The solution is stored in a brown titration glass bottle.1.2):- 10 mL of sodium periodate solution are pipetted into a 250mL flask and filled up with water.- 500 mg of glycerin are dissolved in 50 mL water and 50 mL of the diluted periodate solution was added. Wait for 30 min.- Blank: 50 mL of the diluted periodate solution was added to 50 mL water. Wait for 30 min.- 20 mL aliquots of both solutions were acidified with 1 mL of 1.0 mol/L HCl. 10 ml 0.6 mol/L KI-solution are added. Deion.water was added to achieve a volume of 50 mL. The released iodine was titrated with 0.1 mol/L sodium thiosulfate.2): 500 mg glycerin are weighed in a titration beaker and 50 mL deion. water were added. For a blank determination 50 mL deionized water were added separately into a titration beaker. The pH was adjusted to 7.8 for both solutions. 50 mL of the sodium periodate solution was pipetted into each beaker and covered wih a watch glass. Both solutions were allowed to stand for 30 min at room temperature. 10 mL of a PEG (polyethyleneglycol)/water mixture (1:1, v:v) were added to both solutions and allowed to stand for 20 min.1): According to USP26 the ratio between the volume of 0.1 mol/L sodium thiosulfate required for the glycerin containing mixture to that for the blank should be between0.750 and 0.765. The obtained ratio was 0.750. This ratio was regarded as a proof that the periodate solution is suitable for the analysis of the glycerin content.2) Acid base titration: The nominal concentration of the glycerin solution was 0.04995 mol/L (0.5061 g in 110 mL). This corresponds to a recovery of 98.90% (see results: mean value of the obtained glycerin concentration). Blank and sample determinations were performed in the same EQP-titration mode and the obtained blank value (mmol) was substracted from the sample value (mmol) in order to account for the acidity in the solvent not corresponding to the released formic acid.3) Oxidation of glycerin with periodate:CH 2OH-CHOH-CH 2OH + 2IO 4-= HCOOH + 2 HCHO + 2 IO 3-+ H 2OOne mole of glycerin corresponds therefore to one mole of formicacid. Formic acid (M = 46.025, z = 1) was titrated with sodium hydroxide.Literature:"USP 26 -Official monographs / Glycerin" p. 867R1=Q-B[Glycerin]; mmol R2=(Q-B[Glycerin])*C/m C=1/z ; mol/LB[Glycerin]: Blank valueThe glycerin content is determined according to USP 26 with acid base titration: Formic acid that is released from glycerin by quantitative reaction with sodium periodate is titrated with sodium hydroxide. Beforehand the suitability of the periodate solution is validated by redox titration using sodium thiosulfate as titrant.Potassium hydrogen phthalate, 80 mg Thomas HitzName: Thomas Hitz, ID Glycerin ContentRx Result Unit Name1/5 -- 27.03.2007 11:30:27R1 =0.98657 mmol ContentR2 =0.04933 mol/L Concentration 2/5 -- 27.03.2007 11:34:16R1 =0.98932 mmol ContentR2 =0.04947 mol/L Concentration 3/5 -- 27.03.2007 11:41:09R1 =0.98976 mmol ContentR2 =0.04949 mol/L Concentration 4/5 -- 27.03.2007 11:47:34R1 =0.98991 mmol ContentR2 =0.04950 mol/L Concentration 5/5 -- 27.03.2007 11:53:14R1 =0.98406 mmol ContentR2 =0.04920 mol/L Concentration StatisticsRx Name n Mean Unit s srel [%]R1 Cont.50.98792 mmol0.00255 0.258R2 Conc.50.04940 mol/L0.00013 0.264。

You can search for these vid eos with the following string, “installation of a com express module” – enter this into the YouTube search without the quotes!A jumper must be installed on J5 for the fan to operate. The fan speed is fixed by the voltage selected via the jumper.PowerDescriptionThe COM Express carriers are designed to be powered from a single +12V power supply. The carrier board features a 3.5mm screw terminal style connector. The COM Express carrier generates all of the necessary voltages on board.A Panasonic BR1225A/FA Lithium battery provides the VBAT for the COM Express module.COM Express Carrier Current Sourcing CapabilitiesThe following are the maximum current capabilities of the CCG0xx unit. These values cannot be exceeded.Current Consumption informationThe majority of the current consumption is from the COM Express module, the PCI-104 and PC104 Express cards. Other sources of current consumption are USB, SATA HDD drives, etc.The following table can be used to help estimate the total current consumption of you COM Express carrier solution. When building up your COM Express solution you should use your vendor provided datasheets to help create an more precise power estimate. These signals can be used with +12V power supplies that provide Power Good and can utilize a Power Good signal. Power Good is an open drain signal and is pulled up to +5V on the COM Express carrier.PCI-104 and PC/104 Express ExpansionDescriptionDepending on the model, CCG0xx Carrier Boards have PCI-104 expansion or PC/104 Express expansion or both.A PCI-104 interface is provided on the COM Express carrier. The stack up can consist of up to four PCI-104 or PC/104 Express cards in any combination.∙V-I/O on the PCI-104 is set to +3.3V.∙All power rails are sourced by the COM Express Carrier, except for -12V.PCIe/104 ConnectorThe PCIe/104 connector features PCIe/104 Type 1 connections as follows:Descriptionx1 PCIe lanesUSB 2.0 Ports (USB Ports 5 and 6 from module)Misc signals including #Reset and #WakeBank 1 and Bank 2 signals are not connected and are left open.VideoDescriptionThe COM Express carrier features three video outputs, VGA, HDMI and LVDS. The availability of the graphics interfaces depends on the COM Express module selected. The configuration of either interface as the primary or secondary or tertiary display depends on the COM Express module’s BIOS capabilities and settings. Refer to the COM Express module’s documentation for more details.HDMIAn HDMI connector is provided on the COM Express carrier.LVDS VideoDescriptionThe COM Express carrier provides dual 18 or 24 bit LVDS display channels via P4, which are connected directly from the COM Express module. LVDS panel supply power is selected with jumper J1 and backlight power is selected with jumper J2. Both are current limited to 500 mA with Raychem resettable ploy fuses.LVDS BacklightPins 1-2 marked with white lineVGAStandard 15 Pin VGA is available at P26. This header can be adapted to a standard DB15 female the CBG070 cable.USB 2.0DescriptionThe COM Express carrier implements four USB 2.0 connections via two USB connectors. Over current protection and power supply filtering is provided.Only the USB host features of the COM Express specification have been implemented, USB client features are not supported.Compact Flash InterfaceA Type I Compact Flash socket is available. Function DescriptionCH9121 is a chip for transparent transmission between network and UART, and realizes bidirectional transparent transmission of serial data and network data. It supports 4 working modes (TCP CLEINT/SERVER, UDP CLIENT/SERVER), and the serial baud rate supported ranges from 300bps to 921600bps. Before use, the network parameters and UART parameters of the chip shall be configured by upper computer software NetModuleConfig.exe or serial commands. After the configuration is completed, CH9121 will save the configuration parameters to the internal storage space. And after the chip is reset, CH9121 will work according to the saved configuration value. The basic parameters of CH9121 include: name, MAC address display, dynamic access IP address setting, manual IP address setting (including CH9121 IP address, subnet mask, default gateway), and UART negotiation configuration. The name is mainly for the convenience of CH9121 module management within the LAN, with the length of not more than 20 bytes. The MAC address field shows the MAC address of the currently selectedmodule. There are two ways for CH9121 to set network parameters. 1) DHCP, that is, it automatically obtains network parameters from the gateway device with DHCP SERVER function; 2) manual setting. UART negotiation configuration function is to enter serial configuration mode by handshaking through the UART, which is disabled by default.CH9121 port parameters include: network mode, local port, target IP/domain name, destination port, serial baud rate/data bit/stop bit/parity check bit, network cable disconnection processing, RX packet length, RX packet timeout interval, network connection operation. The network mode (TCP SERVER/CLIENT, UDP SERVER/CLIENT), destination IP address, and local/destination port are the basic parameters of network communication. The destination IP address can also be accessed by domain name. The serial baud rate ranges from 300bps to 921600bps (the baud rate error of the serial port transmitting signal is less than 0.3%, and the allowable baud rate error of the serial port receiving signal is not less than 2%). It supports 5/6/7/8 data bits, 1/2 stop bits, odd/even/no parity check, blank 0, and mark 1 check mode. The network cable disconnection processing means that when the network cable is disconnected, CH9121 actively closes the connection or does not take any action. The length range of RX packet is 1-1024, which means that when the length of CH9121 UART receiving data reaches the set length, CH9121 will immediately packet the serial data and send it out via network. The timeout time setting range is 0-200, and the timeout unit is about 5ms. For example, when the timeout is 1, the data length of the serial port receiving buffer does not reach the length of the RX packet, and the serial port does not receive a new one in more than 5ms, the serial port timeout will occur. After the serial port timeout occurs, CH9121 will send the data received by the serial port over the network. When the timeout time is set to 0, the internal hardware timeout mechanism will be enabled (no new data is received after 4 data times), which is suitable for occasions where real-time requirements are high and large quantities of data are sent and received. Clear serial port buffer setting refers to how the data received by the serial port is processed before the network connection is established, the data is cleared (discarded) or retained after TCP connection.5.2. Default ConfigurationWhen CH9121 leaves factory, port 2 is closed and port 1 works in TCP CLIENT mode by default. The default parameters related to the network are as follows:(1)Device IP: 192.168.1.200(2)Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0(3)Default gateway: 192.168.1.1(4)Module port: 2000(5)Destination IP: 192.168.1.100(6)Destination port: 1000(7)Number of reconnection: unlimitedUART related default parameters are:(1)Baud rate: 9600(2)Timeout: 0(3)Data bit: 8. Stop bit: 1. Parity check bit: No(4)Clear UART buffer: Never6.Parameters6.1. The detailed circuit reference file: CH9121PCB (please download in our official website).U1 is the main control chip CH9121. TXD1 and RXD1 are compatible with 3.3V and 5V level, and the RS485 control pin DIR can be suspended if not used.P1 is RJ45 port, with built-in network transformer, used to connect network equipments such as switches and router. It contains two pairs of Ethernet differential signals. When actually making a PCB, R5-R8, C6, and C7 should be as close as possible to the 5th pin of P1. The 0.1 uF decoupling capacitors for 3.3V and 1.8V pins are omitted in the figure. TXOP (RXIP) and TXON. (RXIN) are differential signals. When wiring, they should be wired close to parallel, and try to provide ground wire or copper coating on both sides to reduce external interference. The length of relevant signals of crystals XI and XO should be shortened as much as possible. In order to reduce the interference of high-frequency clock for the outside, the baselines should be surrounded or copper should be clad around relevant components.。
