Topic Weather教学设计

教学内容分析

本话题是Talking about the weather，通过本节课的学习使学生掌握描述天气的基本词汇及对天气的提问及回答，学会准确地表达天气，学会做天气预报，使学生能够在实践中体会到学习英语的乐趣，更积极地运用目标语言，培养学生在实际生活中综合运用所学语言能力。

学情分析

对于七年级第二学期的学生来说，在经过小学和七年级上半学期的英语学习，已经具备了一定的英语基础。他们已经掌握了一些单词，含有be动词的陈述句，一般疑问句及特殊疑问句，对西方国家也有一些粗略的了解，这些对于学生学习本课天气的问答都很有帮助。

学习目标

1.知识与技能：学习掌握表述天气状况的词汇；学会运用目标语言谈论当今的天气和不同地方的天气。

2.过程与方法：通过学会谈论天气能做天气预报员。

3.情感态度与价值观：通过谈论天气，使学生增进和朋友之间的沟通。通过关注天气状况，培养学生热爱自然。

重难点

1.教学重点

掌握weather的用法以及表述天气的名词变形容词的构词法。

熟练运用句型

---How is the weather?/What is the weather like?

---It’s sunny/windy/cloudy/rainy….

教学过程

Step1.Guide students to watch a video about weather.

Step2.Guide students to learn the usage of weather.

Step3.Students do the exercise to grasp the usage of weather.

Step4.Teach the students how to ask about weather.

Step5.Students look at the pictures and learn the new words about weather.

Step6.Teach students use the target language:

---How is the weather?/What’s the weather like?

---It’s sunny/windy/cloudy/rainy….

Step7.Students do the exercise to grasp the target language. ---How is the weather?/What’s the weather like?

---It’s sunny/windy/cloudy/rainy…. Step8.Review what students have learned in this class.

Step9.The teacher does a weather report of China.

本节课使用视频图片多媒体来辅助教学，效果较好，使学生产生对英语的兴趣。在最后教师通过做天气播报，一方面复习了本课所学天气表达的知识，另一方面激发学生兴趣，课后也用所学天气的表达方式自己尝试做一个天气预报员。
