Sentences
1.The whole oil field consist of two
location. One is located A, while
another is located B. The produced
crude in location A and location B will
be transferred to floating production and
storage unit (FPSU) to be treated.
Location A, location B and FPSU are
linked by subsea pipeline.
2.Water injection requires that the 95
percent of micron diameter particles and
larger must be removed from seawater.
3.Discharge water shall have an oil
content not exceeding 30 ppm.
4.Each of the 16 production Christmas
trees inducts a maximum flowrate at
800m3/d liquid and 2000sm3/d gas from
reservoir to the surface facility.
5.Flow is controlled by a hand ---
operated choke valve in each of the
crude pipes.
6.When wellhead pressure is less than
650kpa, the artificial lift will be used. 7.Pressure and temperature measurement
will be provided at each Christmas tree
to assist in start-up and operation.
8.Well kill connections and provided on
each Christmas tree for both tubing and
casing.

tree enters the test manifold or the
production manifold through the chokes.

accept the maximum flow of 3000m3/d
liquid and 20000sm3/d gas from
wellhead.
12.The design (operation) pressure of
production separator is 800kpa.
13.The vessel is designed for a pressure
800kpa.
14.The test separator has two classes of
pressure protection. One is pressure
safety valve, the other is pressure
element for fire case or other emergency
cases.
15.The test separator is heat- traced to
avoid the contents cooling to below
30o C at all time.
16.Shutdown valves are installed on test
heater and production heaters as
pressure production of the 150 lb piping
systems on wellhead platform.
17.If heaters and separators occur high
high pressure or low low pressure,
shutdown valve will be closed.
18.Once the high level occurs in the test
separator and production separators, the
shutdown valve will be closed
immediately.
19.Well fluid will be separated into gas
and liquid (including oil and water) in
the test separator. Separated gas flows
to associated gas treatment system,
liquid flows to production separator.
Gas production is controlled by pressure controller, liquid production is
controlled by a level controller.
20.Gas from test separator and production
separator enters into associated gas
scrubber. In the vessel, entrained liquid
will be removed from associated gas
and discharge to closed drain vessel,
after gas is measured, it flows to
associated gas surge drum.
21.The natural gas is mainly sent to the
following users: gas turbines/waste heat recovery unit/fired heaters.
22.All oil lines are heat insulated and
electrically traced.
23.Oil lines are maintained at 30o C to keep
mobility of and water lines are
maintained 5o C to avoid freezing at
shutdown time.
24.Diesel oil is supplied from supply boat
to diesel tanks by pump on the supply
boat.
25.Diesel oil is used to displace crude from
wellbore when production wells are
shutdown and as fuel crane, workover
rig, gas turbine.
26.Diesel oil will be used as fuel of main
generators when natural gas is not
enough.
27.If process system shutdown, crude in
equipment is discharge to closed drain
vessel.
28.Potable water is transferred from shore
by a supply boat at regular intervals. 29.Steam system is intended to supply
steam purging workover purig and other equipment.
30.Instrument and plant air system is
intended to supply clean and oil --- free
compressed air for pneumatic
instrument and plant air hose. pressed air is divided into two
parts. One part of which is used as plant air. The other flows to air dryers and
regenerators, after filtering, it enters
instrument air receiver as instrument air.
32.The volume of instrument air receiver
is estimated to keep pneumatic
instrument in normal operation for
approximately 10 minutes after
shutdown of compressor.
33.Chemical system is intended to inject
chemical agent to various process points in order to effectively treat crude oil,
gas and water etc.
34.Glycol may be injected to prevent
hydrate as necessary when natural gas
or associated gas is transferred to
another platform due to through subsea
pipeline.
35.Drain system is intended to protect the
sea environment from pollution due to
direct discharge of drain.
36. Drain systems consist of three system
which are closed drain system, open
drain system and sewage disposal
system.
37.Closed drain vessel will receive liquid
from flare knockout drum as emergency condition.
38.Closed drain system is not only used to
collect oily liquid drainges, but also
receive some gas discharged from safety valve etc.
39.The sewage is sent to sewage treatment
unit or incinerators by gravity flow and
treated by chemical processing method.
40.Flare system is intended to dispose
surplus associated gas and natural gas
safely.
41.Gas is burnt down safely from flare tip
installed at top of flare boom.
42.Fuel gas will flow to flare tip if fuel gas
user is suddenly shutdown.
43.Heating medium is intended to supply
heat source to equipments and pipings
on all platforms.
44.Heating medium in waste heat recovery
unit is heat to 220o C, when it will be
sent to various users.
45.Heating medium expansion vessel must
be sealed by nitrogen.
46.If subsea flowline stops for a long time,
the crude in subsea flowline will be
cooled and the crude viscosity raises up.
47.If crude transfer pump do not restart the
subsea flowline, water injection pump
are used for restart.
48.In mast instances, the water injection
system and production system are
shutdown for maintenance, but most of
the utility systems are kept on line. 49. Stop the vacuum pump, and then close
the 2” ball valve on its seal water supply line.
50.The production system shutdown
includes shutdown of the crude handling systems and produced water handling
systems.
51.Turn off the power to the electric
dehydrators transformers.
52.Stop the flow of heating medium to the
heater treater preheaters by closing the
4” block valves on the shell---side inlet
to the exchangers.
53.Leave the shell---side outlet block valve
of the exchanger open to allow thermal
expansion and contraction of the heating medium fluid.
54.Close the block valves for chemical
injection at each injection.
55.After all fuel gas users have been
switched to an alternate fuel supply, the
fuel gas system can be shutdown.
56.Open BDV---1001 to depressurize the
fuel gas system into the flare system. 57.Stop the supply of propane or fuel gas
to the flare pilot and flame front
generator.
58.Stop the flow of purger gas to the flare
header by closing 1” gate valve
upstream of the pressure gauge.
59.All controller and switch setting are
shown on the P&I drawing, operators
should become thoroughly familiar with these drawing.
60. Cross check the process variables as
shown on local instruments with the
values shown in the control room on the control panels.
61.If it is necessary to climb the deaerator
tower for any reason, note the direction
of the wind before proceeding.
62.Check controller setpoints against the
values shown on the P&I drawings to be
sure they are correct.
63.If the ambient temperature falls below
15o C, the line heat tracing systems
should be turned on.
64.Sample the crude oil flowing to the
cargo tanks regularly to ensure the
BS&W content is adequate.
65.Check the level of the chemicals in the
chemical storage tanks. Refill the tanks
as required.
66.If the pressure drop across the filter
exceeds the vendor’s recommendation,
put the standby filter on line and replace
the filter elements.
67.Check the operation of the firewater
system periodically to ensure that it is
always in good working order.
68.The deoiling tank operation only
partially automated and requires special
operator attention.
69.The waste water pump can be restarted
after an adequate level has been re-
established in the deoiling tank.
70.Normally two of the waste water pumps
operate continuously and the third pump
is a spare.
71.Always open the SDV for the deoiling
tank entering the fill phase before
closing the SDV for the tank entering
the setting phase.
72.If the level is too high, drain the liquid
from the vessel by opening one of the
vessel manual drain valves.

1.The floating production storage unit
(FPSU) is a 57800 tons non-propelled
purpose built barge, designed to restrict
ice ingress. 浮式生产储油装置(FPSU)

growing beyond the capabilities of ice-
