摘要:随着高考英语的改革,新课改对英语教学的要求也在改革。
高考英语更加注重考查学生的知识运用能力而不是基础知识的掌握,因此任课教师应当在课堂教学中更加注重培养学生的自主学习能力。
这就要求任课教师在课堂教学中要注重课堂教学效率的提高,不仅要给学生传授基础知识,也要提高学生的自主学习能力。

英语这门学科需要学习的内容非常冗杂,学生需要掌握的基础知识非常丰富,因此任课教师必须保证学生可以在课堂上学习到必备的基础知识。
但学生需要掌握的知识也不能仅仅依靠课堂掌握,任课教师也需要考虑培养学生的自主学习能力。
同时,现在的高考对学生的知识运用能力考查的比较多,所以任课教师在课堂上合理安排课堂教学就显得尤为重要。
本文将针对高中英语如何提高课堂教学效率展开讨论:
一、做好备课工作
高中英语是一门系统性非常强的学科,一堂效率高的英语课应当充分挖掘学生自身的特点,结合高中英语的系统化、全面化等特点,做到循序渐进。
只有这样才能充分挖掘学生学习兴趣,让学生自主的、全身心的投入到课堂学习中。
课前备课工作做得越细致,课堂安排的效率就越高。
在备课时,任课教师可以充分考虑本节课要完成的教学目标,有了目标就有了方向,也就有了课堂准备的思路,这样安排教学内容时就会得心应手。
任课教师在备课时要整体把握课本内容,在宏观上理解课本教学的目标,把握整体教学的方向,充分领会课本内容,这样才会合理根据课本内容安排课堂教学活动,吸引学生的学习兴趣,满足学生对课本内容的趣味需求,让学生可以投入到课堂学习中。
在整体把握了课本内容之后,需要根据课本内容的重难点将整体的课本内容分为几个重难点部分进行分块教学,这样可以将重点、难点的部分对学生进行细节分析,让学生可以循序渐进的了解和掌握重难点知识。
在安排好课堂教学内容后,任课教师一定要提前对备课内容进行演练,及时发现备课内容的不足之处并加以修改,保证之后进行的课堂教学顺利进行。
任课教师在演练时也要充分考虑到学生如果参与到这个活动中的感受,这样就会深刻领会学生的实际需求,保证学生在课堂中可以很好的接受课堂教学内容。
二、充分激励起学生的学习兴趣
激励学生的学习兴趣可以帮助提高课堂教学效率,“兴趣是最好的老师”就是讲的这个道理,如果学生对这节课的内容充满兴趣,学生会自主、有效的进行学习,课堂效率就会大大增加。
因此,激励学生的学习兴趣成为提高课堂教学效率的首要任务。
良好的开端是成功的一半,如果在课堂内容正式开始之前可以学生学习本节课的内容进行一个良好的引导,可以激励起学生的学习兴趣,让学生充分参与到本节课的内容中。
任课教师在这段时间内可以变得平易近人、幽默风趣一些,给学生一个和谐、活泼的学习环境,让学生能够迅速的进入到课堂学习的角色中。
通常这段时间我们可以有两种方式激励学生的学习兴趣。
第一种是开门见山的直接告诉学生本节课的课堂教学内容以及需要学生掌握到什么程度,将本节课的重点、难点部分提前告诉学生,让学生具有充分的心理准备。
第二种是通过一定手段和方式让学生进入一种课堂教学环境中,在这个教学环境中学生可以通过选择扮演一个角色根据任课教师的引导对课堂内容进行一个课前的总体把握,之后开始的课堂就会对学生来说充满了乐趣,学生就可以用一种轻松、愉悦的心情进行学习。
除了以上两种在课堂中安排的兴趣活动之外,任课教师也可以在课堂开始前为学生安排一定
的课外活动增强学生学习英语的课堂兴趣。
例如举办英语角活动、办英语手抄报等活动,让学生自主的对本节课的课堂内容进行预习,根据自己的自身能力对课堂内容进行掌握,这样在课堂中就会有一定的把握完成任课教师的教学任务,也会有根据性的对课堂内容进行把握学习。
三、培养学生自主学习的能力
学生具备的自主学习能力也是提高课堂教学效率的有效途径,任课教师也可以通过提升学生的自主学习能力来提高课堂教学效率。
新课改中对学生自主学习能力的培养提出了一定的要求,学生通过课堂教学学习到的课本内容是手段、方式,让学生能够通过课堂教学学习到自主学习的能力、方法才是课堂教学的目的和关键。
因此任课教师必须要通过合理的课堂教学安排提升学生的自主学习能力。
首先任课教师要培养学生自主预习课本内容的习惯。
在课堂内容开始前,任课教师可以引导学生对课本内容进行整体的宏观把握,让学生领会到自主学习课本内容的乐趣,这样学生在今后的学习过程中就会利用课余时间对课本内容进行提前的预习。
学生对课本内容有一个整体的把握,这节课任课教师进行教学活动时学生就可以积极的配合任课教师安排的教学活动,课堂效率自然就提高了。
其次要培养学生使用其他教学资源进行学习的习惯。
现代课堂仍然是以任课教师进行安排、讲解为主的课堂,但学生在课余生活中并不能时时刻刻依赖任课教师,所以任课教师要培养学生善于运用身边其他教学资源进行学习的能力。
英语这门学科学生主要的难关在单词的学习上,任课教师可以在课堂的教学中就安排学生善于利用英语词典、电子词典等工具进行单词学习,学生感受到其他学习资源的强大功能后,在遇到问题时就会主动寻找学习资源促进自己的学习,这样也可以提升课堂的教学效率,让学生利用最短的时间学习到更多的知识。
第三要培养学生与他人沟通学习的能力。
学生能够接触到的最大的人群就是与他同龄的学生群体,在遇到困难时也会第一时间向同龄人寻求帮助,任课教师要充分培养学生与他人之间的沟通、学习能力帮助学生提高自主学习能力,通过安排课堂讨论提升课堂教学效率。
当代社会也是一个倡导合作的社会,任课教师需要通过课堂教学将合作意识传递给学生,让学生可以通过课堂、课后的合作学习共同进步完成学习任务,学生之间的合作学习也可以帮助任课教师提升整体的课堂教学效率。
