语法知识

1.need

(1)当need做实义动词时，其后接名词、代词、或不定时。

E.g. You need to wear warm clothes.

She needs to go to hospital at once.

(2)当need做情态动词时，其后接动词原形，多用于疑问句和否定句中。在以must开

头的疑问句中，否定回答用need not。

E.g. ---Must I clean the room?

---No, you needn’t.

(3)need作名词，意为“需要，必需品”。

E.g. a friend in need is a friend in deed.
