①(2019·北京卷书面表达)I’m very glad to know that you’re coming to tour in China.→I’m more than delighted to know that you’re coming to tour in China.②(2019·全国卷Ⅰ书面表达)I hope you can consider my application and allow me to be a volunteer.→I hope you can take my application into consideration and allow me to be a volunteer.③(2019·全国卷Ⅰ书面表达)So I can serve as a volunteer to show the visitors around the gallery and I am sure that I am fit for the job.→So I can serve as a volunteer to show the visitors around the gallery and I am convinced thatI am qualified for the job.④(2019·全国卷Ⅱ书面表达)As a result, enough preparation is urgently needed, including practice, nutrition and a perfect plan.→As a consequence, adequate preparation is urgently needed, including practice, nutrition and a perfect plan.⑤(2019·天津卷书面表达)I want to make my voice heard.→I feel an urge to make my voice heard.⑥Only when you do more reading and writing can you succeed in improving your English.→Only when you do more reading and writing can you make it in improving your English.⑦To our great joy, not only are our classes lively and appealing, but our school life is also richand colorful.→To our great joy, not only are our classes lively and attractive, but our school life is also rich and colorful.⑧(2018·全国卷Ⅱ书面表达)Great changes have taken place in our school in the last few years. And the news came that a short film will be shown in our school.→Our school has witnessed great changes in the last few years. And word came that a short film will be shown in our school.[策略2]更新换代,避免重复写作时应尽量避免重复使用相同的词语,要用贴切多样的词语来展示自己的水平。
形容词、副词递减的比较等级的构成★★在形容词、副词前加less和least,表示“较不”和“最不”:interesting有趣的less interesting较无趣的least interesting最无趣的important重要的less important较不重要的least important最不重要的★★有些形容词可以加er及est或前面加上more / most来形成比较级和最高级polite – politer 或more polite – politest 或most polite ,这类词还有quiet,handsome,pleasant,common,exact等.II.
短文改错4步曲——再看句法技法一明确定语从句类型,关系词要分清1.(2018·全国卷Ⅰ)They also had a small pond which they raised fish.
2. (2017·全国卷Ⅲ)Around me in the picture are the things they were very important in my life at that time: car magazines and musical instruments.
3.(2016·四川高考)The dishes what I cooked were Mom’s favorite.
4.(2018·陕西西安八校联考)I am a 25-year-old young man which graduated from the Foreign Languages Department of Jilin University.
5.There are many people think that wealth is better than health.解析:think前加who或think→thinking分析句子结构可知,people后为定语从句,先行词为many people,故用who引导该定语从句;因many people和think之间是主谓关系,也可以用现在分词thinking作many people的后置定语。

Firstly, as a keen geographer, I wanted to make a positive difference to the environment. Secondly, I was fascinated by the prospect of observing and interacting(互相影响) with the environmental work. Thirdly, I was eager to meet new people with similar values to mine. The work was separated into two weeks. The first week was spent working on a path alongside the waterfall Dettifoss. Large amounts of tourist erosion had occurred off the main path upon the surrounding vegetation. Thegoal was to line the original path with large rocks to prevent people from straying onto the surrounding area.Teamwork was essential here; while around half the volunteer team prepared the path to be lined, the others collected the large rocks in pairs, making a large number of trips to and from the path. Independent work would have been ineffective, so it was necessary to use teamwork skills. The second week involved the removal of Lupinus, an invasive, foreign plant species. Working alongside senior members of the Iceland Environment Agency, I gained a valuable insight(了解) into the daily routines of such an organization, and its values of teamwork, efficiency, and sustainability(可持续性).Both weeks required a strict schedule to be met. In both weeks, the team was camping. On workdays, it was necessary to be awake by 8am, to be out of the tent, to have breakfast, and to have made lunch by 9am, and to set off for work as soon as possible thereafter. Optimistic targets were set for each day with high spirits, good teamwork, self-motivation and effective schedule. The targets were met without fail.Overall, my time in Iceland proved to be a valuable experience, during which I developed a wide range of employability skills and acquired a valuable knowledge about the importance of conservation and sustainability for our natural environment.1.Why did the author go to Iceland for two weeks? ________A.To take his holiday there.B.To gain some work experience.C.To do some voluntary work there.D.To research the environment there.2.What was the team's task in the second week in Iceland? ________A.To treat a common local disease.B.To meet some geography experts.C.To remove a kind of foreign plant.D.To visit the path along the waterfall.3.What did the author think was the most important thing to their work in Iceland? ________A.High spirits. B.Teamwork.C.Optimistic targets. D.Self-motivation.4.We can infer from this text that the author ________.A.is an expert in planting LupinusB.is determined to visit Iceland againC.is praised by the Iceland Environment AgencyD.greatly values his experience in IcelandBThe term “lifelong learning” is often used to define the attitude of staying in a learning mode. It is a term that is used loosely and lacks structure, importance, value and support in India. Many developed countries, for example Canada, have government programs based on UNESCO guidelinesand even offer financial support under Lifelong Learning Plans(LLPs). In the Indian context, learning is often done to earn a degree. We are a degree-oriented country. A hard fact that these degrees are sometimes mere pieces of paper, which do not establish any fact of real learning happening, or that some degrees do not help get a job in today's times, is still not an accepted reality. The concept of voluntary and continuous learning, whether to enhance professional or personal skills, is still a long shot in India. The whole idea of lifelong learning recognized the fact that not all learning need be formal, or restricted to student life until the age of twenty-eight years. It can be a process that is continuous throughout life, based on situations and varied needs. Take the case of a retired professional. She may be interested in fine arts, but wasn't able to do so in her career. Can't she then enroll(登记) in a degree program of fine arts after retirement? Our current system doesn't quite support such needs of learning, for it doesn't admit anybody beyond the age of 45.Another aspect of lifelong learning is “life-d eep learning”. It is another word for value education or value-based teaching. In earlier times, there used to be period in classroom learning called moral science that taught the importance of right versus wrong.Further, “life-wide learning” is a term th at refers to lateral(横向的)learning —from experiences and situations different from formal, structured education. These three concepts —lifelong learning, life-deep learning and life-wide learning —constitute the framework of UNESCO's recommendation to take education to the next level.5.The term “lifelong learning” is used to ________.A.show the attitude of studying hardB.describe the status of keeping a positive learningC.define the importance of knowing the outside worldD.explain the concept of staying informed on all trends6.Which of the following cannot be used to describe “lifelong learning”? ________.A.V oluntary. B.Continuous.C.Important. D.Formal.7.What can we infer from the example of the woman in Paragraph 3? ________.A.She didn't do well in her career before retirement.B.She didn't become an artist until the age of 45.C.She gained a chance to study fine arts after retirement.D.The elderly lose the right of study in the current system.8.Which of the following has the same effect of “life-deep learning”? ________.A.Value-based teaching.B.Life-wide teaching.C.Lifelong teaching.D.Formal education.Ⅳ.书面表达非谓语动词+阅读理解+书面表达答案Ⅰ.1.waiting2.standing3.to take4.throwing5.understand6.questioned7.knowing8.to be completed9.used1.leftⅡ.1.to make2.based3.to search4.putting5.troubled6.sitting7.listening8.talk9.be expressed1.holdingⅢ. 由第一段中的“The term’lifelong learning’ is often used to define the attitude of staying in a learning mode.” 由第三段中的“The whole idea of lifelong learning recognized the fact that not all learning need be formal”可知,并不是所有的学习都是正式的,终身学习不同于正规学习.7. 由第四段中的“Another aspect of lifelong learning is’lifedeep learning’. It is another word for value education or valuebased teaching.”

High school exit tests are tests that students must pass to graduate from high school. In the last few years, however,a number of states in America have dropped them.Although some states still use them for diplomas, the number is down from a high of 27 states during the testing craze promoted by No Child Left Behind (NCLB).The appearance of this phenomenon is a small wonder.Researches clearly show that exit tests have little positive effects on students.A 2014 report found exit testing was associated with lower graduation rates, negatively affected labor market outcomes, and, most alarmingly, produced a 12.5percent increase in incarceration(监禁) rates.Exit exams, the study concluded, had tended to add little value for most students.Exit testing relies on the following assumptions. One is that standardized testing can serve as a kind of “quality control”for high school graduates, guaranteeing that graduates are college ready. The other is that they have predicting value for future success in academic situations. But there is little evidence. The tests don’t exactly measure what they pretend to measure. For example, qualities such as intelligence, academic ability, college readiness are not determined. Those that should be developed in all young people, like responsibility, critical thinking, and empathy(同理心),are not measured, either.Even supporters of exit tests have acknowledged that they don’t offer reliable data. Thus, more and more people are suggesting that exit test scores ought to be just one component of the high school diploma.Schools should consider many other records including credits earned, courses taken, activities, service, projects and other elements of academic accomplishment so that students can be evaluated flexibly. In other words, exit test scores should never be the only criterion for high school diplomas. High school exit tests have been cancelled in some states in America in recent years. This is not surprising because studies show they do little good to students.Instead of ensuring college readiness and academic success, they actually don’t measure what should be measured. Therefore, exit test scores should only be one part of the standards of high school diplomas.B阅读下面短文,根据其内容写一篇60词左右的内容概要。
专题05阅读理解之议论文1.(2020届安徽省蚌埠市高三第三次质检)Scientist,conservation organizations and government trying to stop the trend of extinction (灭绝)often focus on protected areas such as national parks and wildlife preserves. But with as many as million species(物种)at risk, this plan of action may not be enough to conserve wildlife.Slowing the mass extinction that now appears to be underway will require more creative means of coexisting alongside wild plants and animals. A new study indicates the effectiveness of some such approaches by examining some lands managed by indigenous groups.“ We show really strongly that, from a biodiversity standpoint in terms of species richness, indigenous -managed lands are at least comparable to protected areas,” says biologist Richard Schuster of Carleton University. And in some places, they are better than parks and preserves -even though indigenous communities may use their lands’ resources by hunting or searching for food.Schuster and his team analyzed more than 15,000 areas in Australia,Brazil and Canada. They found that the total diversity of wildlife was highest on lands either managed or co -managed by indigenous groups, while randomly selected areas with no formal protection were the least bio-diverse. For threatened species in particular, indigenous lands scored slightly higher than protected lands on overall species richness in Brazil and Canada,as well as higher for threatened animals in Australia. Each country has a different geography, climate and history. Yet remarkably,Schuster says, the best indicator for species diversity is whether a given area was managed by an indigenous community. He pointed out that practices such as sustainable(可持续的)hunting, fishing and searching,as well as burning, are more likely to occur in such areas. Don Hankins,an ecologist at California State University, agrees. “ there’ s probably going to be more of a connection to the land,” he says,“ and a use of the land for the things that are there, compared to a national park. ”“ It’ s really important to listen to the people who live on the land and have them drive the stewardship efforts going forward,” Schuster says, adding that partnering with indigenous communities may enable the world’ s countries to better meet a wide range of conservation goals:“ We really need all the help we can get as a global community to prevent species extinction that we’ re facing right now. ”8.What does the underlined word “ indigenous” probably mean in Paragraph 2?A.Social. B.Native.C.Protected. D.Threatened.9.What did Richard Schuster find in his study?A.National parks are even higher in species diversity.B.Indigenous communities overhunted on their lands.C.Some preserves almost have no formal protection.D.Indigenous lands do better in keeping bio-diversity.10.Which of the following statements may Don Hankins agree with?A.Species diversity depends on geographical positions.B.Humans’ everyday activities are no longer sustainable.C.Indigenous groups have a close bond with their lands.D.Protected areas work perfectly in wildlife protection.11.What is the text mainly about?A.Beating back extinction. B.Dealing with environmental problems.C.Setting up nature reserves. D.Fighting against unsustainable behaviors.【答案】8.B9.D10.C11.A【解析】本文为议论文。

It’s tough to be an Asian kid in America. The pressureto excel in school is intense, and the expectations from parents and society are high. I know, because I am one.Ever since I was little, my parents have pushed me to do my best in everything I do. Whether it was schoolwork, sports, or even just a hobby, they expected nothing but the best from me. And while I am grateful for their support and encouragement, it has also often felt like an unbearable burden.I remember when I was in high school, my parents would constantly compare me to other Asian kids who were doingbetter in school. They would ask why I wasn’t gettingstraight A’s like them, why I wasn’t involved in as many extracurricular activities, and why I wasn’t as successfulas they were. It felt like no matter what I did, it was never good enough. The pressure to succeed was not just coming from my parents, but also from the larger Asian community. It seemed like every Asian kid I knew was going to an Ivy League school, becoming a doctor, or becoming a lawyer. There was this unspoken expectation that we had to be successful, andanything less was a disappointment. This pressure to excel has taken a toll on my mental health. I have struggled with anxiety and depression for years, and I know I’m not alone. Many Asian American kidsface similar challenges and often suffer in silence becauseof the stigma surrounding mental health in our community. But despite the overwhelming pressure and expectations, I refuse to let it define me. I have come to realize that my worth is not determined by my grades, my career, or myachievements. I am more than just a stereotype, and I refuse to be boxed in by the narrow expectations of society.I am proud of my Asian heritage, but I am also an individual with my own dreams, passions, and interests. I want to pursue a career that fulfills me, whether it aligns with the traditional expectations of my culture or not. I want to prioritize my mental and emotional well-being, even if it means disappointing my parents and the larger Asian community. I want to live my life on my own terms, not on the expectations of others. As Asian kids in America, we need to break free from the suffocating pressure to excel and define success on our own terms. We need to support each other in pursuing our own passions and dreams, even if they deviate from thetraditional path of success. We need to prioritize our mental health and well-being, and not be ashamed to seek help when we need it.I believe that we can create a new narrative for Asian kids in America. One that celebrates our diversity, individuality, and resilience. One that allows us to pursue our own paths to success and fulfillment, without the suffocating pressure of expectations. And one that embraces our struggles and vulnerabilities, instead of hiding them in shame. It’s tough to be an Asian kid in America, but it’s also a privilege. We have the opportunity to redefine what it means to be successful, to break free from the narrow expectations of society, and to carve our own paths in this world. Let’s not waste this opportunity. Let’s stand up for ourselves and each other, and create a future where Asian kids can thrive on their own terms.。

It was the day of the big cross-country run. Students from seven different primary schools in and around the small town were warming up and walking the route(路线)through thick evergreen forest.I looked around and finally spotted David, who was standing by himself off to the side by a fence. He was small for ten years old. His usual big toothy smile was absent today. I walked over and asked him why he wasn’t with the other children. He hesitated and then said he had decided not to run. What was wrong? He had worked so hard for this event!I quick ly searched the crowd for the school’s coach and asked him what had happened. “I was afraid that kids from other schools would laugh at him,” he explained unfortably. “I gave him the choice to run or not, and let him decide.”Ibit back my frustration(懊恼).I knew the coach meant well— he thought he was doing the right thing. After making sure that David could run if he wanted, Iturned to find him ing towards me,his small body rocking from side to side as he swung his feetforward. David had a brain disease which prevented him from walking or running like other children, but at school his classmates thought of him as a regular kid. He always participated to the best of his ability in whatever they were doing. That was why none of the children thought it unusual that David had decided to join the cross-country team. It just took him longer —that’s all. David had not missed a single practice, and although he always finished his run long after the other children, he did always finish. As a special education teacher at the school, I was familiar with the challenges David faced and was proud of his strongdetermination.

An owner of a dress shop had problems with a young lady, a psychology major, whom she had hired as a salesgirl. The first day a lady came into the store, and the salesgirl, Miss Brampton, asked if she could be of help."I’d like a suit for the fall," the lady said."Well, do you want the suit because you need it? Or have you just had a fight with your husband and are trying to get even by making an expensive purchase?""I beg your pardon?" the lady said."Perhaps you suspect he has a girlfriend, and you think this is the only way you can get back at him.""I have no idea what you’re talking about," the customer said."Spending money in anger is an expensive form of hostility(敌意). My advice is to think it over for a few days. Buying a new suit won’t save your marriage.""Thank you!" the customer said coldly and left the shop."She’s angry with me now," Miss Brampton whispered, "but in a week she’ll be grateful to me."The shop owner decided to let the incident pass, but that afternoon another customer came in, and Miss Brampton asked if she could be of help. The lady told her she was going to the Kennedy Center, and wanted a dress that would knock everyone dead. Miss Brampton said, "We have some lovely evening dresses over here for insecure people.""Insecure people?""Yes. Didn’t you know clothes are one of the main ways women compensate for insecurity?""I’m not insecure," the lady said angrily."Then why do you want to knock them dead at the Kennedy Center? Why can’t you be accepted for yourself instead of what you wear? I can sell you a new dress that will attract attention, but then you would never know if it is you or the dress that makes people stop and stare."

It was summer, and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West.We took a plane to Albuquerque,a big city in the state of New Mexico. We reached Albuquerque in the late afternoon.Uncle Paul,my dad’s friend, picked us up from the airport and drove us up to his farm in Pecos. His wife Tina cooked us a delicious dinner and we got to know his sons Ryan and Kyle.My dad and I spent the night in the guestroom of the farm house listening to the frogs and water rolling down the river nearby.Very early in the morning,Uncle Paul woke us up to have breakfast.“The day starts at dawn on my farm,”he said. After breakfast,I went to help Aunt Tina feed the chickens, while my dad went with Uncle Paul to take the sheep out to graze(吃草).I was impressed to see my dad and Uncle Paul riding horses. They looked really cool.In the afternoon,I asked Uncle Paul if I could take a horse ride, and he said yes,as long as mydad went with me.I wasn’t going to take a horse ride by myself anyway. So,my dad and I put on our new cowboy hats, got on our horses, and headed slowly towards the mountains.“Don’t be late for supper,”Uncle Paul cried,“and keep to the track so that you don’t get lost!”“OK!” my dad cried back. After a while Uncle Paul and his farm house were out of sight. It was so peaceful and quiet and the colors of the brown rocks, the deep green pine trees, and the late afternoon sun mixed to create a magic scene. It looked like a beautiful woven(编织的) blanket spread out upon the ground just for us.
Paragraph 1:Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse.Paragraph 2:We had no idea w here w e w ere and it got dark. 已给提示词汇:dad,Uncle Paul, farm house, river, feed, sheep, late, track, get lost,sight2.话题激活词汇:情感:panic,relieved,nervous,worried动作:run,cry,think to oneself环境:scenery,mountain,range,valley,river,lake,forest,sun,set,wind,blow◆布局谋篇1. Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse.。
We had no idea where we were and it got dark.
Suddenly a little rabbit jumped out in front of my horse. My horse turned to the left to avoid the little rabbit as I held on tightly and tried not to fall. Then my dad turned around and shouted,“Hold on!” All of a sudden the horse began to run.My dad tried to keep up behind us.For a few minutes my horse slowed down to a trot and then stopped beside a river.I looked around and realized that we were way off the track. We had no idea where we were and it got dark.Luckily the stars came out and gave us a little light when we were looking for the way to the farm house. After what must have been several hours,we suddenly heard the sound of sheep in the distance. My dad and I both rode our horses towards the sound of the sheep. As we got closer we saw Uncle Paul with a flashlight waving us over.
On a bright, warm July afternoon,Mac Hollan,a primary school teacher, was cycling from his home to Alaska with his friends. One of his friends had stopped to make a bicycle repair, but they had encouraged Mac to carry on,and they would catch up with him soon.As Mac pedalled(骑行) along alone,he thought fondly of his wife and two young daughters at home.He hoped to show them this beautiful place someday. Then Mac heard quick and loud breathing behind him.“Man,that’s a big dog!”he thought. But when he looked to the side,he saw instantly that it wasn’t a dog at all,but a wolf, quickly catching up with him.Mac’s heart jumped. He found out his can of bear spray. With one hand on the bars,he fired the spray at the wolf.A bright red cloud enveloped the animal, and to Mac’s relief,it fell back, shaking its head. But a minute later,it was by his side again. Then it attacked the back of Mac’sbike, tearing open his tent bag.He fired at the wolf a second time, and again,it fell back only to quickly restart the chase(追赶).Mac was pedalling hard now.He waved and yelled at passing cars but was careful not to slow down.He saw a steep uphill climb before him.He knew that once he hit the hill,he’d be easy caught up and the wolf’s teeth would be tearing into his flesh. At this moment,Paul and Becky were driving their car on their way to Alaska. They didn’t think much of it when they saw two cyclists repairing their bike on the side of the road.A bit later, they spotted what they, too, assumed was a dog running alongside a man on a bike.As they got closer, they realized that the dog was a wolf.Mac heard a large vehicle behind him.He pulled in front of it as the wolf was catching up fast, just a dozen yards away now.
