Do you get angry when your friends sing loudly? Or when your best friend does not wait for you after school? If you do, you need to control(控制)your feelings and stop getting angry so easily. Getting angry easily can make you lose friends.Gary Egeberg, an American high school teacher, wrote My Feelings are Just Like Wild Animals to help you control your feelings. It tells teens how to stay cool when bad things happen to them. The book says that getting angry only makes problems worse. it can not make them better. "Getting angry is not a natural way to act", the book says. It is just a bad habit, like smoking. The book says you can control your anger easily, and all you have to do isto tell yourself not to be angry. When a baby falls over, it cries only when people are watching it. Like a baby, you can only get angry if you are sure it is the right thing to do.The book gives many suggestions to help you if you get angry easily. Here are the top three.① Keep a record. Every time you get angry, write down why you are angry. Look at It later and you will see you get angry too easily.② Ask your friends to stop talking to you when you get angry. You'd better forget all this and forgive (宽恕,原谅)him.Maybe it's not easy for you to do that, but it's possible. Please remember: Keep a good mood, and you will keep healthy. Staying angry with others, in fact, means letting others' mistakes treat yourself unfairly. How can you forgive others?First, think of something pleasant and try to get yourself happy.Second, don't wait others to say sorry to you. If anyone hurts you, he won't say sorry to you. He may just want to hurt you or just don't see things the same way.Third, try to see things in others' shoes. You can understand their minds better and make yourself a little happier. At last, try to know yourself very well. Whose mistakes caused that, yours or others'? It is a competition. ” My face turned red right now. I hadn’t spoken for a long time, especially in public. Then the teacher explained how trees in forests had to grow taller to receive more sunlight. 初二下第一次月考的英语作文仁爱版答案

初二下第一次月考的英语作文仁爱版答案全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Thoughts on KindnessHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a student in the 8th grade. For our latest English exam, we had to write an essay on the topic of kindness. I'll be honest, when I first saw the prompt I wasn't super excited about it. Kindness just seemed like one of those things adults are always going on about, you know? Like eating your vegetables or going to bed on time. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized kindness is actually a really big deal. So here are my thoughts! To me, kindness means going out of your way to be nice to someone, even if you don't really have to. It's about putting others before yourself sometimes. Like if you see someone struggling to carry a bunch of heavy bags, the kind thing to do would be to offer to help them out. Or if a new kid starts at your school, being kind means trying to make them feel welcome instead of ignoring them.I see kindness happening all the time at my school, which is really cool. Just little things, like someone holding the door open for the person behind them as they're walking into the building. Or classmates cheering each other on at a sports game or music recital. Sometimes it's bigger acts of kindness too. Like last year, when there was a family in our neighborhood whose house burned down in a fire. Our whole community rallied together to collect clothes, furniture, and money to help that family get back on their feet. It was incredible how supportive and generous everyone was.To me, those are the best kinds of kindness - the spontaneous acts that come straight from the heart, with no expectation of reward or praise. Not the formal, obligatory kinds of kindness where you only hold the door because an adult told you to be polite. Real kindness comes from within. It's a choice you make to make someone else's life a little bit better or easier, even in a small way.Of course, being kind isn't always easy. Sometimes you're having a bad day yourself, or you're running late, or you just don't feel like going out of your way to help someone. I get that. We're all human and can't be kind and selfless 100% of the time. But I do think it's something we should try for as much aspossible. Because at the end of the day, kindness has a way of making the whole world feel a little bit lighter. When someone is kind to me, it boosts my mood andself-confidence. Like when a friend passes me an encouraging note before a big test or performance. It makes me feel supported and cared about, which makes me want to be kind to others in return. It creates this cycle of kindness that keeps going around. How awesome is that?Sometimes it's hard to be kind when you're feeling down yourself. But funnily enough, being kind to someone else is one of the best ways to life your own spirits! It gets your mind off your own problems for a bit and reminds you that there's good in the world. I've experienced this firsthand. Like one day when I was having a terrible, no good, very bad day at school, I noticed a first grader had dropped all her books and papers in the hallway. Even though I was in a funk, I stopped and helped her pick them all up. Yeah, it was a tiny thing. But she was so smiley and grateful that it cheered me right up!Another reason kindness is so great? It's contagious! When you see someone being kind and generous, it inspires you to be kind and generous too. You feel that warmth in your heart and think "Hey, I want to make someone else feel that way." Then thepeople you're kind to might turn around and be kind to others, who are kind to others, and so on. It creates an awesome chain reaction of positivity and good vibes. The more kindness there is, the kinder the whole world becomes.I think we could all use a little more kindness these days. The world can be a harsh place sometimes, with plenty of negative things happening. But kindness is one of those simple things that costs nothing, yet can make a huge difference. It's easy to be kind - to smile at a stranger, to say please and thank you, to hold the door, to offer a compliment. For zero effort on your part, you can brighten someone's entire day. That's incredible if you think about it! Such a small act, but it matters so much.Of course, there are infinite ways to be kind, big and small. Helping someone carry their groceries, doing a favour for a busy neighbour, raising money for a good cause, volunteering your time at a shelter - the list goes on. But really, kindness is a mindset. It's about doing your best to be friendly, considerate, and generous whenever possible. If we all committed to that mindset and looked for ways to be kind every single day, just imagine how much better the world would be!I really do believe kindness has the power to change lives. Even just making someone's day a little bit brighter is soworthwhile. It makes you feel good about yourself too. There's no downside! So my philosophy is: If you have the opportunity to be kind, take it. Spread positivity and make the world a little bit lighter. Those random acts of kindness can mean more than you'll ever know.Well, that's my thoughts on kindness! Hopefully this essay has inspired you to be kind as well. Even the smallest acts of kindness can make a difference. So keep an eye out for opportunities to lend a hand, give a compliment, or make someone smile. You've got this! Thanks for reading, and remember: Choose kind.篇2My Idea of BenevolenceBenevolence is a big word that I had to look up in the dictionary. It means the desire to do good things and bring happiness to others. At first I thought it just meant being nice, but it's more than that - it's about actively trying to help people and make their lives better.I don't always live up to the ideal of benevolence, to be honest. Sometimes I can be selfish and only think about what I want. But I do try my best to be a good person who cares aboutothers. Here are some of the ways I try to practice benevolence in my daily life:Helping My FamilyThe people closest to me are my family members, so I start practicing benevolence at home. I help my mom with chores around the house like doing dishes, taking out the trash, and folding laundry. I know these little tasks make her life easier since she works so hard all day.For my little brother, I'll play games with him and help him with his homework when he gets stuck. He looks up to me, so I try to set a good example. Sometimes I get annoyed when he's bugging me, but I remember that being kind to your siblings is important. My grandparents live with us, so I always offer to help them out too. Little things like getting them a glass of water, reading out loud to my grandpa whose eyes are going bad, or just keeping them company mean a lot. They raised my mom and made huge sacrifices, so taking care of them is the least I can do.Being a Good FriendBenevolence means being loyal to your friends and putting their needs ahead of your own sometimes. If one of my friends ishaving a bad day, I'll lend an ear and give them a pep talk to cheer them up. Or I'll share my snacks from home if they forgot their lunch money.A true friend also sticks up for their friends against bullies. I've stepped in before when I saw someone being picked on just for being different or unpopular. Using hurtful words and excluding people is never cool in my book.I'm not perfect though - sometimes I get jealous if a friend is doing better than me at something. But overall, I work on being supportive and trustworthy instead of tearing my friends down out of pettiness.Helping at SchoolMy school has lots of opportunities to practice benevolence too. We can volunteer to tutor younger kids who are struggling with their schoolwork. Seeing their faces light up with pride when they finally understand something is awesome! Our class also does fund-raisers for different charities a few times a year. We've raised money for animal shelters, food banks, hospitals, you name it. Going door-to-door collecting donations teaches me not to be scared to ask people for help for a good cause. Some of my classmates are on the student council too. They voluntarily take on extra responsibilities like planning school events, campaigns against bullying, environmental projects, and more. I have a lot of respect for how hard they work to make our school community stronger.Caring for the EnvironmentTo me, being benevolent means considering the whole world, including nature. I care about taking care of the environment we all share. So I turn off lights when I leave a room, try to produce less plastic waste, recycle whatever I can, and remind my family to conserve water and electricity. My parents take me hiking and camping sometimes too. Being outdoors reminds me how amazing and beautiful our world is. But I also see litter and damage caused by inconsiderate people. It makes me determined to appreciate nature and protect it for future generations.Making the World BetterUltimately, I think practicing benevolence every day in small ways is what makes the world a slightly better place. You don't have to be a billionaire philanthropist to make a positivedifference. Just treating the people around you with kindness and looking out for others is a great start.Of course, I'm still just a kid with a lot to learn. I'm bound to make mistakes and slip up sometimes. But I'll keep working hard to develop a caring and generous spirit. My goal is to leave a trail of more smiles behind me everywhere I go. Hopefully when I grow up, I can take my small acts of benevolence and amplify them on a larger scale.Who knows, maybe I'll become a teacher and inspire thousands of students to be kind too. Or I could start my own charity helping people in need. Or create a company that does good for society while making a profit. The possibilities are endless when you approach life with an attitude of benevolence! The world can definitely use more benevolence and people looking out for each other. If we all tried to make the lives of the people around us a little better every day, through small acts of generosity and compassion, just imagine the profound impact it would have. I may only be one person, but I'm going to do my part. Benevolence makes the world stronger - that's my firmly held belief.篇3My Experiences With KindnessEver since I was a little kid, my parents have always taught me about the importance of being kind to others. "Treat people how you want to be treated," my mom would say. At first, I just kind of went along with it because she said so. But as I've gotten older, I've realized how true that simple phrase really is.I remember one time in 3rd grade, I was at recess playing kickball with my friends. There was this new kid, Sam, who had just transferred to our school. He was kind of shy and didn't have any friends yet. When it was his turn to kick, some of the bigger boys started teasing him about his haircut and the way he was holding the kickball. I could see Sam's face turn red with embarrassment. That's when my friend Jacob spoke up."Hey, leave him alone!" Jacob shouted at the bullies. "He's new here, give him a break." Jacob then walked over, showed Sam how to properly hold the ball, and gave him some encouragement. After that, the bullies backed off and Sam was able to take his turn without any more trouble.I'll never forget the grateful look on Sam's face after Jacob stuck up for him. From that day on, Sam was part of our kickball group at recess. It made me realize how much of a difference a simple act of kindness and compassion can make, especially forsomeone new or in an uncomfortable situation. If Jacob hadn't stepped in and been kind, who knows how long those bullies would have picked on Sam.Another experience that really drove this point home for me happened last year. Our class took a field trip to a elderly home to spend a day visiting with the residents there. I have to admit, I wasn't too thrilled about the idea at first. The thought of hanging out with a bunch of old people all day made me think it was going to be really boring. Boy, was I wrong. When we got there, we were split up into small groups and paired with a resident "buddy" to hang out with for the day. My buddy ended up being this sweet 87-year-old woman named Margaret. As soon as I met her, her warm smile and friendly personality put me at ease.Margaret showed me all around the home, introduced me to her friends, and never stopped asking me questions about my life - she was so interested to learn all about my hobbies, favorite subjects in school, you name it. I could tell Margaret didn't have many visitors, as she loved having the chance to hear from a "young person" as she called me.At one point, Margaret took me over to an old piano in the commons area. That's when she told me she used to be a pianoteacher when she was younger. Her eyes just lit up as she started playing some oldies but goodies from her teaching days. Watching her get so happy and animated by sharing her talent and passion with me, a total stranger, really touched my heart. When it was time to leave at the end of the day, Margaret gave me the biggest hug and made me promise to come back to visit her again soon. As we were boarding the bus, I overheard some of my classmates complaining about how boring the day was and how they couldn't wait to get back to video games. But my experience couldn't have been more different - spending the day with Margaret was one of the most meaningful experiences I've had. We may have been from totally different generations, but her kindness and the simple joy she took in my company was so special. These two experiences, among many others, have really shown me the incredible impact that kindness can have. Whether it's sticking up for someone being bullied, taking the time to make a new person feel welcome, or just being present and showing compassion to someone who is lonely, small acts of kindness truly do make a difference. They can brighten someone's entire day and make them feel valued.I've realized that being kind doesn't actually take that much effort on my part. It's such a simple concept - just treating others how I would want to be treated myself. But those little acts of decency, respect, and compassion can mean everything to the person on the receiving end. It makes their day better, and it makes me feel good about myself too.As I start my teenage years, I know there will be plenty of opportunities to let kindness and compassion guide the way I treat my classmates, friends, family members, and anyone else I encounter. I'll keep the memories of what Jacob did for Sam on the kickball field, and the joy that Margaret got from my visit, as reminders of the immense power of kindness. No matter how small the gesture, every act of kindness makes a positive impact.I hope I can continue to follow the example my parents set for me by being a kind and compassionate person who helps make the world a little bit better every day.。

仁爱英语八下第一次月考作文压轴题全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Awesome Summer VacationYay, it's time for another awesome summer vacation essay! I love writing these because it lets me relive all the crazy fun I had over the past few months. This summer was simply the best ever.I went on so many adventures and did a bunch of cool stuff that I can't wait to tell you all about it!The vacation kicked off with a huge bang - literally! My family and I went to watch the big fireworks show downtown on the 4th of July. The night sky was just bursting with colorful explosions of red, white, blue, and every other color you can imagine. My eyes were glued to the sky the whole time, mesmerized by the dazzling lights and thunderous booms. After the fireworks ended, we stuck around to listen to live music at the town square pavilion. Some really talented local bands were playing rock, country, and even mariachi tunes. I couldn't help but get up and dance along, which earned mesome laughs and cheers from the crowd. Hey, at least I have good rhythm!A couple weeks later, my parents surprised me and my little brother with a trip to the waterpark for his birthday. I'm talking massive twisting waterslides, a gigantic wave pool, lazy rivers to float along, you name it. We spent the entire day zipping down slides at what felt like warp speed, battling humongous artificial waves, and drifting around in inner tubes without a care in the world. By the end we were totally wrinkled up like prunes, but it was worth every second! My grandparents came to visit from out of state in late July, so we went on a fun road trip with them. We drove down the coast, stopping at quirky roadside attractions and exploring little seaside towns along the way. I'll never forget the time we visited this one tiny fishing village and I got to go out on a boat to learn how to catch crabs with a real crabber! Gramps said I was a natural crab-catcher. We cooked up our catch that night for dinner - the freshest, most delicious crab I've ever tasted.Of course, no summer is complete without a camping trip in the great outdoors. We pitched our tent up in the mountains and spent three glorious days hiking, swimming in glacial lakes, observing cool plants and critters, and roasting s'mores over thecampfire at night. Sleeping under a gazillion bright stars and breathing in that crisp, fresh mountain air felt incredible. One morning I even saw a massive elk strolling just a few feet from our campsite! On the way back from camping, we made a quick stop at the county fair that was going on. I rode so many crazy thrill rides like the Zipper, Tilt-A-Whirl, and Gravitron that I thought I might hurl up my cotton candy. Luckily, I have one seriously strong stomach! The fair also had amazing live music shows, carnival games where I won a giant stuffed teddy bear, and the most mouth-watering food like elephant ears, turkey legs, anddeep-fried everything. I may have gone a little overboard on the snacking...And those were just the biggest, most exciting highlights - I didn't even mention things like having slumber parties with friends, going to the movies to see all the latest blockbusters, or running through sprinklers in the backyard on scorching afternoons. Summer always goes by way too fast, but I tried my absolute hardest to milk every last drop of fun out of it this year. Now I'm back in class working hard and already counting down the days until next summer. I've only got about 270 days to go until I can embark on another season's worth of epicadventures and make a million more incredible memories! Maybe I'll finally convince my parents to take me skydiving. A kid can dream, right? Whatever the upcoming summer has in store, I'll be ready. Bring it on!篇2My Big DreamI have a super huge dream that I've had ever since I was a tiny little kid. My dream is to become a famous scientist and make an amazing discovery that will help the whole entire world! I'm going to work really really hard to make this dream come true. When I was just a baby, my parents read me lots of books about science and nature. They told me all about the different planets in our solar system and the animals that live in the oceans and rainforests. I was totally fascinated by all of it! As soon as I could read by myself, I read every science book I could get my hands on from the library. I loved learning about how things work and the secrets of the universe. In kindergarten, I did a science fair project on how plants grow and absorb water. My teacher was so impressed that she put my project on display in the school lobby for everyone to see! From that moment on, I knew I wanted to become a scientist when I grew up. Science is just the coolest thing ever. Now that I'm in 8th grade, my favorite subjects are definitely science and math. I get so excited about doing experiments in science class and solving tricky equations in math. I'm always raising my hand to answer the questions because I find it all so interesting and fun.Of course, being a great scientist takes a ton of hard work and perseverance. I study really hard and never give up, even when something is super challenging. Last year, I had the toughest time understanding algebra. I kept getting frustrated and wanted to just give up. But my parents and teachers encouraged me to stick with it. I went for extra help during lunch periods and after school. Slowly but surely, it started clicking and making sense. By the end of the year, algebra was no longer scary to me at all! This experience taught me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to, as long as I apply myself and don't quit. That's going to be so important when I get to college and have to take a bunch of really hard science classes to become a scientist. I can't wait for that challenge! My dream is to one day make a groundbreaking scientific discovery that improves life for people all over the planet. I'm not totally sure what field of science I want to go into yet. I'm really interested in biology, chemistry, environmental science, astronomy...pretty much all the sciences fascinate me! No matter what I end up specializing in though, my goal is to unlock new knowledge that helps protect the Earth's fragile ecosystems and helps humankind explore farther out into the cosmos.Maybe I'll find the cure for a terrible disease that's been plaguing people for ages. Or maybe I'll figure out a new sustainable energy source that doesn't pollute. Or maybe I'll lead the first human mission to Mars and bring back groundbreaking new data from studying the red planet! Really, the possibilities are endless when it comes to scientific research and I can't wait to get started on an exciting career of discovery and wonder.Becoming a world-famous scientist who makes the big leagues won't be easy, I know. I'll have to study extremely hard all through high school, college, graduate school and probably spend years and years doing research. There could be tons of setbacks and obstacles along the way too. But I'm prepared to put in the long hard hours and never quit chasing my dream no matter what. The rewards of being a pioneering scientist will make it all worth it in the end though. Not only will I get to continually learn new things and push the boundaries of human knowledge, but I'll get to travel all over the world sharing my discoveries. That's a scientist's life that I can't wait to experience!Just imagine - one day, people everywhere could know my name and talk about "the theory of..." or "the experiment led by..." It gives me chills thinking about how my hard work could literally change the course of science and human history forever. Wow!What could possibly be cooler than that? Sure, being an astronaut or pro athlete would be fun I guess. But they don't get to make cutting-edge discoveries that revolutionize our understanding of everything! To me, the life of a world-changing scientist is篇3My Awesome Summer VacationWow, where do I even start? This was the best summer vacation ever! I had so much fun and did a million cool things. Let me tell you all about it!It started on the very first day of vacation. My mom woke me up bright and early and said we were going on a surprise trip! I jumped out of bed, quickly got dressed, and we hit the road. After driving for a few hours, we ended up at...a beach house! My eyes went wide with excitement. We were going to the beach for a week!We spent our days swimming, building sandcastles, collecting seashells, and having picnics. The ocean was so big and beautiful. I loved jumping over the waves and watching the seagulls soar across the bright blue sky. One afternoon, we took a sailing trip on a small boat and I even got to steer it for a little while! The salty air, the warm sun, the gentle rocking of the boat...it was pure bliss. After our relaxing beach getaway, it was time to head back home. But the fun was just getting started! The very next week, my grandparents came to stay with us. I was overjoyed because they are two of my favorite people in the world. Grandma always has her bag of tricks filled with jokes, riddles, and magic tricks to keep me entertained. Grandpa takes me on adventures like hiking trips and fishing excursions. With my grandparents visiting, we stayed busy every single day. One morning, Grandma taught me how to make her famousblueberry pancakes from scratch. I loved cracking the eggs, mixing the batter, and finally taking those first delicious bites slathered in sweet syrup. Another day, Grandpa took me to the creek near our house to catch tadpoles and crayfish with a little net. Holding those squirmy critters in my hands and watching them swim around in a bucket filled me with wonder about the natural world. When my grandparents had to leave after those fun-filled two weeks, I was sad to see them go. But my mom had one more surprise up her sleeve! The next day, she told me to pack an overnight bag because we were going...camping! I had been begging to go camping for years, so you can imagine how thrilled I was. That night, we pitched our tent in the woodsy campgrounds, built a roaring campfire, and roasted gooey marshmallows under the starry sky. Sitting around the crackling flames, we told stories, sang songs, and giggled until our bellies hurt. When it got late, we zipped ourselves into our cozy sleeping bags and fell asleep to the soothing sounds of nature. The next morning, we went on a hike to explore the forest. We saw squirrels scampering, birds chirping, and wildflowers blooming in vibrant colors. The fresh pine scent filled my lungsand made me feel so alive and free. Our final camping adventure was a fishing trip at the nearby lake. I caught my very first fish all by myself! A tiny little sun-perch that we carefully released back into the water after snapping a photo to commemorate the moment. What an incredible experience.By the time we headed back home, I was one very tired but happy camper. I had dipped my toes in the salty ocean waves, baked delicious treats with my grandma, searched for critters with my grandpa, slept under a canopy of twinkling stars, and made new friends with the great outdoors. This summer was absolutely unforgettable! Now, I'm back at school daydreaming about those sunny, carefree days. I've got my jar filled with seashells, pine cones, and other treasures from my adventures to keep the memories alive. I'm already counting down the days until next summer when I can make a million more magical memories!篇4My Super Cool Summer VacationYay! Summer vacation was here at last! No more homework, tests or waking up super early. I was free to sleep in, play video games all day, and have fun. Summer is the best! The first week I just lazed around the house in my pajamas. I beat all my high scores on Candy Crush and watched every single episode of my favorite shows on Netflix. Mom had to basically force me to take a shower and get dressed each day. She's so annoying sometimes! Finally, my best friend Mike called and said we absolutely had to go do something fun. His mom drove us to the new trampoline park that just opened at the mall. Omigosh it was awesome! We jumped and flipped around for hours. I was crazy sore the next day but it was totally worth it.After that, we spent a ton of time at Mike's house gaming online together. We'd stay up way past our bedtimes shouting at each other and cracking up over our headsets. Mike's little brother is so annoying though and was always trying to join in. We'd have to lock ourselves in his room to get any peace and quiet.A few weeks into vacation, my parents decided we couldn't be lazy blobs all summer. They made us go to this gross outdoor camp for a few days. We had to do stuff like hike in the woods, pitch tents, and eat weird camping food. It was hot, sweaty, buggy, and no fun at all! I was so happy when we finally got to come home. After that awful outdoorsy torture was over, the neighborhood pool opened for the summer. That's where I spent most of my days after that. I'd meet up with Mike and our other friends and we'd swim for hours. The snack bar had the best french fries, chicken nuggets and ice cream. Getting packed into Mike's mom's mini-van completely soaked after was pretty gross though.Towards the end of the summer, my aunt and uncle visited from Wisconsin with my crazy cousin Billy. Billy is only a year older than me but behaves like a rotten three-year-old. He was always pestering us and trying to go everywhere with us. We'd try to leave without him but my parents made us take him along most times. Such a pain!We did get to go on some fun trips with my aunt and uncle though. We visited this awesome water park with giant slippy slides and a huge wave pool. Even Billy had fun that day. Another time we went to this lake and rented a boat for the day. Tubing was a blast and we got super sunburned. My aunt made us reapply sunscreen like a million times but we still got crispy. One evening my uncle took us to this boardwalk area with a huge arcade, roller coasters, and carnival games. Mike and I won the biggest stuffed animals by playing ball games. The look onBilly's dumb face when we wouldn't let him have the teddy bear was priceless! We are such brats sometimes. All too soon, summer vacation was coming to an end. We had one final sleepover camp-out in Mike's backyard to celebrate. We gorged on junk food, roasted marshmallows, and stayed up almost all night. I didn't want it to end! School mornings would return, winter coats, quizzes, and homework. Reality struck hard that first day back.Despite the occasional bummer moments, this washands-down the funnest summer ever. Mike and I created so many awesome memories that we'll never forget. Endless laughter, adventures, and silly times with friends is what summers are all about at our age. I'll always look back smiling on the summer of eighth grade! Now if only next summer would hurry up and get here already...篇5The Best Day Ever!Wow, I can't believe I'm writing about the best day of my whole entire life for my English exam! Where do I even start? I guess I'll start from the morning.I woke up super early because I was just too excited to sleep anymore. It was summer vacation and my parents had promised to take me and my little sister to the Magical Kingdom theme park! I had been looking forward to this day for month and months. I jumped out of bed and ran into my sister's room."Wake up, wake up! It's Magical Kingdom day!" I shouted, jumping on her bed. She groaned and pulled the covers over her head. Hehe, she's definitely not a morning person like me."Girls, calm down and get ready!" Mom called up the stairs. "We're leaving in an hour!"An hour?! I rushed to get dressed in my comfiest shorts and t-shirt. I put on my lucky pair of sneakers that light up with every step. Then I loaded up my big backpack with all the essentials - snacks, water, sunscreen, and a few small toys to play with in line. You always need to be prepared! We all piled into the car, my sister still looking a bit sleepy. But I could barely sit still, I was just so psyched. On the drive there, we sang along to all the Disney songs on the radio at the top of our lungs. The closer we got, the more I pressed my face against the window, trying to spot the park from far away. Finally, we made it to the parking lot and I could see the tall castle towers peeking out over the trees. I basically dragged my whole family through the entrance, I was going so fast. We passed through the golden gates and it was like entering another world. The sights, the sounds, the smells...it was all so magical!First up was meeting the Disney princesses. I got to give Belle a huge hug and she said she loved my blue dress that matched hers. Then we danced around in a little circle with Cinderella. My sister looked a little shy at first, but then she warmed up and happily hugged Rapunzel. What an amazing start!Next we went on as many rides as we possibly could. We zoomed through a haunted mansion where the cars looked like they were driving themselves. We soared high above the park in a flying ship ride with Peter Pan. We went for a whitewater rapid river rafting adventure. We got caught in the middle of a battle between pirates and then got totally drenched (but it felt awesome since it was so hot out!)Everything was so bright and colorful and fun. There were characters walking around taking pics everywhere I looked. You never knew who you might bump into - maybe Aladdin orWoody from Toy Story! I took a million selfies to remember it all forever. For lunch, we ate at an amazing restaurant inspired by the Disney movie Ratatouille. All the foods were tiny for the rat-sized chef characters. There were little bite-sized burgers,monkey-sized milk shakes, and peasant pudding cups. It was so creative and yummy! After refueling, we got a highhhhh sugar rush from strolling down the amazingly sweet Main Street where there were candy shops galore. We stopped in the Goofy Candy Co for aMake-Your-Own Ginormous Candy Bar experience. You could smoosh together literally any toppings or mix-ins you wanted into the biggest chocolate bar ever. I went totally over-the-top with mine, cramming it full of cookies, pretzels, gummy bears, you name it. It weighed like 5 pounds! Haha!We continued snacking our way through the rest of the day on a dizzying array of churros, popcorn, ice cream, and lemonades. We collected so many souvenir cups, pins, and wacky hats. We watched a spectacular 3D show that made it seem like projections were flying all around us. We met soooo many characters and barely had enough time to do it all.As the night drew closer, we staked out a spot along the parade route for the famous Magic-Lights Parade. All the most beloved Disney characters came waltzing by on these incredibly detailed, light-up floats and costumes. The songs, the dancing, the million twinkling lights...it was pure magic. I remember leaning against my mom during the grand finale, eyes wide with wonder, grinning from ear to ear.The absolute best way to wrap up the most magical day ever was watching the nighttime fireworks/musical show over the castle. We found a cozy spot on Main Street and looked straight up at the bursts of light and color exploding across the sky, perfectly choreographed to classic Disney tunes. My sister finally started dozing off during it, all tuckered out from the excitement. After the grand finale, we shuffled out of the park, footsore but deliriously happy. I was literally carrying so much merch that my arms could barely hold it all. My brand new Magical Kingdom spirit jersey, glittery mouse ears headband, and stuffed Goofy were my prized souvenirs. We put my sister on Dad's shoulders for the trek back since her legs had given out.I fell asleep instantly in the car, head still buzzing with the memories of the most wonderful, fantastical, amazingly awesome, over-the-top brilliant day ever at the MagicalKingdom. Even now as I write this essay for school, I can close my eyes and篇6My Most Memorable Summer VacationSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No school, no homework, just months of fun and freedom. Last summer was extra special though. I went on an epic adventure with my family that I'll never forget! It all started at the end of the school year. My parents sat me and my little brother down and asked where we wanted to go for our big summer trip. We started shouting out all sorts of crazy ideas - Disneyland, Hawaii, even Europe! My parents laughed and said we could go somewhere fun, but not that far away. After a long family discussion, we decided to go camping and hiking in the beautiful mountains near our city. I was a little disappointed at first because I really wanted to go to the beach. But my parents promised we'd have an exciting outdoor adventure. Little did I know just how exciting it would be!A few weeks later, we packed up our minivan with a ton of camping gear, food, and supplies. We had tents, sleeping bags, acamp stove, lanterns, and everything else we might need to survive in the wilderness. Well, not really the wilderness since we'd be staying at a campground. But it still felt like we were explorers about to embark on a thrilling expedition! The drive to the campground took forever. My brother and I fought over who got to use the iPad and Nintendo Switch. But we finally made it and set up our campsite just as the sun was setting. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows over the campfire. Eating smoky s'mores under the stars was pure bliss.Over the next few days, we went on some amazing hikes through the pine forests and up into the mountains. The views from the peaks were breathtaking -I could see for miles and miles in every direction. Up there it felt like we were on top of the world! One afternoon, our family went on a long hike to a beautiful alpine lake. When we arrived, my brother and I begged our parents to let us swim even though the water was freezing cold. They finally gave in and we splashed around for hours. It was so refreshing on that hot summer day.Another highlight was when we all went horseback riding through the woods and up into the hills. I was a little nervous around those huge animals at first. But our guide helped me feelcomfortable and showed me how to control the horse. It was a magical experience, gently riding a horse along the trails while the trees whooshed overhead.Camping was awesome too. We told spooky stories around the campfire at night, gazed at the bright stars and planets, and made s'mores for dessert every evening. During the days we played cards, went on short hikes, had relays and water balloon tosses, and just relaxed in the beautiful outdoors. No TV, no video games, just good old-fashioned fun.Possibly the most exciting moment was when a huge thunderstorm rolled in one night. The thunder was booming and shaking our tent. Lightning lit up the sky every few seconds in brilliant flashes. My brother was terrified and started crying. I tried to stay brave and comfort him. Suddenly there was an enormous crack of thunder that made us both jump. We screamed and clung to each other until the storm finally passed. What an adrenaline rush! After about a week of hiking, swimming, horseback riding, and campfire nights, it was finally time to go home. I was really sad to leave our wonderful outdoor paradise. But I also missed the comforts of home like my bed, TV, and video games. Most ofall, I just felt proud of myself for stepping so far out of my comfort zone and embracing new experiences. As we drove back to the city, I gazed out the window and reflected on our incredible family adventure. We made so many happy memories that I'll never forget. I can't wait to go on another fun trip like that again next summer. Maybe we'll finally get to go to Hawaii or Disneyland next time! A kid can dream, right? Whatever we do, as long as we're together as a family, I know it will be an amazing adventure.。
