吉他在流行音乐、摇滚音乐、蓝调、欧洲的一些民歌、佛朗明哥（一种由吉普赛人在西班牙创造的音乐形式）中，常被视为主要乐器。
而在古典音乐的领域里，吉他常以独奏或重奏的型式演出吉他笼统的分主要有两大类，咱就不细分了，要不能整出来十二十种来，：一是历史悠久、以木制共鸣箱扩音的木吉他，二是二十世纪时，大约是1920到1930年期间被发明的电吉他。
原声吉他有四种：民谣吉他、爵士吉他，古典吉他和弗拉门戈吉他。
吉他是怎么弹得我就不具体说了，大家肯定在电视里、街上啊、都看见过，也都知道吉他的记谱方法主要有两种，一是五线谱、二是六线谱，五线谱是很多乐器都采用的记谱方法，个人认为啊、五线谱是所有乐谱里最科学的，我也很喜欢五线谱，不象简谱，一堆数字、一堆点、一对小线、有时候数蒙了还得掰手指头数…六线谱、是吉他独有的记谱方式、主要应用于民谣、指弹和电吉他等现代弹法，古典吉他用的都是五线谱，跟钢琴一样，吉他的音域非常广，所以被人称作小钢琴，但和钢琴比优点确实不少啊，第一，轻、便宜（但是欧洲西班牙那块大师级的手工琴也有的是，好的卖个几百万欧元也不成问题），第二，不扰民，不找打（插音响的民谣和电吉他除外）吉他的音域和音位：除了一些泛音和特殊调弦外，吉他基本音域是从Ｅ到ｂ２，实际音高是从Ｅ１到ｂ１。
而且吉他的音域几乎就是人声的全部音域，这也就是吉他优美的声音为什么总是那么打动人心，不经意的拨弄都能深入人们的心灵唤起人们深藏的感情的原因之一。
因此吉他常被称为是“心灵的乐器”。
下面讲一下吉他的发展简史吉他的祖先，可以追溯到公元前两三千年前古埃及的“耐法尔”，这个人的介绍反正是哪也找不到，就不讲了。

How to play the guitar

I have been playing the guitar for almost three years. I’m going to show you guitar’s basic skill, it’s very simple. All of you will be able to sing this song with playing the guitar after my introduction.
You should know about guitar itself. This is the structure of guitar, pay close attention to ‘Fret’ and ‘Fret board’, I will mention it later.
There are two sitting positions for holding the guitar,: casual and classical. Let’s see the casual position, keep the concave part of guitar on your right leg, and your right hand’s elbow on the bulge of guitar. It is important that you relax your wrists and hands.
When you play the guitar, you use your left hand fingers to press down the strings on the fret board of the guitar and use your right hand to pluck or strum the strings at the bridge end of the guitar. Here are some tips you will need to know:
1. Short fingernails are essential.
2. Use only the tips of your fingers to press the strings.
3. When making a chord, be sure that each fingertip is placed directly behind the fret. Finally, read Tablature. Pluck strings where the numbers are.
Left hand
Number zero on the strings mean that your left hand finger doesn’t have to press down this string on the fret board, you just neet to pluck it with your right hand finger. Number one or two or other numbers on the strings mean that your left hand fingers have to press down these strings on the numbered fret, and then pluck them with your right hand fingers.
Right hand
