1.无题(李商隐)

昨夜星辰昨夜风,画楼西畔桂堂东。

身无彩凤双飞翼,心有灵犀一点通。

隔座送钩春酒暖,分曹射覆蜡灯红。

嗟余听鼓应官去,走马兰台类转蓬。

For the stars, for the wind, last night we met East of cassia hall, west of bower of art. We have no wings to fly side by side. Yet One sharp arrow wounded yours and my heart. Warmer than spring wine, you hint how to bet. Burning like candle fire, I guessed truly smart. Alas, called morning drums. Stumbling on street, To duty at Royal Library, was this torn sheet.

2.观沧海(曹操)

东临碣石,以观沧海。水何澹澹,山岛竦峙。

树木丛生,百草丰茂。秋风萧瑟,洪波涌起。

日月之行,若出其中;星汉灿烂,若出其里。

幸甚至哉~歌以咏志。

The Sea

I come to view the boundless ocean From Stony Hill on eastern shore. Its water rolls in rhythmic motion, And islands stand amid its roar.Tree on tree grows from peak to peak;Grass on grass looks lush far and nigh.The autumn wind blows drear and bleak; The monstrous billows surge up high.The sun by day, the moon by night Appear to rise up from the deep. The Milky Way with stars so bright Sinks down into the sea in sleep.How happy I feel at this sight! I croon this poem in delight.

关关雎鸠,在河之洲.窈窕淑女,君子好逑.参差荇菜,左右流之.窈窕淑女,妩媚求之.求之不得,妩媚思服.优哉游哉,辗转反侧.参差荇菜,左右采之.窈窕淑女,琴瑟友之.参差荇菜,左右毛之.窈窕淑女,钟鼓乐之.

Cooing And Wooing

A pair of turtledoves;

A good young man is wooing A fair maiden he loves.

Water flows left and right Of cress long here, short there;

The youth yearns day and night For the good maiden fair.

His yearning grows so strong, He can not fall asleep,

But tosses all night lon,

So deep in love, so deep!

Now gather left and right

Cress long or short and tender! O lute, play music bright

For the bride sweet and slender! Feast friends at left and right On cress cooked till tender! O bells and drums, delight The bride so sweet and slender!

4.回乡偶书

少小离家老大回,乡音无改鬓毛衰。儿童相见不相识,笑问客从何处来Homecoming

Old, I return to the homeland I left while young,

Thinner has grown my hair, though I speak the same tongue.

My children, whom I meet, do not know who am I.

"Where are you from, dear sir?" they ask with beaming eye.

5.登幽州台歌(陈子昂)

前不见古人,后不见来者。念天地之悠悠,独怆然而涕下。

Travelling in the Mountains

A flag-stone path winds up into th chilly hills,

Where houses are just discernible amid the thick white cloud.

I stop my carriage for I love the maple trees in the twilight,

The leaves after early frost are as crimson as spring flowers

Seeing Meng Haoran Off from Yellow Crane Tower

故人西辞黄鹤楼,烟花三月下扬州。孤帆远影碧空尽,唯见长江天际流。At Yellow Crane Tower in the west My old friend says farewell;

In the mist and flowers of spring He goes down to Yangzhou;

Lonely sail, distant shadow, Vanish in blue emptiness;

All I see is the great river Flowing into the far horizon.

8.如梦令

To the Tune of Ru Meng Ling

昨夜雨疏风骤,浓睡不消残酒。试问卷帘人,却道“海棠依旧”。

“知否,知否,应是绿肥红瘦。”

Last night the rain was light, the wind fierce,

And deep sleep did not dispel the effects of wine.

When I ask the maid rolling up the curtains,

She answers, The crab-apple blossoms look the same.

I cry, Can't you see? Can't you see?

The green leaves are fresh but the red flowers are fading!

9.虞美人

春花秋月何时了,往事知多少~小楼昨夜又东风,故国不堪回首月明中。

雕栏玉砌应犹在,只是朱颜改。问君能有几多愁,恰似一江春水向东流。
