单元学情分析
本单元的主题是运用情态动词Can谈论能力,通过对目标语言的学习使学生能够表达自己在某一方面所具备的才能;通过谈论彼此的特长与爱好培养一种群体意识。

在以前的学习中,学生已经学习了一些行为动作的表达法,而教学“谈论能力”只是将情态动词can用于这些表达中;情态动词can在肯定旬、否定句和疑问句中的构成,和学生已经学过的be 动词的结构有相同的地方,教师在教学中要善于引导学生比较这两种结构的异同以加强记忆单元教学建议

环节2学习Grammar Focus-3c
1.让学生朗读Grammar Focus中的句子,并试着总结其中的语法规律。

2.教师向学生讲解Grammar Focus中的语法点。

3.教师让学生浏览3a的题目要求和例句,按照例句完成剩下的四个小题。

4.教师邀请几名学生展示自己的答案,同时对句子进行翻译;教师核对答案并对学生翻译有误的地方予以指正。

5.让学生浏览3b的内容并完成练习,教师核对答案并讲解其中的重要语句,然后让学生再通读一遍短文。

情态动词can的用法。

基本特点:
①与动词原形“形影不离”。

can用在句子中时,不能单独作谓语,一般与其后的动词原形一起构成句子的谓语成分来表示某种能力。

例:She can sing and dance.她能唱歌跳舞。

②没有人称和数的变化。

can没有人称和数的变化,无论主语是第几人称,也无论主语是单数还是复数,它在形式上都不发生任何变化。

例:I/He/You/We/They/Lily can carry the box.我/他/你(们)/我们/他们/莉莉能搬动这个箱子。

功能展示:
①表示主语所具备的能力,意为“能,会”。

例:He can play soccer.他会踢足球。

②表示请求或允许,意为“可以”。

例:Can I borrow your pen?我可以借你的钢笔吗?
③表示推测,多用于否定句中。

例:The red bicycle can't be Mary's.Her bicycle is blue.那辆红色自行车不可能是玛丽的。

她的自行车是蓝色的。

句型变化:
①变一般疑问句:
陈述句变为一般疑问句时,把can移到句首。

肯定回答一般用:Yes,主语+can.
否定回答一般用:No,主语+can't.
②变否定句:
肯定句变为否定句时,在can后加not,可缩写成can't。

例:You can take photos here.你可以在这里拍照。

→You can't take photos here.你不能在这里拍照。
