Self Check在英语教学中的作用及应用摘要:自我评价有助于发展学生的自主学习能力,学生可以正确地认识自我和建立自信心,发展健全的自我意识,使学生能选择并识别适合自己的学习环境,从而提高英语教学质量。

一直以来,学生学习的自我评价是学校教育中和学生学习中的一个薄弱环节。

人们往往注重教师对学生学习的评价,习惯于单凭考试成绩衡量学生的学习情况,而学生没有评价的权利,因而不能全面、综合地反映学生的发展程度。

这种评价的主动权在于教师,学生处于被动状态,这样不利于学生进行反思,从而不能换取自驱力。

而自我评价的主动权在于学生自身,这样学生处于主动状态,有了自驱力能不断反思。

因此,自我评价能够让学生了解自己的学习状况,发现自己的学习潜能,有助于学生发展自主学习,有助于建立自信心和正确地认识自己。

此外,通过反思自己的行为,充分体验成长的愉悦,发展健全的自我意识,促进其积极主动地学习,并将各种知识有效地纳入自我认知结构中去。

自我评价实质上是学生对自己学习意识和行为的反思和调控。

在英语课堂教学中,让学生通过自我评价了解自己的学习状况,发现自己的学习潜能,学会自主学习,就显得极其珍贵。

那么如何在课堂教学中培养学生的自评能力?新目标英语(go for it)尤为注重学生在评价过程中的主体地位,引导学生自我评价。

它每个单元以Self check结束。

Self check是自我检测和评价,包括对本单元所学词汇的检测,词汇拓展训练以及语言运用能力的检测和评价。

通过自测和自评,学生将对本单元语言目标的掌握程度有较为明确的认识,一方面,学生可自我检测单元学习情况,自我评价、自我反思、肯定成绩、查找差距;另一方面,也给教师的教学提供反馈信息,以便及时调整教学策略,更好地完成教学任务。
