中国教育与励志（下）— You're gonna hear me Roar !Murph 发布于：2015-03-10 16:34大前研一曾在其著作《低智商社会》中提到，一个现代商业精英必须要掌握三门技术—电脑、金融和英语。
因此我在大学期间专门学习过软件工程，也阅读了比尔·盖茨、史蒂夫·乔布斯、迈克尔·戴尔等人的事迹或传记。
在这个过程中，我发现这些天才的成长历程和中国的成功者—史玉柱、马云、俞敏洪等非常不一样，正好解决了“中国为什么没有乔布斯”的问题。
先贴一段被称为“史上最牛”的拉里·埃里森在耶鲁大学200 0年毕业典礼上的演讲，然后我们顺着它去寻找答案。
拉里·埃里森是美国 Oracle 甲骨文公司的 CEO，年轻时从芝加哥大学辍学，后来到硅谷创立了甲骨文公司，后者成为全球最大的数据库供应商，他自己也一直稳居硅谷首富的宝座（比尔·盖茨在西雅图）。

我们先以比尔·盖茨为例。
比尔·盖茨出生富裕家庭，初中在全西雅图最好的私立中学就读。
1968年，学校募集资金购买了通用电气公司的小型计算机 PDP-10 的使用时间，盖茨对这个新东西非常着迷，经常逃课跑去机房鼓捣那台神奇的机器，作业更是经常不交。
就在这一年，13岁的比尔·盖茨编写了他的第一个程序：tic-tac-toe，同时也结识了他一生的朋友，后来财富排名世界第三的保罗·艾伦。
没过多久，盖茨和朋友们就用完了学校所拥有的电脑使用时间，于是湖滨中学又和电脑中心公司 CCC 签订了协议，让 CCC 继续给学生们提供电脑使用时间，而盖茨他们的任务则是为公司的系统寻找 Bug 。
1970年，CCC 公司破产，盖茨和艾伦无奈之下只好跑去艾伦父亲工作的华盛顿大学，去那里的机房使用电脑。
可是华盛顿距离西雅图非常遥远，于是盖茨和艾伦与湖滨中学签署了一项协议，即每个学期末去参加考试而不用上课也可以毕业。
在这个过程中，盖茨和艾伦不断的编写各种各样的软件，例如对交通流量进行统计的软件，企业的工资管理软件等，他们也从中获得了丰厚的酬劳。
1973年，盖茨以 SAT 1590 分的成绩考入哈佛大学，和中学时期一样，大学的他也经常逃课去计算机房。
接下来就是他和保罗·艾伦一起辍学创立微软的故事了。
每当和朋友谈到比尔·盖茨的时候，我总喜欢这样来总结：一个从13岁开始就不怎么上学了的小朋友，每天练习编程一直到19岁，19岁的盖茨已经是全世界最顶尖的程序设计师了，他还用的着上大学吗？与中国教育培养素质不同，美国教育培养兴趣。
如果在美国坐飞机的话，我建议大家等到有小孩子上飞机的时候才跟着一起上去，这时候你就会看到乘务长一定会问这个小孩：“你想到驾驶室里去看看吗？”之前 Mtime 发布的一份报告中提到，《变4》全球票房10亿美元，中国大陆贡献了29%（20亿RMB），而《冰雪奇缘》这种小孩子看的电影，全球票房12.74亿美元，中国大陆仅贡献了4%的票房。
还有像《玛琳菲森》这种大人看了会觉得非常无聊的儿童神话电影，全球票房也有7.57亿美元（与《星际穿越》不相上下），中国大陆仅贡献了6%的票房（还是多亏了安吉丽娜·朱莉主演）。
相比之下，《星际穿越》的全球票房中，中国大陆则贡献了19%。
大家如果有兴趣的话可以找数据对比一下，如果是给孩子看的电影，大陆票房的贡献基本在5%左右，而如果是超级英雄电影或者商业片大制作，大陆票房的贡献一般在15%~30%之间。
这说明了什么问题，值得我们深思哈 ~我们再来看看比尔·盖茨先生的经历：一个从初中开始就很少去学校的孩子，SAT （美国的高考）竟然考了1590分（满分1600分）~ 这又是美国教育高明的地方。
在我看来，中国的中学教育才是真正的素质教育，学生的数学、语文、英语，物化生/政史地各项能力绝对傲视世界。
在国内一个刚刚能考上一本的学生，只要好好学习英文去考一下 SAT 就能上常青藤（中国有很多这样的留学机构和专门培养学生考 SAT 的高中）。
中国的大学生如果去考美国的研究生入学考试 GRE/GMA T，数学也一定是满分，因为 GRE 就相当于我们的初中数学水平，GMAT 难一点，相当于我们的高中数学水平。
美国的小学更是著名的除了教英文之外就什么都不教了~ 所以美国人如果只有初中文凭的话，你问他5乘以6是多少他真的不知道...但是考试简单也有简单的好处，就是学生们有充足的时间去发掘自己的兴趣，延伸自己的兴趣。
