselves versus how others see us. It's been such a meaningful, introspective journey.I've also discovered a real passion for ceramics and sculpture this year. There's something so grounding and therapeutic about working with clay and creating three-dimensional forms. I've made all sorts of pottery pieces like vases, mugs, bowls, as well as more abstract sculptures. I really admire artists like Barbara Hepworth and Henry Moore who created those gorgeous, organic abstract sculptures. Sculpture has quickly become my favorite medium.Art class isn't just about learning techniques though - it's also about developing our critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, self-expression, and appreciation for art and aesthetics. We have lots of insightful discussions and critiques of our artwork and the works of other famous artists. We talk about the meanings, emotions, and deeper concepts an artist might be trying to convey through their piece. My art teachers have had such a huge impact on me and my love for art too. They've encouraged me to think outside the box, take creative risks, and pour my heart into my artwork. Thanks to their guidance, I've gained so much confidence in my abilities as an artist. I've learned it's not just about technical skill, but about having a unique perspective, a passion for creation, and something meaningful to express through your art. Some of my friends think art class is an easy A and a break from "serious" academics. But I completely disagree! Sure, art is fun and a great creative outlet, but there's so much篇2My Favorite Art ClassOhh art class, where do I even begin? It's like this magical place where crayons and colored pencils come alive on paper. Mrs. Wilkins is the coolest teacher ever and she lets us get super creative and messy (but not too messy of course)!I remember the first day of art class this year. We walked in and there were all these funky paintings hanging up on the walls. Mrs. Wilkins said they were done by famous artists but they just looked like blobs of color to me. She told us not to worry though, that we'd learn all about different styles and techniques. The first project we did was self-portraits. I'm not gonna lie, drawing yourself is really hard! Getting the eyes and mouth right is so tricky. But Mrs. Wilkins helped us and said it's okay if it doesn't look exactly like a photo, the important thing is to have fun with it. I gave myself a huge smile and drew some cool shades on too. When they were all done, we went around the room sharing our portraits. Jacob made himself into a superhero and Emily put a unicorn horn on her head. We all cracked up laughing!Next we learned about shading and how to make things look 3D on a flat surface. I thought it was going to be impossible but Mrs. Wilkins had us start with easy shapes like spheres and cubes. We used pencils and stumps to add highlights and shadows. My sphere ended up looking pretty round! The cubes were a little trickier though. Getting those corners and edges right was tough. Mrs. Wilkins circled the class giving us tips. She told me to make my shadows darker in certain spots. Pretty soon we could make all kinds of 3D objects jump off the page.My favorite project so far though has been painting with watercolors. We learned about colors and how to mix them to get new shades. Did you know that red and blue make purple? Or that yellow and blue make green? It's like magic! We startedoff just making color swatches but then got to paint real pictures.I decided to paint a sunset over the ocean. I mixed orange and yellow for the sun, then blended in pinks, reds, and purples for the sky. For the water, I used blues and greens. Mrs. Wilkins said I captured the reflection of the sky in the water really well. I was so proud! We've done all sorts of other cool stuff too like making clay sculptures, printmaking, collages, you name it. Art class is honestly the best part of my week. It's a place where I can be totally creative and not worry about getting things perfect. Plus, Mrs. Wilkins praises our effort and imagination rather than judging our skills. I've learned it's not about making a masterpiece, it's about expressing yourself and having fun in the process.Sometimes kids make fun of me for liking art so much. They call it a "girl" subject or say it's for little kids who just want to color all day. But I don't care what they think. Art is amazing and important and challenges your brain in unique ways. Not everything has to be about math and reading you know! The world needs creative, out-of-the-box thinkers too.I can't wait to take art again next year and try new mediums. Maybe we'll get to do printmaking or sculpture again. Or oooh, what about batiking or metal work? How cool would that be?! No matter what projects we do, I know I'm going to have a blast being my wacky, artistic self. At the end of the day, art class is my happy place where I can free my mind and just create. Nothing else really matters besides that. So bring on the paints, clay, and anything else Mrs. Wilkins throws our way because this artistic soul is ready!篇3My Favorite Art ClassArt class was always the highlight of my week in middle school. I just loved being able to express myself creatively and forget about all the pressures of regular classes for an hour or two. Mrs. Peterson, our art teacher, was so cool and made the class really fun.One of my favorite art projects was when we learned about abstract art. Mrs. Peterson showed us examples of paintings by Kandinsky, Pollock, and Miró. I was amazed at how they used colors, shapes, and lines in such unique ways. She had us close our eyes and listen to different types of music, letting the melodies and rhythms inspire our brush strokes on the canvas. It was such a freeing experience. When I opened my eyes and looked at my abstract painting, I couldn't believe I had created something so vibrant and full of energy. The colors seemed to be dancing together in harmony. Mrs. Peterson praised my use of bold brush strokes and said I had really captured the essence of the jazzy music we had listened to. I felt so proud!Another memorable project was painting self-portraits. Mrs. Peterson set up an array of mirrors at different angles around the room so we could study our own faces from multiple perspectives. She encouraged us to exaggerate or distort certain features if we wanted to make our portraits more expressive or abstract. Some people gave themselves huge eyes or elongated necks. I decided to make my hair extra wild and curly. As I painted, Mrs. Peterson came over and showed me some cool techniques for blending colors to get more realistic skin tones. Even though my self-portrait ended up being a little stylized, I was happy with how I was able to capture the essence of my facial features. Looking at the finished paintings, it was amazing to see how each person's unique personality shone through their self-portrait.One of the things I really liked about Mrs. Peterson was how she made an effort to celebrate the artistic traditions of differentcultures around the world. For a unit on Aboriginal Australian art, she brought in examples of dot paintings and showed us videos about their symbolic meanings. We each got to make our own dot painting using symbols that were meaningful to us.I chose to incorporate Pacific Northwestern Native American symbols since that's part of my heritage. An eagle feather represented strength, salmon stood for perseverance, and a spiral signified the cycle of nature. Making that dot painting helped me feel more connected to my roots. Mrs. Peterson seemed really impressed with how intricately I had filled every inch of the canvas.Towards the end of each semester, we would have an art showcase night where family and friends could come and view all of the amazing creations we had made. I remember feeling so proud walking around the room, looking at everyone's artwork on display. It was such an affirmation that we were all artists, each with our own unique talents and perspectives to share with the world.Mrs. Peterson always made sure the showcase had a fun, celebratory atmosphere with music playing and light refreshments. During the showcase, she would go around and say a few words of encouragement about each student's body ofwork for the semester. When she got to me, she said she was continuously blown away by my creativity, willingness to experiment, and commitment to each project. Her kind words made me feel so good inside.Art class with Mrs. Peterson wasn't just about making pretty pictures. It was a safe space for self-expression and discovering my artistic voice. Her passion for art was utterly contagious. Thanks to her nurturing guidance, I gained so much confidence in my abilities. Even now when I'm feeling stressed or uninspired, I can tap back into that creative mindset from art class and find my center again through making art. Those hours spent painting, drawing, and sculpting were an oasis of calm in the chaos of middle school. I'll always cherish the skills and mindset I developed in Mrs. Peterson's art class.篇4My Favorite Art ClassArt is my favorite class because I love being creative. In art, we get to paint, draw, sculpt with clay, and make all sorts of cool projects. My favorite project was when we made papier mâché sculptures. It was really messy but so much fun! I made a dragon that I was really proud of. Art class lets me express myself in aunique way. It's a nice break from the more academic subjects. I look forward to art every week - it's my favorite part of school!篇5My Favorite Art ClassArt has always been my favorite class in school. I just love being creative and making things with my hands. Mrs. Thompson is the best art teacher ever too! She's so nice and encouraging, always telling us our art is beautiful even when it's kind of messy.I remember the first day of art class this year, Mrs. Thompson had us go around and say what our favorite kind of art was. I said painting because I love all the colors and how you can mix them together to make new shades. Jake said he liked sculpting with clay the best. Isabelle liked drawing with colored pencils. It was cool to hear what everyone enjoyed. One of my favorite projects we did this year was painting self-portraits. Mrs. Thompson had us all look in a mirror and try to capture what we looked like on the canvas. Mine ended up looking kind of goofy with a huge smile and messy hair. But Mrs. Thompson said she could really see my fun personality shining through, which made me happy.Another awesome project was making ceramic animals. We started with a lump of clay and had to shape it into the animal of our choice. I made a silly looking dog with a long tongue sticking out. Jake made an awesome looking wolf howling at the moon. After we sculpted them, we got to paint them with glazes. I gave my dog bright green spots to make him look really goofy.I also loved the project where we made our own prints using styrofoam plates. We drew designs into the plate with dull pencils and applied ink. Then we pressed paper over top to make cool print patterns. I made a bunch of silly aliens and monsters. Some of the prints came out so vibrant and wild! It was awesome. One of the hardest projects was shading objects to make them look 3D. We had to use pencils and start with an outline, then add layers of shading to make it look like the objects were popping off the page. I chose to draw an apple and it took me forever to get the shading right. Mrs. Thompson helped me a ton though. She's just really good at explaining art concepts in a way that makes sense. My overall favorite project of the year was probably the painted ceiling tiles though. Each student got to decorate a ceiling tile however they wanted using paints, drawings, collages, you name it! I covered mine in a colorful jungle scene with animals and plants. I even wrote encouraging messages around the border. When the tiles were all finished and dry, Mrs. Thompson attached them to the ceiling above our classroom tables. So now every time we look up, we see this cool patchwork of everyone's creative tiles! It's like one massive art piece made up of a little bit from everyone. Seeing my tile on the ceiling amongst everyone else's always makes me smile.Art has seriously been the highlight of my middle school experience so far. Sure, the other classes are important for learning academic stuff. But art is where I get to tap into my imagination and create whatever wacky things I can dream up. It's my favorite way to express myself.Mrs. Thompson says art is all about passion, creativity and finding joy through making things. I fully agree! Anytime I'm feeling stressed or down, I can take out my sketchpad and markers and instantly feel better as I start drawing. Art is my happy place for sure.I'm so grateful my school has such an awesome art program and a teacher like Mrs. Thompson who really "gets" kids and knows how to nurture our creative spirits. She makes art classfeel like a fun escape from the pressures of all our other classes and just lets us be ourselves through our artwork. I seriously can't wait for art class each week!I really hope I'll be able to take art all through high school too. Maybe I'll even get to be a real artist someday! For now though, I'm just enjoying being a kid and making art for fun. Everyone should take an art class because it's honestly just an awesome way to express yourself and be creative. Art makes me happy and that's why it will always be my favorite!篇6My Favorite Art ClassArt has always been one of my favorite subjects in school. There's just something so freeing about being able to express yourself through colors, shapes, and textures. My favorite art class was the one I took in 7th grade with Ms. Jenkins. That whole year was just magical!Ms. Jenkins was the coolest art teacher ever. She had this wild, curly hair that seemed to have a life of its own and she always wore the craziest outfits – like she pulled random items out of the back of her closet. But I loved her fun and relaxed vibe. She never got upset if we got a little messy with the paints or clay. "Art is meant to be messy!" she would say with a laugh. The classroom itself was like a creative paradise. The walls were covered in student artwork from past years. There were bins overflowing with every art supply you could imagine –paints, pastels, markers, colored pencils, charcoal, you name it. Ms. Jenkins even had a pottery wheel and kiln in the back room for when we worked with clay.In that class, we got to try out so many different types of art forms. We started the year with drawing, using pencils, charcoal, and pastels to sketch still life scenes, portraits, and landscapes. I loved working with the charcoal and smudging it around to create different shapes and shadows. My favorite drawing was probably the one I did of my dog Rufus. I spent hours getting his shaggy fur just right.Next we moved into painting with watercolors and acrylics. Watercolors were my absolute favorite – I loved how the colors blended together in cool patterns. For one project, we had to paint landscapes inspired by famous artists like Monet or Van Gogh. I tried to copy Monet's famous water lily painting, and although mine looked like it was done by a child, I was still proud of my little water lilies. After that, we sculpted with polymer clay and did a clay pot on the pottery wheel, which was harder than I expected! My pot ended up looking a bit lopsided, but I didn't care. Ms. Jenkins fired it in the kiln and I used it as a pencil holder for years after.Towards the end of the year, we did some more mixed media types of projects. We made collages out of magazine clippings, drawings, photos, and just about anything we wanted to include. We also did these cool pieces where we took objects from nature like sticks, leaves, and flowers and arranged them into art inside a picture frame. Seeing the beautiful designs we could create out of simple natural objects was so neat.My favorite project of the entire year, though, had to be the life-sized self-portraits we did right at the end. Ms. Jenkins had us all lay down on these huge rolls of paper and trace our bodies. Then we had to decorate the outlined shapes to look just like ourselves - with our clothing, hair, accessories, and any other personal details. I spent weeks shading in my frizzy hair, my favorite ripped jeans, the charm bracelet I always wore. When they were all finished, we hung the life-sized self-portraits all around the classroom. It was so awesome to see ourselves larger than life up on those walls! That whole year, I looked forward to art class more than any other. Ms. Jenkins' creativity and passion for art really rubbed off on all of us students. She pushed us to think outside the box and not be afraid to get weird with our art. Anything went in her classroom, as long as we were using our imaginations. By the end of that year, I felt like a more confident artist who wasn't scared to take risks and try new mediums.Even though I'm not planning to be a professional artist when I grow up, that 7th grade art class gave me such an appreciation for creativity and self-expression. Whenever I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed nowadays, I still like to doodle or watercolor for fun - it's such a relaxing way to clear my mind. Thanks to Ms. Jenkins, art will always hold a special place in my heart. Her class was truly a masterpiece!。

我最喜欢的艺术课程英语作文,最简单的心My Favorite Art ClassArt class is the best! It's definitely my favorite part of the whole school day. I always get so excited when it's time for art because I know we're going to make something really cool and have a lot of fun doing it.Our art teacher, Mr. Martinez, is amazing. He's really nice and funny, and he always has these awesome ideas for projects we can work on. He says things like "Let's get those creative juices flowing!" and "Don't hold back - express yourselves!" I love how he lets us use so many different art supplies and materials to make our creations. One of my favorite art projects we did this year was painting with watercolors. Mr. Martinez had us start by just experimenting - making different brush strokes, mixing colors, seeing how the paint reacts when you add more or less water. Once we got the hang of it, he told us to paint whatever we wanted on our paper.I decided to paint a huge, colorful octopus! I made the body with lots of swirly purple and blue patterns, and then added all these long, stretchy tentacles reaching out in every direction with funshapes and dots on them. When it was done, my octopus looked so cool and vibrant!Another awesome project was when we made sculptures out of clay. We started by just rolling and shaping the clay into different forms to practice. Then Mr. Martinez had us plan out a sculpture of our favorite animal. I chose to make a big gorilla! First I made the body out of this big clay lump, and then I added legs, arms, a head, and other details bit by bit. Shaping all the particulars like the face, hands, and feet was my favorite part. When my gorilla sculpture was finally done, I glazed it and it looked so realistic! Getting to paint our finished clay sculptures was really fun too.For our latest art project, we are working with pastels and oil pastels. First we learned different techniques for blending and shading with the pastels. Then we started drawing still life scenes of objects Mr. Martinez had set up around the classroom. I'm drawing a huge bushel of fruit like apples, oranges, bananas, and grapes. I've been using the side of the pastels to cover big areas with streaky color, and then using the tips to add details and texture. My fruit scene is still a work in progress but it's looking super realistic so far!I love art class because we get to work with so many cool art materials and try out all sorts of different techniques like painting, sculpting, drawing, and more. But what I like most of all is how we get to use our creativity and make anything we can imagine. Whenever we start a new project, Mr. Martinez tells us "Don't be afraid to experiment and make it your own!" I always get so excited to just go wild and see what I can create next.Art class is also great because Mr. Martinez makes it really fun and not just all serious work. Sometimes he'll put on music for us to listen to while we work. Other times he has us take breaks to do fun artsy games or activities. My favorite is when he has us do the "arty party" where we all dance around the room for a few minutes whenever he plays a certain song. It really helps me feel creative and energized to come back to working on my project after that!Another thing I love is when we get to share our finished artwork with the rest of the class. Mr. Martinez always has us do an "artist spotlight" at the end where we can show off our masterpieces. We all line up our projects at the front of the room, and then each person gets to go up and talk about what materials we used, the inspiration behind our idea, and anything else we want to say about our artwork. I love seeing how creativeand unique everyone's projects turn out. And I feel so proud getting to be in the spotlight and hear my classmates' compliments on my hard work!Overall, art class is just the highlight of my whole week at school. Win or lose, good day or bad day, I know I'll always leave art feeling accomplished, proud of my creativity, and just overall happier. I've learned so many valuable skills like being creative, patient, spontaneous, and expressive. Plus, I've gotten to learn about so many famous artists and artworks that inspire my own projects. Sometimes I'll spend extra time after class or at home drawing, painting, or sculpting just for fun.I really hope I can continue taking art classes all through school because it's my biggest passion. Who knows, maybe I'll even become a professional artist or art teacher someday! I'd love to spend my career being creative and helping others discover the joy of art like Mr. Martinez has done for me. For now though, I'm just cherishing every second of my favorite art class!。

英语作文我最喜欢的科目优秀范文

英语作文我最喜欢的科目优秀范文

英语作文我最喜欢的科目优秀范文My Favorite SubjectSchool is pretty fun most of the time, but my favorite part is definitely my science class! I just love science so much. Whenever it's time for science, I get really excited. Science is just so interesting and there's always something new to learn and discover. In science, we get to do all sorts of cool experiments and activities. Just the other day, we made these neat little hovercrafts out of CDs, balloons, and bottle caps. We blew up the balloons and attached them to the CDs with the bottle caps, and then let them go - they actually hovered above our desks for a little while! It was so awesome. Our teacher said it worked because of the air pressure pushing down on the CD from the balloon. Very clever.Another time, we made these awesome volcano models out of clay, baking soda, and vinegar. We shaped little mountains out of the clay, put some baking soda in the top, and then poured vinegar into the baking soda. It fizzed up like crazy and overflowed out of the volcano! Our teacher told us that was because of a chemical reaction between the baking soda andvinegar. Apparently they produce a gas when they're combined like that. It looked just like a real volcano erupting. I could watch that experiment all day!I love all the hands-on stuff we get to do in science. But I also really enjoy learning about how the world works through our textbooks and lessons. Last semester, we spent a whole unit studying the solar system and outer space. I thought it was so fascinating learning about all the different planets - their names, how big they are, what they're made of, how far away they are from the Sun. My favorite planet is definitely Saturn because of its super cool rings. I also loved finding out about stars, galaxies, comets, and other incredible things in the cosmos.Do you know what a black hole is? It's this crazy thing in space that has such intense gravity that nothing can escape from it, not even light! They form when really massive stars explode at the end of their lives. Just thinking about something like that totally blows my mind. The universe is filled with such weird and amazing phenomena. I want to learn all about them when I grow up.But of course, it's not just space stuff that's awesome in science class. We also study all kinds of other topics, like the human body, plants, animals, weather, and the environment. Lastweek, we learned how the heart pumps blood all around our bodies. Did you know the heart is actually a muscle? An incredibly hard-working one too - it's always pumping 24/7 to keep us alive. Our bodies are like these intricate machines with so many different interconnected parts. It's all quite remarkable when you think about it.Speaking of the environment, I really care a lot about taking care of our planet Earth. In science, we've been learning how important it is to reduce, reuse, and recycle. We've also talked about things like deforestation, pollution, climate change, and endangered species. It makes me feel sad that we humans have caused so much damage to the natural world. But I'm hopeful because we've also learned about ways we can help, like using less plastic, driving and flying less, and planting more trees. I really want to do my part to protect the Earth and make it a healthier place for everyone. My absolute favorite thing about science though is just how many questions there are to explore. Every time we finish learning about one topic, there are a million other questions that come up about other things. Like, why is the sky blue? What makes magnets work? How do airplanes stay up in the air? Where do rocks come from? What are dreams? Why do we gethiccups? The quest for knowledge is truly never-ending in science. There's always some new mystery to unravel and puzzle to solve. That's what makes it all so endlessly fascinating to me.I have so many dreams for my future and a big part of them involve science in some way. Maybe I'll be an astronaut and travel to the Moon, Mars, or beyond. How amazing would that be? Or perhaps I'll become a medical scientist and find cures for diseases. Orrrrrr, I could be a marine biologist and discover a new species of shark or whale. Or maybe even an engineer who designs super-fast spaceships and planes. Heck, why can't I do all those things? A girl can dream! At the very least, I know for sure I want to keep learning and reading as much as I can about science topics. I'll never get tired of finding out new facts about how the world works. Whenever I learn something new in science class, I make sure to go home and tell my parents all about it at dinner. Sometimes my little brother gets annoyed because I ramble on and on. But my parents always listen closely and ask me lots of follow-up questions. They're really supportive of my passion for science.Well, I could honestly keep going on and on about science all day. But I suppose I should wrap this up so I can go play outside for a bit before dinnertime. Just know that I absolutelylove science with my whole heart. It's hard to put into words how amazing it is to me. I feel so fortunate that I get to learn about it every single day at school. Not everyone is as interested in science as I am, and that's okay. We all have our own things that excite us. But for me, science will always be number one. The greatest subject there is. It's endless joy and endless curiosity all rolled into one. I can't wait to see what other incredible wonders I'll get to discover over the years ahead!。

It is a space where I can explore, create, and discover without limitations. Art class has enriched my life in more ways than I can count, and for that, it will always hold a special place in my heart. I am grateful for the opportunity tolearn and grow as an artist in this inspiring and nurturing environment.。

讨论并介绍你喜欢的课程英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Class at SchoolHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 4th grader at Oakwood Elementary. Today I want to tell you all about my very favorite class at school. Can you guess what it is? It's English class! I just love English so much. It's the best subject ever in my opinion.Let me explain why English is so awesome. First of all, we get to read the coolest books and stories during English time. My teacher Mrs. Martin always picks really fun and exciting books for us to read as a class. We just finished this hilarious book called Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing about this crazy family with a younger brother named Fudge who is always getting into mischief. It was so funny and we all loved it!During our read-alouds, Mrs. Martin always does amazing voices for each character. When she was reading the part of Fudge, she'd use this high-pitched, whiny little kid voice that cracked us up every time. And for the parents, she'd use theseserious, strict grown-up voices. Her acting skills are justtop-notch. I don't know how she does it!After we finish reading a book together, we get to discuss it and share our thoughts and opinions. Mrs. Martin asks us questions to get us thinking more deeply about the characters, the plot, the themes and lessons, and more. I really enjoy analyzing books this way and hearing what my classmates have to say. Some of them have such insightful observations that I never even considered before! When we're not reading novels, we often read short stories, poems, and other little snippets during English class too. Poetry is my personal favorite. I love trying to interpret the deeper meanings and messages behind the carefully crafted words and phrases. It's like trying to solve a fun little puzzle or word game. Although sometimes the old-fashioned language in poems can be pretty confusing, I don't mind. It just makes cracking the code even more satisfying!Writing is another major part of English class that I adore. We've worked on all different types of writing like stories, reports, persuasive essays, and more. I really enjoy flexing my creativity when we get to write fiction stories. I can let my imagination runwild as I construct crazy plots and zany characters. It's like getting to create my own little world made of words! One of the highlights for me is when we get to write and perform our own scripts and mini plays. We get into small groups and each person writes a part. Then we memorize our lines and act it out in front of the class. It's always hysterical watching my friends and classmates bring their characters to life through voice and movement. I get a huge kick out of it!English class has also helped me become a much stronger reader and writer overall. I used to struggle with reading comprehension, but now I'm a pro at identifying the main ideas, inferring the author's purpose, making predictions, and analyzing literary elements like setting, characters, and conflict. My vocabulary has grown tons by studying those tricky vocab words each week too.As for writing, my grammar, spelling, and overall writer's craft have all improved tremendously. I can write clear,well-organized paragraphs now instead of just rambling on and on without any structure. Learning about stuff like thesis statements, topic sentences, and conclusions has been super helpful. My wacky stories have even gotten way more polished and descriptive! You know what else is cool about English? We get to play some really fun skill-building games too! Sometimes we'll have contests to see who can make the longest list ofwords from a certain blend like "str" or who can come up with the most persuasive or descriptive phrases using our vocab words. We might have little team competitions to review concepts or prep for tests too. Games make learning feel much more like play than work.I also love that we get to use our creativity in English for fun hands-on projects and activities beyond just reading and writing. For instance, we once made these humongous illustrative posters highlighting the most important events, characters, and themes from a novel we read together. We got to use all kinds of cool materials like colored pencils, markers, glitter, pipe cleaners, and more. It was a blast!Another time, we each made and decorated our own mini book containing our absolute favorite poems, songs, excerpts, and even our own original writing pieces. We bound the pages together using yarn and covered the front and back with colorful construction paper and drawings. It was such a neat way to compile some of our best work from throughout the year into one keepsake booklet.Last but not least, I love my English teacher Mrs. Martin! She is simply the best. She has a way of making every lesson fun, engaging, and interesting. She also gives the mostthought-provoking assignments that really make you think outside the box. Yet at the same time, she's nurturing, patient, and so easy to talk to. We can ask her anything and she'll kindly explain it further or offer guidance.Mrs. Martin obviously has a true passion for books, writing, and language itself that she wants to share with her students. You can tell she genuinely cares about each of us and wants us to succeed. She's always encouraging us to keep trying our best, have confidence in ourselves, and not be afraid to take creative risks. Having an awesome teacher like her is a huge part of why I love English class so darn much!Well, those are the main reasons why English is by far my favorite subject in the entire world. Between all the interesting readings, cool creative writing activities, vocabulary-building exercises, skill-sharpening games, and just amazingly fun teacher, what's not to love? English class is where I get to exercise my brain power while also letting my imagination andself-expression shine! So in conclusion, if you're one of those people who dislikes or struggles with English, I highly recommend giving it another shot. Maybe you just haven't had the right teacher or learned in quite the right way for you yet. But English is such an important life skill for communicating effectively through writing and speaking. Not to mention, it opens the doors to all these incredible stories, poems, plays, and other great works of literature. Why wouldn't you want to dive into that wonderful world of words? Those are just my thoughts as a rambunctious and rambling 4th grade English lover. Let me know if you need any other convincing reasons why English is simply the best! I could probably keep gushing about it all day. Thanks for reading my essay, and happy reading, writing, and word-nerding to all!篇2My Favorite ClassHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm 10 years old. I love going to school and learning new things every day. We have lots of different classes like math, science, art, and gym. But do you know what my very favorite class is? English! I absolutely love English class. Let me tell you all about it.English is the best because we get to read the most awesome stories and books. Just this year, we read Charlotte's Web, which is about this super cool spider named Charlotte who is friends with a pig named Wilbur. Charlotte is really smart and uses her web to spin words篇3My Favorite Class is ArtHi there! My name is Emma and I'm going to tell you all about my favorite class at school – art! I just love art class so much. It's the best part of my week and I look forward to it every single time.Art is my favorite because I love being creative and making things with my hands. In art, we can draw, paint, sculpt clay, do collages and all sorts of fun crafty projects. I really like how there aren't too many rules in art. As long as you try your best and use your imagination, your art will turn out great. My art teacher, Mrs. Roberts, always says "There is no wrong way to make art!"One of my favorite things we did in art this year was painting with water colors. We learned how to mix the paints to create any color we wanted. I made a really pretty painting of a sunset over the ocean. I used yellow, orange and red paints and blendedthem together on the paper. It looked just like a real sunset! I was so proud of how it turned out. Mrs. Roberts hung it up in the hallway at school so everyone could see it. Whenever I walked by, I felt like a famous artist!Another awesome art project was when we made pinch pots out of clay. A pinch pot is a little bowl or container that you shape just by pinching the clay with your fingers. It was so cool to take a lump of squishy gray clay and form it into a bowl or a little animal figure. I made a pinch pot in the shape of an elephant! After they dried, we got to paint our pinch pots with colorful glazes. Mine had blue, green and purple glazes all swirled together. It looked so pretty after it was fired in the kiln. My mom uses it to hold her rings and bracelets on her dresser. One of the reasons I love art so much is because it helps me express my feelings in a creative way. Sometimes if I'm feeling sad or upset about something, making art makes me feel much better. It's like the brushstrokes, colors, and shapes help me get out my emotions. And when I'm feeling happy, I can put that happiness right into my artwork through bright colors and patterns. No matter how I'm feeling, art is my outlet. In art class, we don't just make projects though. We also learn about famous artists and their work. My favorite artist thatwe studied was Claude Monet. He was a French painter who was one of the founders of the Impressionism art movement in the 1800s. Impressionist painters tried to show how light flickered and shimmered on objects to capture a moment or impression of a scene.Monet painted so many beautiful landscapes and gardens. My favorite Monet painting is called Water Lilies and Willow Branches. It's a huge canvas that is just filled with vibrant greens, blues, pinks and purples all blending together. It's a picture of the lily pond in Monet's garden in France. The water looks like it's shimmering in the sunlight. It's so pretty and peaceful. I would love to have that painting hanging in my room!Learning about artists like Monet shows me that being an artist is a real job and not just a hobby. I definitely want to be an artist when I grow up! There are so many different careers you can have if you study art – you could be a painter, sculptor, graphic designer, art teacher, illustrator, and so much more. I'm going to keep taking as many art classes as I can because I know it will help me reach my dream. Not only is art fun and creative, but it also teaches you important skills like being patient, paying attention to details, thinking critically, and having an open mind. Whenever we startan art project, Mrs. Roberts reminds us that art takes time and we have to keep trying even when it's hard. She says "Good art doesn't happen with just one brushstroke!" That's helped me learn how to be patient and keep working at something until I get it right.Art also helps you see things from a new perspective. Like with the Impressionist painters, they looked at the world in a different way than other artists at that time. So art pushes you to think outside the box and notice details you might usually overlook. It makes you keep an open mind and think creatively. Those are such good lessons to learn!Well, those are all the reasons why art is my absolute favorite class. I love being able to express myself, get creative, learn about amazing artists from history, and work on developing important life skills. If you've never taken an art class before, I think you totally should! It brings me so much joy and happiness. Whenever I'm painting, drawing or sculpting, I get completely lost in the artistic process. For those couple hours during art class, nothing else matters except the colors, shapes and images I'm creating. It's like entering a whole other world!I really can't say enough about how great art class is. I've made so many wonderful projects that I'm proud of and learneda ton too. Art is a huge part of my life and who I am. I don't know what I would do without it! I'm definitely going to be the kid walking around school with paintings tucked under my arm. Maybe I'll end up being a famous artist myself one day. But for now, I'm just happy being a young artist discovering my creativity in my favorite class – art!篇4My Favorite Subjects at SchoolSchool is so much fun! I love going every day and learning new things. My favorite part is definitely my classes and the different subjects we get to study. I have a few favorite subjects that I really enjoy and look forward to.My number one favorite subject is science! I love science class so much. We get to do all kinds of cool experiments and learn about how the world works. Last week, we made little volcanoes out of modeling clay, baking soda, and vinegar, and got to watch them erupt. It was awesome! The week before that, we learned about the different planets in our solar system and got to make models of them out of playdoh. I made Saturn because I love the cool rings it has.Science is just so fascinating to me. I'm really curious about nature and the universe and science helps explain it all. I could spend hours reading science books or watching videos about black holes, tsunamis, photosynthesis, you name it! My dream is to become a scientist when I grow up so I can make new discoveries and inventions. Maybe I'll find a new planet or a cure for a disease. How cool would that be?Another subject I absolutely love is art class. I'm a really creative person and art allows me to express myself in so many fun ways. My favorite thing is painting because I love playing with all the colors and making different designs and patterns. But I also enjoy drawing, sculpting with clay, and making all sorts of crafts too.In art class last month, we learned about the artist Piet Mondrian who created these really neat grid paintings using just red, blue, yellow, and black lines and rectangles. They looked so simple but also really modern and beautiful. We got to create our own Mondrian-inspired artworks which was a blast. I made mine using shades of green instead of the primary colors.I also really like how there's no "right" or "wrong" way to do art, at least not usually. You can create whatever your imagination comes up with. Art lets me tap into my creativity andjust have fun making whatever I want without worries. I keep all my art projects in a special portfolio so I can look back at them when I'm older. My third favorite subject is probably history, believe it or not!I know a lot of kids think history is really boring, but I find it super interesting learning about all the different times, places, and people in the past. It's like looking through a window to see how life used to be centuries ago. Some of it was quite strange and bizarre compared to today! We recently learned all about ancient Egypt, which was definitely one of the coolest units. I loved seeing the photos and drawings of the gigantic pyramids, majestic pharaohs, hieroglyphics, mummies, and all the crazy gods they worshipped like Anubis with a jackal head. We even got to mummify a teddy bear which I thought was really fun, even if it was a bit creepy.Another awesome history unit was when we studied the pioneers and the Oregon Trail. We loaded up a simulated wagon and had to make decisions along the trail about things like rationing food, fording rivers, and what to do if someone got cholera or a broken leg. It was like a giant adventure game and really made you appreciate how tough life must have been back then. Those are definitely my top three favorite subjects in school - science, art, and history. But really, I enjoy just about every class (well, maybe not math quite as much). School is so cool because you get to learn about essentially everything - the world around you, how to be creative, what happened before you were born, and so much more. I'm just a super curious kid who wants to soak up as much knowledge as I can. Bring on the learning!篇5My Favorite Subjects in SchoolHi there! I'm really excited to tell you about my favorite subjects in school. Learning is so much fun and there are so many cool things we get to study. I can't wait to share with you why I love these classes! My absolute favorite is science class. I find science fascinating because it's all about discovering how the world works through experiments and observations. We get to do all sorts of fun hands-on activities and learn about everything from animals to outer space. Just last week, we did an experiment where we made little volcanoes erupt with baking soda and vinegar. It was amazing to see the "lava" bubbling over! I also love learning about dinosaurs and fossils. Can you imagine howincredible it would be to find a real dinosaur bone? I think being a paleontologist and digging up prehistoric creatures would be the best job ever.Another subject I really enjoy is art class. I love being creative and working with different materials like clay, paint, and colored pencils. Whenever I'm feeling happy, sad, or anything in between, art allows me to express those emotions however I want to. My favorite projects are when we get to work with clay and sculpt different figures and shapes. I made the most adorable little dog sculpture a few months ago. I was so proud of how it turned out!I also really like painting and mixing colors to create new beautiful shades. Art class is my favorite time to let my imagination run wild.Reading is another passion of mine, which is why I get so excited for language arts. Our teacher reads us the most engaging stories about adventure, fantasy worlds, and characters going on exciting journeys. Getting lost in the plots of novels is like taking a trip to somewhere new and magical without even leaving the classroom. I recently read this great book about a boy who finds a wardrobe that leads to a wintery land called Narnia filled with talking animals and mythical creatures. It was such a creative and thrilling tale! During ourlessons, we also work on creative writing activities where we can craft our own stories. I love letting my creativity flow and coming up with imaginative plots and characters. Maybe I'll be an author when I grow up!Math is a subject that can be challenging at times, but I actually find it really interesting and fun once you get the hang of it. There's something satisfying about solving a tricky problem and getting the right answer. It's almost like cracking a secret code! My favorite units are geometry and working with shapes and numbers. Did you know that a triangle has 180 degrees? Or that the smallest prime number is 2? Learning about all the unique properties and patterns of numbers is fascinating to me. Math might not be everyone's favorite, but I enjoy the critical thinking it requires.P.E. is definitely one of the highlights of my school week. I have so much energy, so getting to run around and be active is the perfect way to take a break from sitting at my desk. Our class recently started a basketball unit and I'm loving practicing dribbling and shooting. There's nothing better than scoring a basket! I also get really excited when we get to play games like dodgeball, capture the flag, or even just having free time on the playground to climb, swing, and play tag with my friends.Getting some exercise helps me concentrate better when it's time to head back to the classroom.Even though subjects like history and grammar can sometimes seem a little dry, I've learned to appreciate how important they are. Understanding the past through history helps us learn from the mistakes and achievements of those who came before us. And grammar is key for communicating clearly whether you're writing a paper or story. No matter the subject, I try my best to be a great student!Well, those are some of my favorite parts of the school day. Getting to learn about so many different topics that interest me makes education an incredibly enriching experience. I feel very lucky to have teachers who make lessons engaging and opportunities to grow my knowledge on a wide variety of subjects. School keeps me curious and excited about acquiring new skills. Maybe I'll become a scientist, artist, author, or athlete when I grow up - or maybe even try a career that combines everything! For now, I'll just embrace being a student and soak up as much as I can. There's a big world out there to explore and learn about. Thanks for letting me share my passion for my favorite subjects!。

你最喜欢的科目及原因英语作文初中全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Subject: English and Why I Love ItIf you asked me what my favorite subject in school is, I would answer without hesitation – English! I just love everything about it – reading great novels and short stories, analyzing poetry and plays, writing creative stories and essays, and even breaking down sentences to study grammar. English class is always the highlight of my day.I think one of the main reasons I love English so much is because of my 8th grade English teacher, Mrs. Johnson. She has a true passion for literature and writing that is absolutely contagious. You can't help but get excited about the books and topics she teaches because of the way she presents them. She doesn't just have us read books, she really delves into the deeper meanings, themes, and life lessons within the pages.Like when we read To Kill a Mockingbird earlier this year. Most teachers probably would have just had us read the book, take a test on the plot points, and move on. But not Mrs. Johnson.First, she had us watch the classic film version of the novel so we could truly visualize the characters and settings as we read the book. Then, she had us keep journals from different characters' perspectives as we progressed through the reading. We also had Socratic seminar discussions analyzing the motifs of courage, injustice, morality that run through the story. By the time we finished the unit, we didn't just understand the plot of Mockingbird, we really grasped the profound messages Harper Lee wove into her writing about racism, integrity, and standing up for what's right. I feel like I grew as a person from that experience. That's just one example, but Mrs. Johnson brings that level of insight and creativity to every unit we cover – from Shakespeare's plays to analyzing poetry to writing our own personal narratives. English just never feels like drudgery in her class. There's always a new way of looking at things, a fresh perspective to explore. I get so much more out of the readings, writings, and class discussions than I ever could by just reading a book and answering comprehension questions.Of course, part of the reason I excel in English is because reading and writing have always come naturally to me. For as long as I can remember, I've loved getting lost in books andmaking up my own creative stories. I was the little kid who would re-read the Harry Potter series multiple times and beg for more books instead of toys for gifts. My parents liked to joke that they were going to have to re-shingle the roof with all the books I went through.I think having a knack for language and storytelling gave me an advantage in English at a young age that just caused it to click for me more than other subjects. With each year, my reading comprehension, writing abilities, and vocabulary just continued growing and compounding. Soon, English went from just being fun to an outright strength that made me a confident student in that arena. And now in middle school, that confidence has enabled me to take more academic risks in English like writing creative poetry, performing monologues from plays, and even entering writing competitions. I would have been way too shy and self-conscious to attempt those kinds of challenges when I was younger. But now I see them as opportunities to challenge myself, get feedback, and take my skills to the next level. That's not to say English is easy for me. Writing awell-structured five paragraph essay in timed conditions is still immensely difficult. Analyzing deeper symbolic meanings innovels and poems requires much re-reading and critical thinking. And don't even get me started on trying to define pronoun cases and navigate the crazy exceptions in English grammar! There's always more to learn. But that's what I love most about English – its complexity and depth provides endless opportunities to acquire new communication skills. It's a subject where you're never truly "done" learning because language is always evolving. This keeps it engaging and provides achievable-yet-challenging goals to continually work toward, which I find incredibly motivating. My other academic subjects like math, science, and history are also important, and I work hard in those classes too. But for me, there will always be something special about English class. It's where I get to freely explore ideas through stories, express myself through writing, and witness the incredible ways skilled authors use the English language to capture universal human experiences. In an increasingly technology-driven world, I believe having strong communication skills and a firm grasp on reading and writing will only become more essential. So while my friends' favorite subjects may be things like P.E. or computer programming, mine will always be English. To me, it's not just the academic study of literature and language. It's agateway to understanding ourselves and the incredible world around us through powerful storytelling and self-expression. English allows us to not only comprehend ideas, emotions, and experiences – but to create entirely new realities with nothing but 26 letters of the alphabet. That's a pretty amazing superpower if you ask me. And one I plan to keep developing and honing for many years to come.篇2My Favorite Subject: Why I Love English ClassEnglish has always been my favorite subject in school for as long as I can remember. I find the entire process of learning languages absolutely fascinating. The way words can be strung together to create beautiful lyrics, compelling stories, or persuasive arguments is just incredible to me. While math, science, and other subjects are incredibly important, English allows us to explore our creativity and engage with our humanity in a unique way.I still vividly remember my very first English class back in elementary school. Even though we were just learning basic vocabulary and simple sentences, I was enthralled. Discovering how to express myself in a new language opened up a wholenew world for me. Those first few years of reading simple books, learning about proper grammar, and Writing my first paragraphs ignited a passion for English that has only grown stronger over time.As I've progressed through middle school, English has become even more engaging and rewarding. We've moved past just the fundamentals to analyze literature, study different writing styles, and explore more advanced language concepts. English class simultaneously allows me to be creative through writing assignments while also challenging me to think critically when we discuss novels, poems, or essays. No other subject provides that same blend of analytical and artistic expression. One aspect I particularly love about English is that it acts as a window into the human experience across cultures and time periods. Through the books, stories, and texts we study, I get to explore different philosophies, histories, and perspectives in a very personal way. For example, reading the plays of Shakespeare showed me the incredible complexity of human emotion and societal commentary an author can convey through clever wordplay and metaphor. Works like The Outsiders and To Kill A Mockingbird opened my eyes to experiences vastlydifferent from my own surrounding topics like social injustice and loneliness. On the other hand, a novel like The Kite Runner connected me to a culture halfway across the world in a way no textbook could. I'm always amazed by how authors have the power to make me experience the entire range of human feelings - joy, sadness, hope, anger, love - just through their purposeful selection of words on a page. English gives me that profound exposure to the most fundamental element of our shared humanity: the ability to communicate our experiences in a way that transcends individual cultures and time periods.Beyond just reading literature, my English classes have helped me become a stronger writer and communicator overall. It was definitely a challenge at first to learn how to effectively structure paragraphs, use proper grammar, and develop a clear thesis. However, the steady process of planning, drafting, and revising essay after essay has turned me into a much more confident and capable writer.I've had to learn how to look at my own writing critically in order to identify areas for improvement. Composing argumentative essays in particular has pushed me to articulate my thoughts in a logical, nuanced way while providing solidevidence to support my claims. The research and organizational skills I've developed will undoubtedly prove invaluable as I move into higher education and the working world.Looking back, I can't believe how much my writing abilities have progressed from those first clumsy paragraphs in 3rd grade. What used to feel like an unwieldy and confusing task is now a way for me to incisively convey even complex ideas through the written word. I know my experiences practicing all kinds of writing -- persuasive, narrative, expository, and more -- in my English classes have played a huge role in that growth. One of the reasons I've especially appreciated my English teachers over the years is how they've encouraged us to discuss and dissect the material as a class. Our analyses of texts never take the author's work at face value, but dig deeper into the thematic meanings, contexts, and implications underlying the language. I've learned how to look at literature and writing with a critical eye to unpack the many layers and nuances an author has consciously or unconsciously embedded in their work.Rather than lecturing at us, my English teachers have fostered an environment of curiosity where we students can sharpen one another's insights through open discussion and debate. Whether we're doing a close reading of LangstonHughes' poetry or examining rhetorical strategies in presidential speeches, I always leave class with a new perspective I hadn't initially considered. The ability to thoughtfully discuss abstract concepts and wrestle with ambiguous questions is a vital skill I've developed thanks to my English classes.Ultimately, English is my favorite subject because it acts as a constant gateway to understanding the human experience in all its complexity. The ability to powerfully and articulately communicate through writing and language is an incredibly valuable tool in any career or life path. As I look ahead to my final years of high school and beyond, I know English will remain tremendously relevant and engaging no matter what field I decide to pursue.Whether it's analyzing dense philosophical texts, giving persuasive presentations, writing reports and proposals, or simply appreciating beautiful poetry, having a strong command of the English language and its intricacies will serve me immensely. While other subjects like math or physics follow rigid logical rules based on fact and formula, language is a living, breathing concept that constantly morphs and evolves based on how we constantly reinterpret it through our creativity and perspective. To me, that dynamism is what makes English equal parts challenging and rewarding. There's always more to learn about how we can wield language to understand ourselves and the world around us just a little bit better. It's that exciting,never-ending journey of discovery that has made English my favorite subject throughout my educational career so far. Even if I don't ultimately decide on a career directly tied to writing or literature, I know the skills I've developed in my English classes will help me become a more well-rounded critical thinker and articulate communicator no matter where life takes me. And for that, I'll always be grateful for the enriching role English has played in my intellectual and creative development over the years.篇3My Favorite Subject: Why I Love English ClassEnglish has always been my favorite subject in school for as long as I can remember. I just have this natural affinity for it that makes it feel less like work and more like a fun puzzle to solve. Don't get me wrong, I know English class can be really hard sometimes with all the reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar rules we have to learn. But there's just somethingabout it that clicks for me in a way that other subjects don't always do.I think one of the biggest reasons I love English so much is because of my English teacher, Ms. Roberts. She just has this way of making even the most boring topics interesting and engaging. Instead of just lecturing at us, she gets us involved through group activities, debates, acting out scenes from books, and all sorts of interactive lessons. She also relates a lot of the material to our own lives and interests as middle schoolers. For example, when we learned about persuasive writing techniques, she had us analyze ads and viral videos aimed at people our age. It made those writing concepts seem a lot more applicable to our world.Ms. Roberts also worked hard to help me see English not just as a subject, but as a amazing tool for communication andself-expression. With writing assignments, she encouraged us to find our unique voices and styles. She celebrated when our personalities shined through instead of giving us a formulaic way to write. And when studying literature, she had us explore the deeper meanings, symbolism, and emotions the authors tried to convey. It wasn't just about comprehending the plot, but understanding the human experience behind the words. That's one of the things I appreciate most about English - how it allows me to connect with people across cultures, time periods, and walks of life through the power of language and storytelling. Literature has opened my eyes to so many different perspectives I never would have considered before. From reading The Diary of Anne Frank to poems by Maya Angelou to short stories by Sandra Cisneros, I've been able to look through windows into experiences vastly different from my own. It's helped me become more empathetic and socially aware. At the same time, studying English has also enabled me to look inward and understand myself better. Whether it's through self-reflective writing prompts, analyzing the motivations of a complex character, or dissecting themes about identity and growing up, English class consistently pushes me to explore my own thoughts, feelings, and values. I've become a more critical thinker and a better communicator because of the skills I've developed in English. Not only can I argue a position more articulately, but I can see things from multiple angles before making up my mind.English also appeals to the creative side of my brain in a way that other subjects don't always allow. Whether I'm writing a descriptive essay, crafting a short story, or interpreting poetry, there's an artistic flow I get into that is energizing for me. Using language almost like a paintbrush to sketch imagery and convey emotion is a form of creative expression that I truly enjoy. And when I can tap into that creative mindset, everything from vocabulary to metaphors just seems to click.Even the more analytical parts of English like grammar and literary analysis light up different corners of my brain that love puzzles and patterns. Trying to diagram a really complex sentence is like a code I get to decrypt. And analyzing an author's use of literary devices like foreshadowing or symbolism gives me the same satisfaction as solving a mystery. I love the "aha!" moments when things start making sense and meaning emerges from the words.I know some of my friends dread English class because they find it too subjective or dislike all the reading and writing required. And I'll admit there are times when I get bogged down by a difficult book or stressed out by a huge essay assignment. But even then, I still have an underlying appreciation for the subject. Reading and writing are simply core skills that apply to almost every aspect of life. The ability to effectively communicate, persuade, and understand ideas is so invaluable no matter what career or path I pursue after school. For example, the analytical skills I've gained from closely reading literature and analyzing rhetorical techniques have already helped me become a smarter consumer of media and information. I can better identify bias, evaluate arguments, and read between the lines instead of just accepting everything at face value. Those are such important critical thinking abilities to have in today's digital world where we're constantly being bombarded with messages and misinformation. My English skills help me navigate that more skillfully. And the confidence and creativity I've developed through my writing and public speaking practice in English class have given me a strong voice to share my own perspectives. Whether it's speaking up about issues I care about, crafting persuasive essays to move people, or just introducing myself in a college application, I know how to clearly and authentically express who I am. Those communication talents will no doubt continue serving me well in any endeavor I pursue from entrepreneurship to entertainment and beyond.Ultimately though, what I cherish most about English is how it's opened up entire universes for me through the pages of books and the magic of words. I've been able to travel to different centuries, walk in someone else's shoes, and considerthe most profound questions about human existence - all from the comfort of my bedroom just by picking up a novel. These stories and the wisdom they've imparted have profoundly shaped my worldview and stretched the limits of my imagination in the best way possible. So while English may be "just a class" from 8:30am to 9:25am each day, to me it's so much more than that. It's a catalyst for empathy, creativity, critical thinking, self-discovery, and all the other invaluable assets I've acquired. English has enriched my life and mind in innumerable ways. And for that reason, it will always be my favorite subject and something I hope to pursue further through literature, writing, storytelling, or any other form that allows me to embrace the beauty and power of language. The lessons I've learned will undoubtedly stay with me for life, long after I've gotten my final grade.。

我最喜欢的科目数学英语作文初一全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Subjects: Math and EnglishMath and English are definitely my favorite subjects in school. I know some kids think they're super boring and hard, but I actually find them really interesting and fun! There's just something about solving tough math problems and reading exciting stories that makes me happy. Let me tell you why I love math and English so much.Math - The Thrill of Problem SolvingI get such a rush whenever I successfully figure out a difficult math problem. It's like completing a big puzzle or cracking a secret code. I love the challenge of taking all the numbers, equations, and shapes, and trying to put them together in just the right way to reach the solution. Sometimes it takes a little trial and error, but that's part of the fun detective work. When I finally get that "aha!" moment and the answer clicks, it's so satisfying. I feel like a math genius, even if I struggled at first. My math teacher always says that struggling and makingmistakes is part of the learning process, and not to get frustrated. She's right - every time I get stumped and then figure it out, I understand the concepts better.Geometry has to be my favorite math topic so far. I'm sort of a visual learner, so working with shapes, angles, and proofs makes a lot of sense to me. Algebra is pretty neat too with all the variables and equations to solve. Calculus looks crazy hard, but I can't wait to take it next year and use math to study how things grow and move. Math is everywhere in the real world!I'm definitely planning to take as many advanced math classes as I can. Who knows, maybe I'll become an engineer and design awesome new technology. Or a mathematician cracking secret codes and solving mysteries with numbers. Or even a video game developer creating the next big hit with cool physics and geometry. As long as I can keep problem solving and feeling that rush of success, I'll be happy.English - The Joy of StoriesWhile math makes my brain feel like a superhero, English class is where my creativity gets to shine. There's just something magical about words and how they can transport you to different worlds, different times, and into other people's lives and minds.Reading an amazing book is like going on a epic journey without even leaving my room.Every story is like a brand new adventure waiting to happen. Will the main character achieve their goal? What unexpected twists and turns will they face along the way? How will it all turn out in the end? I have to keep reading to find out! Delving into the vivid details and imagery, feeling deep connections to the characters, getting swept up in all the drama and emotions - that's what makes reading so incredible to me.Writing my own stories is just as thrilling. Taking a blank page and slowly crafting an entire reality out of words is almost like wielding a superpower. I can create any kind of world, characters, and plot that I can dream up. Where will my imagination take me this time? A fantasy realm with magic and mythical creatures? A heart-pounding mystery that needs to be solved? A moving drama about friendship and family? The possibilities are endless! My English teacher is always giving me great feedback on how to make my writing more descriptive, organized, and impactful. Learning all the literary skills like metaphors, foreshadowing, dialogue, and more makes my stories come tolife. I'm constantly reading great examples from famous authors and analyzing what makes their writing so good.Maybe one day I'll become a bestselling novelist or an award-winning poet. Or perhaps I'll work in journalism or advertising, using my knack for language and storytelling in a different way. Heck, I might even write and illustrate my own comic book series! No matter what, English class is getting my creative juices flowing and opening up a world of potential career paths. So those are the two subjects that make my inner math nerd and storyteller incredibly happy. You can keep your football teams and music bands - give me an algebraic equation to solve or a gripping novel to read any day! As long as I'm challenging my brain, exploring new ideas, and unleashing my imagination, I'll be totally content. Math and English make learning feel more like fun than actual work. Not that I'll ever admit that to my classmates, of course. I'll just play it cool and keep getting my math geek and book nerd on. Maybe I'll even start a Math-letes and Writer's Club at school. Who's with me?!篇2My Favorite Subjects are Math and EnglishHi there! My name is Alex and I'm in 7th grade. I know lots of kids my age don't really like school that much, but I actually kind of do! Well, at least I love a couple of my classes. My absolute favorite subjects are math and English. I know, I know - those are kind of nerdy choices. But I really do enjoy them a lot!Let me start by telling you why I love math so much. I've always been kind of a numbers guy for as long as I can remember. When I was little, I used to love counting everything - stairs as I walked up them, ceiling tiles, toys I had, you name it. Numbers just made sense to me in a way that was really comforting. I felt like they were these stable, rational things in an often confusing world. As I got older and started actually learning real mathematical concepts in school, I got completely hooked. There's something so satisfying to me about working through an equationstep-by-step, simplifying things down until you arrive at the one tidy solution. It's like a puzzle that you get to slowly unlock and solve. And getting that final correct answer feels like such an accomplishment, almost like a little reward for all your hard work.I know a lot of kids struggle with math and find it really frustrating when they can't figure something out right away. ButI weirdly love that feeling of being stuck on a problem, having to stop and really think it through from all the angles until that light bulb suddenly goes off in my head. Those moments of realization and clarity are such a rush - it's like watching a bunch of random scrambled puzzle pieces suddenly click into place and form a cohesive picture right before your eyes.Another thing I adore about math is how precise and logical it is. There's no subjectivity or ambiguity - an answer is simply right or wrong based on established laws and principles. No opinion, emotion or personal interpretation gets involved. I find that very pragmatic, grounded way of thinking to be super appealing amidst all the chaos, drama and uncertainty of being a pre-teen. Math almost feels like a safe haven in a way.My other favorite subject, unsurprisingly, is English. This one might seem like more of an odd choice for a math-lover like me who enjoys such clear-cut, objective thinking. But I've always been a huge language nerd and found such joy in reading, writing and self-expression through words. From the time I was teeny-tiny, my parents read to me every single night before bed. Those stories, books and adventures fueled my imagination in the most wonderful ways and opened up entire new worlds for me. As I got older, I started becomingjust as transfixed by forming my own narratives, descriptions and dialogues through writing. Playing around with different writing styles, tones, points of view and turning a phrase just right gives me such a thrill.I love how English class pushes me to analyze literature, characters and themes on a deeper level. Being able to look for symbolism, examine an author's perspective and unearth hidden meanings is like being a detective of sorts, but for the written word. Dissecting phrases and passages to consider their nuances and implications isedelightfully mentally stimulating for me.But what I might appreciate most about English is how it encourages creativity and a divergence of unique ideas and interpretations. Unlike the singularity of a math solution, a piece of writing or prompted essay response can go a million different ways based on each person's individual lens, background, personality and mindset. Our writing and analyses are all valid and "right" in their own way, rather than just objectively correct or incorrect.I find the openness for imagination, abstraction andself-expression to be such a freeing and even therapeutic form of release. While math energizes the analytical side of my brain, English allows me to flex my innovative, artistic and philosophicalmuscles. Having outlets for both the rational and more emotionally creative parts of my mind is extremely fulfilling. At the end of the day, I'm just extremely grateful that our school offers such a well-rounded curriculum that fosters both academic pragmatism and intellectual creativity. Being able to explore my assorted strengths, interests and thought processes is truly a gift. Math and English happen to be my personal favorite avenues for channeling my energy and developing a diverse, balanced way of thinking and existing in the world. But I have immense respect for all the other subjects too - they each shine a light on the wondrous complexity and dynamism of our minds, lives and universe. So those are my two favorite subjects and why I love them so dearly. Does it make me a little nerdy? Sure, I can篇3My Favorite Subjects: Math and EnglishSchool has always been a huge part of my life. From the moment I started kindergarten, I felt excited to learn new things every single day. While all the subjects we study are important, two have always stood out as my absolute favorites – math andEnglish. To me, these two subjects represent the perfect balance of logic and creativity that makes learning fun and rewarding.Math: The Puzzle I Love to SolveI can still vividly remember the first time I really fell in love with math. It was in third grade, when we started learning multiplication tables. At first, it seemed completely puzzling and confusing. All those numbers and symbols looked like a complex code I couldn't crack. But as I practiced and my teacher helped me understand the patterns, everything slowly started to make sense. Math turned into this amazing game where I had to use logic and reasoning to find the right solutions.Once I mastered multiplication, I felt like a genius cracking secret codes! That feeling of accomplishment when I finally got the right answer after struggling with a problem was incredibly rewarding. Math gave me this great sense of joy in using my brain to its fullest. Even when I get stuck, I know there is always a way to figure it out if I think through it carefully step-by-step.Beyond just crunching numbers, math teaches you how to think methodically and develop skills to analyze any situation logically. Solving geometry problems using formulas feels like a fun detective game. Breaking down word problems into steps shows you how to approach any real-life dilemma systematically. To me, math is just one big, fascinating puzzle that I can't get enough of solving.English: The Creative Outlet I CherishWhile I do love the analytical thinking required for math, English class allows me to tap into the other half of my brain –the creative side. Unlike rigid math formulas, English is this wonderfully flexible language that lets me express myself in unique ways. I can craft vibrant stories, thoughtful essays, and even beautiful poems using just the power of carefully chosen words.Writing has always been an incredibly cathartic experience for me. Whenever I'm feeling happy, sad, confused, or any emotion in between, I can pick up a pen and pour my heart out onto the page. English class taught me different writing techniques to clearly communicate even the most complex thoughts and feelings rattling around inside my head.Reading also opens my mind to new perspectives and philosophies. Getting lost in a fictional fantasy world shows me a different lens for viewing reality. Analyzing novels and poems reveals deep insights about the human experience that I had never considered before. English allows me to travel throughtime, across cultures, and into the minds of people from all walks of life without ever leaving my desk. One of my favorite English units is when we study famous speeches throughout history. I'm always amazed by how powerfully persuasive language can influence hearts and minds. Watching a master orator like Martin Luther King Jr. use the perfect words and rhetorical devices to inspire change gives me goosebumps. English empowers me with the tools to one day maybe change the world through my own words and ideas. The Perfect Pair of SubjectsWhile math and English may seem completely opposite disciplines on the surface, they are actually more complementary than one might think. Math teaches you strict logic and analytical skills. English allows you to creatively express yourself while still requiring structured techniques. Together, this incrediblemind/heart combination unlocks well-rounded thinking that is both rational and insightful. For example, when asked to write an English essay, the math side of my brain helps outline my argument using a logical sequence of key points connected with clear reasoning and evidence. But then the English side takes over to describe those key points with vivid examples and engaging storytelling thatcaptures the reader's attention. The two work in harmony to produce a robust final product that is smart and articulate yet emotionally compelling. No matter what career path I chose to pursue later in life, the fundamentals of math and English will prove invaluable. Strong quantitative and communication abilities are highly prized in every profession from business to healthcare to education and beyond. Looking at life through both an analytical and creative lens gives me a distinct advantage to thrive and succeed. Most importantly though, math and English are simply subjects I am passionate about and genuinely enjoy learning. Even after I finish all my homework, you can often find me reading books for fun, solving brain teaser puzzles, or teaching myself advanced calculus from online videos just out of pure curiosity. To me, there is nothing quite as exhilarating as that "aha!" moment when a lightbulb flicks on and everything makes perfect sense after grappling with a difficult concept. As I move on to high school next year, I know math and English will continue to be my favorite subjects and sources of academic fulfillment. These two disciplines challenge me to sharpen my mind to an exceptional degree. While I may struggle at times, overcoming those hurdles makes me smarter and moreresilient in the long run. The knowledge and skills I gain will stick with me for the rest of my life and enrich every single experience to come. After all, math is the language that explains how the universe works through perfect logic and laws. English is the artistic expression of the deepest thoughts and most profound emotions that make us human. Mastering both gives you the power to make sense of the complexities and beauty of existence itself. That's why these two subjects will always be my absolute favorites.。

我最喜欢的艺术课程英语作文初一

我最喜欢的艺术课程英语作文初一

我最喜欢的艺术课程英语作文初一My Favorite Art ClassArt has always been my favorite subject in school. I just love being able to create something with my own two hands and let my imagination run wild. While other kids may enjoy math or science more, I've never really been that interested in those subjects. Don't get me wrong, I know they are important, but they just don't capture my attention and creativity the way that art does. This year in middle school, we had to take an art elective class. There were a few options like ceramics, drawing, and painting. I opted for the painting class because I've always found the most joy and freedom in being able to use a brush and mix vibrant colors on a canvas. When I'm painting, I feel like I can express myself in a way that words just can't convey. Our painting class was held twice a week after lunch in a studio room down the hallway from my main classes. The room had these huge windows that let in beautiful natural light. The walls were covered in previous students' artwork which I thought was really cool to see. There were about 20 other students in my class, a pretty small group compared to my other classes.Mrs. Parker was our painting teacher and I loved her from the very first day. She was younger, probably in her late 20s, with long curly hair that she always had pulled back in a ponytail while we were painting to keep it out of her face. She had these funky glasses, kind of round and yellow, that made her look friendly and approachable. But aside from her fun, artistic style, the main reason I loved Mrs. Parker was because of her teaching philosophy. She strongly believed that art should be about expression and finding your own style rather than just following techniques. Don't get me wrong, we did learn plenty of painting skills like color mixing, brush strokes, composition and more. But Mrs. Parker always emphasized that those were just tools, not rigid rules to be followed.I remember on the first day, she had us go around the room and each say what "art" means to us. I defined it as "creating something from your imagination." She smiled and said she loved that definition because it highlights art as an exploration of our own individuality and inner voice.Throughout the semester, we learned and practiced verschiedene Maltechniken. Still lifes of fruit bowls, human portraits, landscape scenes, and even abstract works where wejust played with colors and brush strokes. I have to admit that the human portraits were probably my biggest struggle. Getting proportions, shadows, and likeness right is so difficult! But my favorite projects were definitely the abstract paintings. For those, Mrs. Parker would put on some chill, instrumental music and just let us go wild on our canvases. We could use any colors, make any brushstrokes, or even incorporate other materials if we wanted. There were no rules, no boundaries. Just pure, uninhibited self-expression through paint.I remember one day I made this super vibrant, almost neon, abstract piece that was just an explosion of bright colors. Streaks of fluorescent pinks, greens, yellows and blues all intersecting and blending into each other. When I was done, I was so proud of what I had created. Not because it was a masterful artwork or followed any particular skill or technique. But because it was entirely my own. It came from within me and showed my personality and energy at that moment in a way that words in an essay simply could not. When I showed my neon abstract piece to Mrs. Parker, she had this huge smile spread across her face as she examined it closely. She turned to me and said "Chris, this is what art is all about. You've created something incredibly vibrant and uniquelyyou. There's so much amazing energy and life within this painting that expresses your creative spirit. I'm blown away."That compliment and validation from Mrs. Parker made me feel so incredibly proud and seen as an artist. Finally, someone appreciated and understood the vision I was trying to portray instead of forcing me to follow strict rules or techniques. That's what made Mrs. Parker's painting class so remarkably special.。

I mean, we get to learn allabout living things and how they work. It's like a whole new world opened up to me when I started studying Biology.I love learning about animals and plants, and how they adapt to their environment. Like did you know that some animals can camouflaged themselves to hide from predators? It's so fascinating! And plants, they can make their own food through photosynthesis. How amazing is that? One of my favorite parts of studying Biology is when we get to do experiments in the lab. It's so much fun to get hands-on and actually see how things work in real life. I remember one time we got to dissect a frog and see all its organs up close. It was gross but also really cool at the same time.I also love learning about the human body and how it functions. Like how our heart pumps blood throughout our body or how our brain controls everything we do. It's like a complex machine that's so incredible to study.Overall, Biology is just so interesting and fun to learn. I always look forward to going to class and discovering something new. I hope I can continue studying Biology in the future and maybe even become a biologist someday. How awesome would that be?篇6Hello everyone! Today I want to talk about my favorite subject in school, which is Biology. I think Biology is super cool because it helps us learn about living things and how they work. One of the reasons why I love Biology is because it teaches us about animals and plants. I find it fascinating to learn about different species and how they survive in their environment. For example, did you know that some animals can camouflage themselves to blend in with their surroundings? It's like they have a superpower!Another reason why I enjoy Biology is because I get to do fun experiments in the lab. I remember one time we dissected a frog and got to see all its organs up close. It was kind of gross but also really interesting to see how everything fits together inside a living creature.I also like learning about the human body in Biology class. It's amazing to think about how our bodies are made up of cells, tissues, and organs that all work together to keep us alive. I find it so cool to learn about the different systems in our body, like the respiratory system and the circulatory system.Overall, Biology is my favorite subject because it helps me understand the world around me and appreciate the beauty of nature. I hope to learn more about living things in the future and maybe even become a biologist one day. Biology rocks!。

你最喜欢的科目及原因的七年级英语作文全文共5篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Class and WhyHello, my name is Jamie and I'm in 7th grade. Today I want to tell you about my favorite class this year - Science! Science is just the coolest subject ever. I love everything about it - the experiments, learning about how things work, and exploring the world around us. Let me explain why Science class rocks so much!First off, the experiments we get to do are amazing. Just last week, we did an experiment about chemical reactions. We mixed different household liquids together like vinegar, baking soda, and dish soap. When you combine certain ingredients, they fizz up and even change colors! It's like magic but it's actually just science happening right in front of your eyes.During the experiment, we had to wear safety goggles and aprons to protect ourselves, which made me feel like a real scientist working in a lab. We took very careful measurements and wrote down our observations in a lab notebook. I think Imight want to be a chemist when I grow up so I can mix chemicals and discover new awesome reactions all day long.Another reason I love Science is because of all the cool things we learn about how the world works. Like in our unit on biology, we studied DNA and genetics. Did you know that DNA is this incredible code that has instructions for everything about you - your hair color, eye color, how tall you'll be?! It blows my mind that there are millions of these tiny DNA molecules inside every cell of your body.We also learned about inherited traits and how you get a mix of genes from your mom and dad. That's why siblings can look really different from each other. My friend Jamal has blonde hair and blue eyes like his dad, while his brother Marcus has brown hair and brown eyes like their mom. For our genetics unit project, we mapped out the traits in our own families using these really neat family tree diagrams. In addition to chemistry and biology, we've covered so many other fascinating science topics like physics, astronomy, geology, and more. Physics was my favorite unit because we learned all about forces, motion, and mechanical machines. We did experiments dropping different objects to see how fast they fell due to gravity. We also built simple machines like levers, pulleys, and wheels and axles using supplies like rulers, spoons, and even toilet paper tubes!Speaking of astronomy, I could literally stare at the stars for hours. Our class went on an awesome field trip to the planetarium where we got to look through high-powered telescopes and see planets, moons, galaxies and nebulas up close. The universe is so incredibly vast and amazing. Learning about black holes, supernovas, and the origins of the universe gives me chills.I have to admit, some of the science concepts can be pretty tricky and take a lot of brainpower to understand. Like when we learned how atoms are made up of even smaller subatomic particles like protons, neutrons and electrons. I definitely had to re-read those chapters in my textbook a few times! But I don't mind working hard because I find every topic we cover endlessly interesting and fascinating. My Science teacher, Mr. Newton, is another big reason why I love this class so much. He has a way of explaining complex ideas in a simple, easy-to-grasp way with awesome examples and demonstrations. Like when he dropped two different-sized bowling balls from a step ladder at the same time to show howall objects fall at the same rate when there's no air resistance. Mind-blowing!Mr. Newton also makes lessons super interactive by having us do group activities, games, and competitions. In our weather unit, our class had a battle of the weather forecasters where teams gave reports and predictions using cool green screen technology. We got to experience being meteorologists on TV! Hands-on learning is my favorite way to learn.Overall, Science is my number one favorite subject because it helps explain the mysteries of our universe and how everything works through observation, experimentation, and analysis. I'm always amazed at the new discoveries scientists are making by asking questions, thinking critically, and using scientific methods and processes. Science is an endless exploration and I can't get enough of it!So those are the main reasons why Science class shines above all others for me. I hope you can tell how excited and passionate I am about this subject. While some people might think science is boring or too complicated, I find it utterly captivating. The world around us is astounding and science helps us understand it better every day. I can't wait to see what new and incredible science concepts I'll learn about next!篇2My Favorite Subject is Science, and Here's Why!Science is hands down the best subject ever! I just love everything about it - the experiments, the discoveries, learning about how the world works. Science makes my brain feel like a racecar engine going full speed. Okay, maybe that's a weird analogy, but you get what I mean. Science is seriously awesome!I've been super into science for as long as I can remember. When I was a little kid, I was always asking questions like "Why is the sky blue?" and "How do airplanes stay up in the air?" I drove my parents crazy with the constant questions, but they must have seen how curious I was about the world around me. For my 6th birthday, they got me this really cool science experiment kit. It came with all kinds of stuff like a miniature electricity generator, litmus paper to test acids and bases, and materials to grow crystals. I spent hours every day doing the little experiments. Once, I even managed to make a small volcano erupt by combining baking soda and vinegar! In elementary school, science was okay, but to be honest, a lot of it was pretty boring and basic. We learned about things like the five senses, the life cycle of plants, and the three states ofmatter. I mean, sure, that foundational stuff is important. But I just wanted to learn about more mind-blowing topics like black holes, quantum physics, and genetic engineering. Finally, in 6th grade, science started getting really fascinating. We learned all about the different forms of energy - heat, light, sound, electrical, you name it. We did this awesome experiment where we had to design our own Rube Goldberg machine to demonstrate multiple energy transfers. My group made this epic contraption with levers, pulleys, spinning wheels, and bells that would clang at the end. It took us a whole month to build it, but it was worth it to see our creation in action! That's when I realized two things: 1) Science lets you understand how pretty much everything in the universe works, and 2) Science is a hands-on, creative process where you get to explore ideas through experimentation. It's not just reading some dusty textbook! Now that I'm in 7th grade, the science topics have gotten even cooler. This year, we're studying astronomy, which has always fascinated me. The fact that there are billions of galaxies in the observable universe, each with millions or billions of stars...it just blows my mind! Our astronomy unit started with theformation of the solar system and how stars are born from clouds of cosmic gas and dust. Then we moved on to learning about the lives of stars - how they burn through their nuclear fuel over billions of years, and what happens when stars run out of fuel and either turn into super-dense white dwarfs or violently explode as supernovas. We even learned about crazy things like neutron stars and black holes. I had no idea black holes were so intense - their gravitational force is so strong that not even light can escape their immense pull!My favorite part was when we did an activity modeling the expansion of the universe. We each got a sticker representing a galaxy, and we had to spread out on the classroom floor according to how the universe looked shortly after the Big Bang. Then we had to move apart from each other in a precise way to simulate the universe continuously expanding over billions of years. It was incredible to visualize how the universe went from this tiny, denseeball of energy and matter to the vast cosmic web of galaxies we see today. In my opinion, astronomy is the most fascinating scientific field because it deals with huge, mind-boggling concepts about the origin, evolution, and future of literally everything inexistence. I mean, what's more epic than trying to understand the entire universe with all its stars, planets, black holes, dark matter, and more? If that doesn't make your brain explode with amazement, I don't know what will.Of course, science isn't just about learning abstract concepts. It's also a process of asking questions, forming hypotheses, testing ideas through experimentation, and continuouslyre-evaluating theories based on new evidence. That's what I love most about science - you're never just memorizing a bunch of facts. You're figuring out how to find the real, factual answers about how the natural world works. To me, being a scientist must feel like being an intrepid explorer, venturing into the uncharted territory of the unknown universe, making new discoveries along the way. I picture scientists as the cosmic detectives of reality, uncovering the rules and patterns that govern everything from subatomic particles to massive celestial phenomena. Just imagining it gets me crazy excited!I know science probably isn't everyone's favorite subject. But in my opinion, it's the most wondrous, compelling topic there is. Us humans have already uncovered so many remarkable scientific truths through ingenuity and rigorous investigation.Yet, there is still so much left to explore and understand, from the perplexing behaviors of quantum particles, to the mysterious nature of dark matter and dark energy that makes up most of the cosmos, to the possibility of extra-terrestrial life forms on other planets. The universe still holds countless secrets just waiting to be revealed. So that's why science is my hands-down, undisputed, extremely super-charged favorite subject of all time. Whenever I learn something new about how the natural world operates, I feel like I'm becoming a little bit smarter, a little more enlightened about this vast, complex universe we all inhabit. And who knows - maybe one day I'll get to be one of the scientists making groundbreaking discoveries that help push the boundaries of human knowledge even further. A kid can dream, right? Excelsior!篇3My Favorite Subject: Math!Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm in 7th grade. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite subject in school – math! I know, I know, a lot of kids don't really like math. They think it's boring or too hard. But for me, math is the BEST! It's like a hugepuzzle or game that never gets old. Let me explain why I love math so much.First of all, I feel like a super genius when I solve a tough math problem. You know that feeling when you've been working on something forever and you finally figure it out? That amazing "aha!" moment? That happens to me all the time in math class! Take algebra for example. In the beginning, those equations with all the x's and y's looked like gibberish. But after lots of practice, it started to make sense. Rearranging the variables, combining like terms, solving for the unknown – it's like cracking a secret code! And when you get the right answer after all those steps, it's the best feeling ever. You're like a master detective who solved the case. Bam!Another reason I love math is that the rules and formulas always work. It's not like english class where you have to memorize a bunch of exceptions to the rules. Or history class where people can interpret events differently. With math, there's no debating it – if you follow the steps correctly, you'll get the right solution every single time. Two plus two will always equal four. The Pythagorean theorem will never fail you. Math is solid and reliable that way. As long as you know the fundamentals, you're golden. It's so satisfying!I'm also a visual person, so I love how math uses numbers, symbols, shapes, and graphs to explain concepts. It's much easier for me to understand when I can draw pictures and diagrams. Whenever I get stuck on a math problem, making a simple sketch or model usually helps me visualize what's happening. Geometry is awesome for that – calculating angles, finding area and volume, proving theorems. It's like working on a fun puzzle with all those shapes and figures. Numbers and equations alone wouldn't make as much sense to me without the visual diagrams. Then there are all the awesome real-world applications of math. I love seeing how the concepts we learn actually get used in science, engineering, finance, computers, and pretty much every career. Studying things like statistics, probabilities, interest rates, and data analysis shows how important math is for understanding our world. Math is everywhere, even if you don't always see it! I got really interested in computer programming this year too, which uses a ton of math with all the coding, algorithms, and logic. Sometimes I'll be playing a video game and start wondering about the crazy math and physics calculations that went into making the graphics and animations look so realistic. Cool stuff!I could go on and on, but you get the idea – math is my jam! It challenges me in a fun way and makes me think differently. I feel so accomplished when I master a new skill or solve abrain-teasing problem. Plus, my teachers have shown me how essential math is for all kinds of future careers. I know being good at math will open up lots of opportunities for me after high school and college.Of course, math can definitely be frustrating at times too. I'll work super hard on an assignment and still struggle or get stuck. Sometimes I stare at the numbers and formulas and they backwards to me. Or I'll make a silly mistake somewhere that messes up the entire problem. When that happens, I have to step away, take a break, and come back with a fresh mind. It's amazing how differently I can see things after a little rest. I've learned to never get discouraged because feeling confused is just part of the learning process. Math is all about perseverance! So those are the main reasons why math is my favorite subject. It exercises my brain in a unique way – building my problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills. I love the satisfaction of finally understanding a challenging concept or solving a complicated problem. Math makes me think logically and gives me a cherished feeling of accomplishment. Mostimportantly though, it's fun! I'm constantly in awe of all the different ways numbers interact and geometries fit together. Math is like uncovering little secrets and mysteries about our universe. It may be challenging at times, but I'm determined to keep getting better at it.Well, I could ramble forever, but I should probably wrap this up now. Let me just say one last time – math is awesome! If you're not a fan yet, I hope I've given you some reasons to appreciate its magic a little more. Don't be intimidated, be eager to learn! Math has so much to offer. I'm really glad I gave it a fair chance and worked hard at understanding it better. Now it's one of my biggest strengths and joys in school. Keep practicing, stay curious, and math can be your favorite too! Thanks for reading my essay. Until next time!篇4My Favorite Subject: Science!Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite subject - science! I just love science so much. It's the best class ever and I look forward to it every single day.First off, I have the coolest science teacher, Mr. Wilson. He makes every lesson super fun and interesting. We're always doing crazy experiments and getting our hands dirty instead of just reading from a book all period. Last week, we made these mini volcanoes out of modeling clay and baking soda and then set them off by pouring vinegar inside. It was so awesome watching them erupt over and over! The whole class was cracking up.Another reason I love science is because I'm really into all the gross, weird stuff we learn about. Some people think it's disgusting but I think it's fascinating. Like last semester, we learned all about the human body's different systems and how they work. We even got to dissect a frog to see all its organs and squishy insides up close. I thought it was so cool! But I think my favorite unit so far was when we studied outer space and the solar system. We got to make these detailed models of the planets out of styrofoam balls and paint. Painting all the rings around Saturn was a pain, but it turned out looking really rad. We also got to go to the planetarium downtown one day, which was a total blast. Seeing all the stars and galaxies projected all around you on that huge domed ceiling was just mind-blowing.Speaking of space, I've always dreamed of maybe becoming an astronaut someday. How amazing would it be to actually travel to the moon or even Mars? I'd love to be one of the first people to walk on another planet. Or what if I could help discover a new planet or galaxy that no human has ever seen before? That would be insane! Just the thought of drifting around in a spaceship staring out at the endless cosmos gets me so pumped. But even if I don't end up being an astronaut, I know I definitely want to do something related to science as a career. Maybe I could be a inventor and create some kind of cool new technology that helps make the world a better place. Or I could go into medicine and find cures for deadly diseases. Or build super fast rockets for NASA. The possibilities are endless!Science is just so fascinating to me because there's always new stuff being discovered and scientists are constantly unlocking the mysteries of how our universe works. It's all one big, never-ending adventure full of exploration and learning. Every time I walk into science class, I feel like I'm going on this magical journey of knowledge and my mind is constantly being blown.I guess I'm just someone who has a super curious brain that always wants to know "how" and "why" things happen. Whenever I don't understand something, it drives me bonkers until I can figure it out. Like a while ago, I was struggling to understand how a lady could have DNA from two totally different species just by getting a bone marrow transplant. I must have bombarded poor Mr. Wilson with a million questions about it until it finally clicked.I'm definitely planning on joining the Science Club once I get to high school. I've heard they get to do all sorts of epic science fair projects and experiments that we can't do in regular class. A few of my friends and I have already been tossing around ideas, like trying to build our own robot or a container you can use to grow food while camping. We're such nerds, I know.Anyway, those are the main reasons why science is my favorite subject. Sure, the math part of it can be kind of tricky sometimes and the textbooks are wicked dry. But all the hands-on activities, crazy facts, and mind-bending theories about how our world works more than make up for it. Nothing gets me more stoked to be in school than an awesome science class full of explosions, dissections and major discoveries!篇5My Favorite Subject is Science and Here's Why!Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. Today I want to tell you all about my absolute favorite subject - science! I know what you might be thinking, "But Jamie, science is so hard and boring with all those weird formulas and stuff." But trust me, once you get into it, science is one of the coolest and most fascinating subjects ever. Let me explain why I love it so much!First off, in science class, we get to do all kinds of awesome hands-on experiments and activities. It's not just sitting at a desk listening to the teacher lecture all period. We actually get to be scientists ourselves! Last week, we learned about chemical reactions by mixing different household liquids together to see what would happen. Some of the concoctions fizzed and bubbled, while others even changed colors right before our eyes. It was like magic, but even better because there was a scientific explanation for it all. We get to put on those cool goggles and lab coats and everything. Doesn't that sound way more fun than just reading from a textbook?Another reason science is so great is that it helps us understand how the world around us works. Have you ever wondered why the sky is blue? Or what causes the waves at thebeach? Or even cooler, how about learning that we're all made up of teeny tiny particles called atoms? That's some pretty mind-blowing stuff when you really think about it! Science lets us discover the answers to all of those fascinating questions about nature and the universe. It's like being a detective, but instead of solving crimes, you're solving the mysteries of everything around you.Speaking of mysteries, science is also amazing because there's still so much that we haven't figured out yet. That means there are endless new frontiers to explore and uncharted territories to investigate. Who knows, maybe one of you reading this essay will grow up to be the next Albert Einstein or Marie Curie and make some incredible new discovery! Every day, scientists all over the world are uncovering brand new particles, exploring other planets and galaxies, and unlocking the secrets of how life began. With science, the possibilities are infinite and that's so exciting! But science isn't just about learning facts and theories. It's also a way of thinking critically and solving problems in a logical, step-by-step manner. Those skills are super useful for all kinds of situations, not just in the classroom or lab. Maybe you'll use your scientific know-how to design new inventions that could helpmake the world a better place. Or perhaps you'll become a doctor and use your understanding of biology to help cure diseases and save lives. Heck, even video game developers need to understand physics and math to make their games look and play realistically. Science opens up so many amazing career paths and opportunities. Now I know what you might be thinking again - "But Jamie, science seems so hard with all those complicated concepts and math parts." Yeah, it definitely can be challenging at times and you've got to work hard. But here's the thing - putting in the effort and pushing through those tough concepts makes it that much more rewarding when you finally have those light bulb moments and everything clicks into place. There's no better feeling than struggling through a difficult lab or concept, but then nailing it in the end because of your perseverance. It shows you have real grit and determination. Science will make you smarter and stretch your brain in ways that other subjects can't.Plus, we have such a fun and supportive science teacher at our school, which makes learning it all much easier. Mr. Rodriguez is always cracking corny science jokes and doing cool demos to keep us engaged. He never makes us feel dumb when we're confused about something, but instead works with uspatiently until we get it. Having an encouraging teacher like that makes class time fly by.So in conclusion, I could go on and on about why science is so awesome, but I'll wrap it up for now. From the exciting hands-on experiments to learning how the world operates to prepping you for awesome future job opportunities, science has it all. It's a subject that sparks curiosity, promotes critical thinking, and pushes you to work hard - but is also crazy interesting and fun at the same time. What more could you want? Science isn't just my favorite subject, it's the total package!。

我最喜欢的学校里的艺术课的英语作文Art class is my favorite subject in school. The moment I step into the art room, I feel a sense of peace and excitement. The colorful paint, the smell of clay, and the sound of pencils scratching on paper all bring me so much joy.In my favorite school, the art teacher is Ms. Smith. She is a talented artist herself, and her passion for art is contagious. She always encourages us to explore our creativity and try new techniques. Whether we are painting, sculpting, or drawing, she is there to guide us and help us improve. One of my favorite projects in art class was when we had to create a self-portrait using only our imagination. We were not allowed to look in a mirror or use a photograph as reference. It was challenging at first, but Ms. Smith encouraged us to let our creativity flow. I ended up with a colorful and abstract representation of myself that captured my personality in a unique way.Another project I loved was when we worked on a collaborative mural for the school hallway. Each student was assigned a section to paint, and we had to coordinate our designs to create a cohesive artwork. It was amazing to see howeach piece came together to form a beautiful and meaningful masterpiece. In art class, I have learned to appreciate the beauty in everyday objects, to express my thoughts and emotions through art, and to take risks and experiment with different mediums. It has not only improved my skills as an artist but also helped me grow as a person.I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn and create in such a supportive and inspiring environment. Art class in my favorite school has been a truly enriching experience, and I cannot wait to see what new adventures and creations await me in the future.。

英语作文我最喜欢的科目语文100词

英语作文我最喜欢的科目语文100词全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Subject: ChineseI absolutely love Chinese class! It's my favorite subject in school by far. There are so many amazing things about learning the Chinese language and literature. I can't get enough of it!One of the best parts is getting to read all the incredible stories and poems from ancient China. My teacher reads them allowed in such an animated way, bringing the words to life. I feel transported to another time and place, surrounded by brave warriors, wise scholars, and mystical creatures. The language is just so beautiful and poetic, with hidden layers of meaning. Trying to unravel and interpret the deeper symbolism and life lessons feels like a fun puzzle. The myths and legends from Chinese culture are endlessly fascinating to me. Tales of trickster monkey kings, dragons guarding pearls of wisdom, and immortal deities walking among mortals...they fire up my imagination like nothing else! I'll spend hours after class daydreaming about going on adventures inthose magical realms. Maybe I'll stumble upon a secret scroll with ancient kung fu techniques. Or drink from a spring that bestows me with incredible powers. Anything seems possible in the rich tapestry of Chinese mythology. Then there are the two thousand years of philosophical teachings from iconic sages like Confucius and Lao Tzu. Their profound insights about virtue, harmony, and the natural way of the universe are mind-blowing for a kid my age to ponder. Passages from the Analects of Confucius or the Tao Te Ching often read like cryptic riddles that you have to meditate on to unlock the deeper truth. I love trying to wrap my head around those ancient wisdoms and how they still apply to our modern lives.Chinese calligraphy is another aspect that I find incredibly rewarding and therapeutic. Using the brush to create the graceful flowing strokes and intricate characters is like an art form. My calligraphy still needs a lot of practice, but there's a Zen-like peacefulness that washes over me whenever I put my mind solely on inking each stroke with precision and intention. It really helps calm my restless energy. And of course, I take immense pride in being able to speak, read and write one of the oldest living languages in existence.Knowing Chinese connects me to a rich cultural heritage going back thousands of years. My ancestors' blood, sweat, and sacrifices enabled this profound language to be passed down through the generations until finally reaching me. I feel like a vital link in that long chain of knowledge transmission. It's an honor and privilege to learn the language.Sometimes the memorization of so many unique characters and complicated tonal pronunciations can be really tough, I'll admit. But every time I feel daunted, I just remind myself how Chinese is considered one of the most difficult languages in the world to master. It's such a proud accomplishment! Knowing that keeps me motivated to work even harder. My Chinese teacher, Mrs. Wang, is another major reason why I adore this subject so much. She's basically like a modern-day sage - kind, patient, and so incredibly wise about both the language and life itself. The way she can break down complex concepts into simple, vivid examples using stuff kids can understand is a real gift. She always finds innovative ways to make the lessons fun and engaging, like having us act out scenes from classic tales or playing calligraphy games. I never want to let Mrs. Wang down by not putting in my full effort.I really look up to Mrs. Wang and hope that one day I can follow in her footsteps to become a Chinese teacher myself. My dream is to pass along this beautiful language and its profound cultural heritage to future generations, just as she's doing for me now. I want to spark that same sense of wonder, wisdom and connection to their roots in young minds. Few things would make me prouder. So while my friends might get more excited about P.E., art class or recess, there's nothing I geek out over more than Chinese. The dazzling language, the brilliant literature, the rich history, the profound philosophies...it all combines into one endlessly fascinating, rewarding subject that I'm immensely grateful to study. Chinese is so much more than just another class to me. It's a living connection to my ancestors, an infinite source of wisdom, and the key to unlocking incredible stories from the past. I can't put into words how much I cherish that gift. Learning Chinese has篇2My Favorite Subject - Chinese LanguageI absolutely love Chinese language class! It's definitely my favorite subject in school. I look forward to it every day andalways try my hardest. There are so many reasons why I enjoy it so much.First of all, I find the Chinese characters so beautiful and fascinating. Each one is like a tiny work of art with its own unique design and strokes. Some are simple with just a few strokes, while others are very complex and ornate. I get a sense of satisfaction from practicing writing them over and over until I can draw them perfectly. There's something calming yet rewarding about carefully crafting each character.Chinese also has such a rich history behind it. The writing system dates back thousands of years! I'm always amazed when I learn about things like oracle bone script from the Shang Dynasty or the Qin standardization of Chinese characters. Thinking about how the language evolved over centuries from ancient times until today gives me a deeper appreciation for it. It makes me feel connected to a long, cultural legacy. Then there are the fascinating components that make up Chinese vocabulary - radicals, semantic-phonetic compounds, associative compounds, and more. Dissecting the meanings and origins of words is like cracking a code. I enjoy trying to decipher the literal meanings from the formations of the charactersthemselves. Seeing how words are constructed based on their components helps make sense of the language. And of course, I love learning about the different tones in Chinese. It's a very melodic and lyrical language when spoken properly. Mastering the four tones is tricky, but I practice diligently. I think it's fun to change the pitch andinflewction of syllablles and notice how it totally alters the meaning. Getting the tones right makes me feel like I'm adding musicality to my speech. My Chinese language teacher is also one of the best teachers I've ever had. Her name is Mrs. Wang and she always makes class engaging and interactive. Instead of just lecturing, she has us play games, act out dialogues, and use hands-on activities to learn. She definitely brings out her creative side with her lesson plans! Mrs. Wang is also really encouraging and praises us for our efforts, never criticizing mistakes. Her positive attitude makes the classroom a very supportive environment for learning.I have to admit, Chinese isn't the easiest subject in the world. The writing system takes a lot of practice and memorization. There are so many strokes, radicals, and compounds to know. And don't even get me started on remembering which tone goes with which character! It can definitely be challenging at times. But I don't let that discourage me. I see it as a fun puzzle to solve, little by little. The more I learn, the more hooked I become on this amazing language. What really motivates me to work hard in Chinese class though, is knowing how useful it will be in the future. China has one of the oldest civilizations and cultures in the world, and its language reflects that rich heritage. By becoming proficient in Chinese, incredible opportunities could open up for me later on - traveling to China, reading great literary works, understanding media and entertainment, connecting with Chinese communities, and potentially even career prospects. Mastering this language will give me a key to unlocking a whole other world. My dream is to one day become fluent enough to read Chinese books, watch Chinese movies without subtitles, and converse with native speakers easily. I'm practicing my Chinese constantly - going over flashcards, listening to audio lessons, even labeling household objects with their Chinese names. Every little bit of effort gets me closer to my goal. I can't wait until I'm at the level where I can fully immerse myself in the Chinese language and culture. For now though, I'll keep enjoying my Chinese classes and having fun learning each new word, phrase, grammar patternand culture insight. To me, the Chinese language isn't just a subject - it's a journey of discovery into a new way of expression and thinking. With each lesson, I get to explore the beauty, complexity and wonders of this amazing linguistic treasure. That's why Chinese is hands down my favorite subject. It opens my mind to an entirely different world.篇3My Favorite Subject: Chinese LanguageI absolutely love my Chinese language class! It's definitely my favorite subject in school. I know some kids think it's boring or too hard, but I find it really fun and interesting. There's just so much to learn about the Chinese language and culture. One of the things I like most is learning to read and write the Chinese characters. At first, they seem totally crazy with all the strokes and everything. But once you start understanding the radicals and how they are put together, it's almost like cracking a secret code. Memorizing how to write them is kind of like doing puzzles or drawing little pictures. Some are easy, but others are super intricate and complicated. I try to practice writing them over and over until I've got them down perfectly. There are so many fascinating characters too, with all sorts of cool meanings and backstories. Like the character for "dragon" (龙) that's made up of parts meaning "monster", "crawl", and "unlicensed". How awesome is that? Or "bear" (熊) that has the "fire" radical because of an old myth. Learning the origins and tales behind different characters is my favorite part. It's like peeking into the past and ancient Chinese culture. Then you've got all the different tones in the spoken language that can totally change the meaning of a word. I have to admit, tones were really hard for me at first. But my teacher showed us some fun tricks for practicing, like singing tongue twisters or acting out words in little skits. Now I can usually nail the tones, even on new vocabulary words. Getting the tones right makes me feel like I'm truly speaking authentic Chinese. Our textbooks have great passages about things like fables, festivals, historical events, and daily life in China too. I love reading and discussing those in class. They teach me so much about the rich culture and traditions. Some seem familiar in a way, but others are completely foreign and fascinating to learn about. We'll talk about different philosophies, customs, foods, you name it. Makes me want to visit China someday and experience it all for myself!Speaking of experiencing the culture, we also get to do lots of fun activities and projects in Chinese class. We've made traditional arts and crafts, cooked classic Chinese dishes, learned ancient games and pastimes, and more. For New Year, we did a dragon dance and my group even won a prize! Getting to truly immerse ourselves in the culture makes the language feel so much more vibrant and real. What I think is really cool about Chinese is how old and continually evolving it is. We're learning this ancient language that has such deep roots and history. But it's still widely used today by over a billion people in the modern world. And it keeps morphing and changing all the time, just like other living languages. I can't wait to see how Chinese language and culture continues developing in the years to come.My friends all groan about how hard Chinese class is. Sure, the writing system isn't exactly easy, and the tones take practice. But in my opinion, the rewards of learning this amazing language are more than worth the effort. Becoming fluent in Chinese opens up access to a totally different world - one with an unbroken civilization stretching back thousands of years. Getting to peer into that rich culture and history through language is an incredible opportunity.I just find the whole thing - the sounds, the characters, the cultural context - all of it endlessly captivating. Give me a free period, and I'll probably spend it reading Chinese fables, copying out characters, or chatting with my Chinese friends. My parents are always joking that I'm an "old soul" because of my obsession with Chinese language and traditions. Hey, maybe I was a scholar or something in a past life!In any case, I plan on sticking with Chinese for as long as I can. I'll take every class available through high school for sure. After that, who knows? Maybe I'll study it in college. Or travel to China. Or find a career where I get to use my Chinese skills every day. One thing's for certain, though - my love for this rich and profound language is just getting started. Chinese will always have a special place in my heart and mind.篇4My Favorite Subject: Chinese LanguageI love Chinese language class! It's my absolute favorite subject in school. I look forward to it every day because it's just so much fun and interesting. Let me tell you why I enjoy learning Chinese so much.First of all, I find the Chinese characters fascinating. They're like beautiful little pictures and each one has a deeper meaning and history behind it. Did you know the character for "mother" (妈) is made up of the symbols for "female" and "birth"? How cool is that? And the character for "love" (爱) contains the symbols for "heart" and "friend." Just thinking about the deeper meanings makes me smile.Learning how to write the characters is almost like an art form. You have to make sure each stroke is in the right place and follows the proper technique. It takes patience and practice, but there's something really satisfying about perfecting a new character. My calligraphy skills are slowly improving thanks to all the practice in Chinese class.Reading and writing aren't the only fun parts though. I also really enjoy learning about Chinese culture, history, and traditions through language study. We learn ancient fables and stories that teach valuable lessons. We celebrate holidays like Chinese New Year and learn about the customs surrounding them. It's amazing how much history and culture is tied to the language.Speaking of culture, one of my favorite things is learning about the different dialects and varieties of Chinese. Cantonese,Hokkien, Hakka, and so many more - each one has its own unique sounds and expressions. My best friend is from Hong Kong so she's been teaching me some Cantonese phrases. It's like a secret language we can use! How awesome is that? You know what else I love? All the fun games, songs, and activities we do in class to help us learn. My teacher is really creative and always finds interactive ways to teach us new vocabulary or grammar points. Sometimes we play charades or Pictionary to guess words and phrases. Other times we sing silly songs to remember tones or sentence patterns. It definitely makes everything more enjoyable and memorable.I have to admit, Chinese isn't the easiest subject. The writing system takes a ton of practice and there are so many homophones and idioms to keep track of. But that's part of what makes it exciting - it's a challenge! Every time I successfully read a passage I struggled with or use a new word correctly in a sentence, I feel such a sense of accomplishment. It's incredibly rewarding. My parents always tell me that being bilingual and biliterate in Chinese will open up so many opportunities for me in the future. I can communicate with people from all over the world and appreciate different cultures more deeply. Maybe I'llbecome a translator, or work for an international company doing business in China. Or I could write books and share stories that bring Chinese and Western cultures together. The possibilities are endless! What I'm trying to say is, Chinese isn't just a class I have to take - it's a door to exploring a whole new world of language, history, and culture. Every lesson fills my mind with wonder and appreciation for the richness of the Chinese language. Even when it's difficult, I never lose my love for it.In the end, Chinese is so much more than just memorizing characters and vocabulary words. It's about connecting to my heritage, opening my eyes to new perspectives, and unlocking a beautiful world of knowledge. That's why it will always be my favorite subject. I can't wait to continue my Chinese journey and see where this amazing language takes me!篇5My Favorite Subject Is Chinese LanguageHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm in 5th grade. I'm going to tell you all about my favorite subject in school - Chinese language class! I just love everything about it. The reading, writing, poems, idioms, you name it. Chinese is so rich and beautiful. One of the best parts is reading classical poems and texts from long ago. We've read works by Li Bai, Du Fu, and other famous poets from the Tang Dynasty. Their poems use such vivid imagery and beautiful words to describe nature. I can picture the mountains, rivers, and moonlight so clearly in my mind. My teacher says good poets can capture entire scenes in just a few lines. That's real talent! Then there are the Four Great Classical Novels we've started on - Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Journey to the West, Water Margin, and Dream of the Red Chamber. These ancient stories have everything - wars, deities, outlaws, and romance. The heroes are so brave and the villains are deliciously devious. We just started Romance of the Three Kingdoms and I already love the sworn brothership between Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei. What loyal friends! In addition to the classics, we learn so many fascinating Chinese idioms and proverbs. Idioms are my favorite - they have such cool histories behind them. Like "Drawing a snake and adding feet" which means to make a bad situation worse. It comes from an old tale about a boy who thought a snakepainting wasn't realistic enough since it had no feet. So he added feet and got in huge trouble! Isn't that an awesome visual? Then of course, there's the writing practice. I'll admit, memorizing all those complex traditional Chinese characters can be a drag at times. My hand cramps up just thinking about it! But there's a real sense of accomplishment when I can finally write out an idiom or famous poem line perfectly. The beautiful calligraphic strokes are like art. What I maybe love most though, are the lively class discussions we have. My teacher Mr. Wang is so wise and often relates the ancient texts to modern life lessons. Just last week, he taught us about the concept of "Ren" from Confucianism - showing kindness, respect and love towards others. He said it's the most important virtue a person can cultivate. Such deep thinking! We also have debates about questions like - "Were the rebels in Water Margin actually wronged heroes fighting for justice? Or were they just selfish crooks?" I argue they were revolutionary heroes, but my friend Linlin thinks they went too far sometimes. Either way, it's fascinating to discuss different perspectives on these classics.Chinese language class is just endlessly enriching. Between the poems, novels, idioms, vocabulary and philosophical lessons....I soak it all up like a little sponge! The depth of my culture's literary heritage amazes me. Just thinking about it fills me with pride and happiness. Some kids complain that Chinese class is too hard with all the memorization required. But I say it's worth every second! Why just learn practical conversational Chinese when you can dive into our country's glorious artistic and intellectual traditions? That's what really resonates with me on a deep level. In the future, I hope to be a writer, scholar or teacher myself one day. I want to add my own work to China's rich literary canon while sharing the magic with others. Chinese language has been the perfect spark for my intellectual curiosity and creative passions.Well, that's my impassioned take on why Chinese language is simply the best subject ever! I could go on and on really. Every class is a new opportunity to discover enlightening wisdom from the past. If you'll excuse me, I have a Li Bai poem about solitude to contemplate under the moonlight. Thanks for reading, and have a great day!篇6My Favorite Subject: Chinese LiteratureI absolutely love Chinese literature class! It's my favorite subject in school. Reading all the ancient stories and poems is just so much fun. I know some kids think it's boring, but not me!One of the reasons I enjoy Chinese lit so much is because of all the great characters we get to learn about. There are wise old sages, brave warriors, sneaky tricksters, and mythical beasts. My favorite character is probably the Monkey King from Journey to the West. He's so mischievous and gets into all kinds of trouble with his magical staff. But he's also really powerful and loyal to his friends. I wish I could meet the Monkey King and go on an adventure with him!The plots of the classic novels are always exciting too. Water Margin has all these awesome outlaw heroes fighting against corrupt officials. Romance of the Three Kingdoms is an epic tale of wars between kingdoms. And Dream of the Red Chamber follows two feuding families through all their drama and intrigue. The stories really suck you in with all the action, suspense and complex relationships between the characters. What's really cool is how much wisdom and philosophy is contained within these old stories and poems. The authors tackled all kinds of deep questions about life, morality, relationships and society. Sometimes the lessons are stated outright through the words of a wise teacher or philosopher. Other times, you have to read between the lines and think critically about the underlying messages. Either way, it gives you so much food for thought.Chinese lit class isn't just about reading and analyzing texts though. We also get to try our hand at writing our own poems, stories and essays. At first it was really intimidating to attempt these classic art forms. But with practice and guidance from my teacher, I've started to find my own poetic voice. There's nothing quite like the sense of accomplishment when you craft a beautiful turn of phrase or an evocative metaphor. My parents were so proud when I won a school-wide literary contest last year! What I love most about Chinese literature though is how it connects me to my cultural heritage. These classic works have been passed down and cherished for centuries. When I read them, I feel a profound sense of being part of an enduring tradition that stretches back thousands of years. Many of thevalues, philosophies and art forms laid down by ancient writers and poets still resonate today.Despite those flaws, I still find Chinese literature absolutely captivating. The richness of the language, the depth of the storytelling, and the insight into the human condition and the Chinese soul - it all comes together in a cultural treasure trove that every student should explore. I'm so grateful that Chinese lit is a core part of our curriculum. It has given me a profound appreciation for my civilizational roots as well as a lifelong love of reading, writing and creative expression. So that's why Chinese literature will always be my favorite school subject. Sorry math, science, and PE - you just can't compete with the magic of ancient tales and timeless verse! Even if I grow up to pursue a career in something completely different, I know the wisdom and beauty of the Chinese literary tradition will forever enrich my mind and soul. Maybe I'll even write an award-winning novel or poem of my own someday. For now though, I'm just happy devouring every mythology, epic and ode that my awesome Chinese lit teacher puts in front of me.。
