英语学习活动观为初中英语阅读教学提供了理论框架，对于英语教师的课堂实践具有重要的指导意义。
本文以人教版初中英语七年级下册Unit10 Section B“Birthday food around the world”的阅读教学为例，探讨了如何在英语学习活动观指导下解读文本，开展教学活动和实施阅读教学，最终实现提高初中阅读教学成效的目的。

一、当前初中英语阅读教学所面临的困境阅读是初中英语教学的重要内容，在阅读教学过程中，教师仍然面临着困境，造成这些困境的原因主要有：教师对于语篇的研读缺乏深层次的思考，对于关键的逻辑联系把握不准确；设立的教学目标不具体，且缺乏关联性与层级性；教师在设计教学活动时，往往脱离学生的生活实际，没有呈现真实的情境；教学过程中，忽视教学评价的重要性，未能实现“教—学—评”一体化。
二、英语学习活动观对初中英语阅读课堂教学的重要性英语学习活动观对初中英语阅读教学具有重要的指导意义，是一种教育理念与方式的统称，即以活动为核心组织和实施英语教学的理念和方式。
针对初中英语阅读教学所面临的困境，教师应在教学过程中与时俱进，及时更新教育教学理念，在英语学习活动观的指导下设计教学活动，引导学生逐步实现从基于语篇的学习走向深入语篇和超越语篇的学习。
三、基于英语学习活动观的初中英语阅读教学理念（一）关注主题意义，深度研读语篇在阅读教学中，教学设计与实施要以主题为引领，以语篇为依托。
对此，教师要对文本进行深入全面的解读，从而明确教学核心内容。
