After lunch, we have more classes until the end of the school day at around 4:00 p.m. When I get home, I do my homework, have dinner with my family, and then have some free time to read, watch TV, or play games.Unit 2: My HobbiesOne of my favorite hobbies is reading. I love getting lost in the world of books, and I especially enjoy reading English storybooks. They not only help me improve my English skills but also transport me to different places and times through their captivating stories.Another hobby of mine is playing badminton. I joined the school badminton club last year, and I really enjoy practicing andparticipating in tournaments. It's a great way to stay active and make new friends who share the same interests. In my free time, I also like to draw and paint. I find it relaxing and a great way to express my creativity. Sometimes, I even combine my love for art and English by drawing illustrations for English stories or poems.Unit 3: My FamilyI come from a loving and supportive family. My parents have always encouraged me to study hard and pursue my interests. They help me with my homework and attend school events whenever they can.My younger brother, Tom, is in the 4th grade, and we sometimes study together or play games. We like to practice our English by having conversations or reading books aloud to each other. My grandparents live nearby, and I enjoy visiting them on weekends. They love hearing about my school life and the things I'm learning, especially when I share interesting English phrases or stories with them.Unit 4: My CommunityI live in a friendly and vibrant neighborhood. There's a park nearby where my friends and I often go to play or have picnics. We sometimes practice our English by having conversations or playing language games while enjoying the outdoors. Our community also has a library, which is one of my favorite places. I love browsing through the shelves and discovering new English books to read. The librarians are always happy to recommend good books and help me with any questions I have.During the summer holidays, our community center organizes various activities and camps for children, including English camps. Last summer, I attended an English drama camp where we learned about acting, improvisation, and putting on a short play entirely in English. It was a fantastic experience that helped me gain confidence in using English in a fun and creative way.Well, that's a glimpse into my school life and my journey of learning English. I hope you found it interesting and enjoyable to read. Learning a new language can be challenging, but with dedication, practice, and a positive attitude, it can also be an incredibly rewarding and enriching experience. I'm excited to continue exploring the world of English and all the opportunities it opens up for me.篇2My Summer Holiday AdventuresHi there! I'm Lily, a 12-year-old student who just finished Grade 7. I had an awesome summer holiday filled with lots of fun and exciting experiences. Let me tell you all about it!Unit 1: A Letter to KatyIt all started when my friend Katy went on a trip to Australia with her family. We've been best friends since kindergarten, so I was really sad to see her go. To cheer myself up, I decided to write her a letter telling her about my summer plans. In the letter, I mentioned that my family was going to visit my grandparents in the countryside. I was looking forward to playing in the fields, catching bugs, and swimming in the lake. I also told Katy that I was going to read lots of books and practice my English during the holidays.A few weeks later, I got a reply from Katy. She said she was having a great time in Australia! She had seen kangaroos, koalas, and even gone surfing. Katy also wrote that she had made some new friends and they were teaching her Australian English slang words like "g'day" and "mate."Unit 2: Making DumplingsOne of my favorite summer activities was making dumplings with my grandma. She taught me the traditional way of mixing the dough, rolling it out, and carefully folding the delicious fillings inside.I remember the first few dumplings I made were a bit messy and lopsided. But with grandma's patient guidance, I soon got the hang of it. By the end of the day, we had made over a hundred perfect little dumplings! After boiling them, we sat down to enjoy our hard work. The dumplings were so tasty and satisfying. Grandma said she was proud of how quickly I had learned. I felt really happy and accomplished.Unit 3: A Dreamy JourneyYou'll never believe the crazy dream I had one night! In my dream, I was a brave explorer journeying through a dense, tropical rainforest. Colorful parrots soared overhead and exotic flowers bloomed all around me.Suddenly, I stumbled upon an ancient temple hidden among the trees. I curiously wandered inside, marveling at the intricatestone carvings. That's when I met a wise, old monkey who could speak English! The monkey told me I had to complete three challenges to find the legendary Emerald of Eternity. For the first task, I had to navigate a maze filled with tricky riddles. Next, I crossed a raging river by swinging on vines like Tarzan. Finally, I defeated an evil snake sorcerer in an epic battle of wits. After all my hard work, the monkey rewarded me with the Emerald of Eternity. I woke up feeling like a real-life adventurer!Unit 4: The School Talent ShowA few days before going back to school, our town held its annual children's talent show. I was really excited because I had been practicing my magic tricks all summer. When it was my turn to perform, I pulled a bunny out of my hat to start the show. The audience went wild with cheers and applause! I then did some cool card tricks and even made a silk scarf disappear into thin air.For my final trick, I attempted to saw my friend Jerry in half using a mysterious old box. Don't worry, it was just an illusion! But it sure looked realistic. When Jerry emerged unharmed, everyone gasped in amazement. The judges must have been impressed because I ended up winning first prize - a big gold trophy! I was overjoyed and felt like a superstar magician. It was the perfect way to wrap up my summer before heading back to school.Well, those were some of the most memorable moments from my action-packed summer holiday. I had such an incredible time making dumplings, dreaming wild dreams, and showing off my magic skills. I can't wait to see what other adventures await me this school year!篇3My Exciting School LifeHi everyone! My name is Tony and I'm in the 7th grade. I wanted to share with you some of the fun and interesting things I've been learning about in my English class this year.Unit 1 was all about introductions and making new friends. We learned how to greet each other, ask questions like "What's your name?" and "Where are you from?", and give basic information about ourselves. My teacher had us do a lot of roleplaying activities where we pretended to meet new people and introduce ourselves. It was a little awkward at first, but I gotused to it. I made a new friend named Li Ming who just moved to my city from Beijing. He seems really nice.In Unit 2, we talked about our hobbies and free time activities. I learned vocabulary words like "collecting", "dancing", "fishing", and "camping." We had to do a show-and-tell presentation about our favorite hobby. I brought in my baseball card collection and talked about why I enjoy collecting them so much. Some of my classmates have really cool hobbies like playing the guitar, baking cakes, and even raising pet rabbits!Unit 3 was my favorite so far because it was all about food, eating, and nutrition. I love eating (maybe a little too much!). We learned menu vocabulary like "appetizer", "entree", "side dish", and "dessert." We also studied words for different dining establishments like "cafeteria", "food court", and "buffet restaurant." The best part was when our teacher brought in all sorts of plastic food models and we got to practice ordering meals from each other. I ordered a gigantic banana split for dessert! There was also a section about healthy and unhealthy foods.I learned that foods like French fries, milkshakes, and candy bars have too much fat, sugar, and calories. But fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins are good for you. My teachersaid I need to eat less junk food and more healthy snacks like yogurt, nuts, and fresh fruit. I'm trying, but it's hard to resist my cravings for chips and chocolate! We'll see how it goes.Unit 4 has been about daily routines and household chores. Kind of boring, but also useful vocab to know. We studied words and phrases like "make your bed", "sweep the floor", "walk the dog", and "take out the trash." I have to admit, I'm not the best at doing my chores around the house. My mom is always nagging me to clean up my room, put my dishes in the sink, and help with the laundry. I keep promising I'll start being more responsible, but then I get distracted playing video games or watching YouTube videos. Oops!We also learned how to tell time and talk about our schedules, like "At 7 AM, I wake up and get dressed for school." A typical weekday for me goes like this: wake up, eat breakfast, go to school, come home, play outside, eat dinner, take a shower, finish homework, read or watch TV for a little while, then go to bed around 9 PM. On weekends, I get to sleep in late (my favorite!) and just hang out with friends. We'll play basketball at the park, go to the movies, or have sleepovers.Well, those are the highlights from my English class so far this year. It's been a lot of fun and I'm excited to keep learningmore. Speaking of which, I should probably stop procrastinating and start my homework for tomorrow! Time to hit the books. Thanks for reading, catch you later!篇4My Memorable School DaysHi there! My name is Lucy and I'm a 7th grader at Greenhill Primary School. Looking back on my school days so far, there are so many fun and interesting memories that come to mind. Let me share some of the highlights with you!First up, the start of this school year in Unit 1 was all about "Hello, Nice to Meet You!" It was exciting to catch up with my friends after the summer break and meet some new classmates too. I remember feeling a bit nervous on the first day, but my teacher Ms. Parker made us all feel so welcome. She had us play some icebreaker games to get to know each other better. One game I really enjoyed was "Two Truths and a Lie" where we had to guess which statements about our partners were true or false. It was hilarious trying to spot the lies!In that unit, we also learned how to properly introduce ourselves and ask others questions like "What's your name?", "How old are you?", and "Where are you from?". Practicing thoseconversations really helped build my confidence for making new friends. My favorite part was sharing about my hobbies and interests. I love reading fantasy novels, so I brought in my favorite book to show the class. Quite a few classmates seemed interested in it too! Then in Unit 2, the theme was "My Things". We learned all sorts of vocabulary for describing different objects and stationery items. I'll never forget the fun we had with those "I Spy" games, trying to correctly identify random objects our teacher would hold up. We also wrote descriptive paragraphs about our favorite belongings and shared them with partners. I wrote about my treasured teddy bear that I've had since I was a baby. He's a bit worn out these days, but I love him just the same! For the skills part of that unit, we practiced using apostrophes to show possession. That was pretty tricky at first, but doing all those practice exercises really helped it stick. By the end, I could properly say things like "Lucy's teddy bear" or "The color of Timmy's pencil case" without a problem. Using apostrophes correctly has made my writing more precise.Moving on to Unit 3, the big topic was "My Hobbies". This was one of my favorites because I got to learn about the coolhobbies my classmates enjoy. Amy gave a presentation on her coin collection, while Jack taught us some basic soccer skills during an outdoor activity. So many interesting options like reading, dancing, hiking, arts and crafts, and more! I enjoyed broadening my horizons. For my part, I talked about my hobby of stargazing with a telescope I got for my last birthday. I made a poster with pictures of different planets, moons, and constellations that I've observed.I also brought in my telescope to class and some of my friends even got a peek through it at the moon! It was awesome sharing my passion with everyone. This unit really opened my eyes to the diverse talents and interests we all have. The language focus for that unit was on using phrases with gerunds, like "I'm interested in collecting coins" or "Jack enjoys playing soccer". It took some practice, but eventually I got the hang of it. Now I can properly discuss my hobbies and those of others with those neat gerund phrases. Finally, let's talk about Unit 4 which covered "Popular Games and Sports". As you can probably guess, this was another super engaging unit! We learned tons of new vocabulary related to different sports, games, equipment, rules, and more. There was alively discussion when we talked about our favorite games and why we enjoy them so much.I'll never forget when we had a special guest, a professional soccer player, come to our school and run an event for us. She taught us some pro techniques for dribbling, passing, and shooting. Then we had a mini-tournament with teams competing in relay races and other fun drills. My team ended up winning, which made me feel like a superstar! What a memorable experience. For the language focus, we worked on using phrases like "good at", "interested in", and "bored with" to describe our abilities and interests related to sports and games. I am "good at" soccer and "interested in" learning new games, but I have to admit I'm "bored with" some of the boardgames my little brother loves. Using those phrases accurately makes my meaning really clear.Well, there you have it - a whirlwind tour through some of my most memorable experiences from 7th grade English so far! From icebreakers and self-introductions, to exploring hobbies, belongings, games and sports, it's been such an engaging journey. My English skills have grown by leaps and bounds. Not only have I expanded my vocabulary and mastered some tricky grammar concepts, but I've also become more confident in speaking, writing, and sharing my thoughts. Collaborative activities, presentations, and skill practice have all contributed to this progress. Thanks to my amazing teacher and the engaging PEP materials, English class has been my favorite part of 7th grade so far!篇5My Summer Vacation and School LifeHi there! My name is Amy, and I'm a student in Grade 7. Today, I'm going to share with you about my summer vacation and the first few months of my new school year. Get ready for an exciting adventure!During the summer break, my family and I went on a fantastic trip to the countryside. We stayed at my grandparents' house, which is surrounded by beautiful fields and forests. It was so refreshing to breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the peaceful environment, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting a local farm. We got to see all kinds of animals, like cows, sheep, chickens, and even a friendly donkey named Daisy. The farmer showed us howto milk the cows and collect eggs from the chicken coop. It was a lot of fun, and I learned so much about where our food comes from.Another exciting activity we did was going on a nature hike. My dad is an excellent guide, and he taught us how to identify different plants and animal tracks. We even spotted a few deer grazing in the distance! During the hike, we also had a picnic lunch by a lovely stream. The sandwiches tasted extra delicious in the great outdoors. When we weren't exploring the countryside, I spent time helping my grandparents in their vegetable garden. We planted tomatoes, carrots, and cucumbers, and I learned how to properly water and care for the plants. It was really satisfying to see the fruits (and veggies!) of our labor grow day by day.Towards the end of the summer, we visited a nearby small town for their annual fair. There were so many fun things to do, like riding the Ferris wheel, playing games, and trying all sorts of delicious food from the vendors. I even won a giant teddy bear at the ring toss game! After our wonderful summer vacation, it was time to head back to the city and start a new school year. I was both excited and a little nervous to be in Grade 7. On the first day of school, Imet my new classmates and teachers. Everyone seemed really nice, and I made a few new friends right away.In English class, we started Unit 1, which was all about daily routines and habits. We learned how to talk about our morning routines, like getting ready for school, having breakfast, and brushing our teeth. We also discussed good habits, like exercising regularly and getting enough sleep. It was interesting to compare our routines and habits with our classmates.Next, we moved on to Unit 2, which focused on sports and hobbies. We learned a lot of new vocabulary related to different sports and activities, like tennis, swimming, painting, and playing the piano. We even had a fun project where we had to create a poster about our favorite hobby and present it to the class.Unit 3 was all about food and cooking. We learned about different types of cuisines, like Chinese, Italian, and Mexican food. We also learned how to follow recipes and talk about our favorite dishes. One of the highlights was when our teacher brought in some ingredients, and we got to make our own simple snacks in class. Mine didn't turn out too great, but it was still a lot of fun!The most recent unit we covered was Unit 4, which was about shopping and money. We learned how to talk aboutdifferent types of stores, like clothing stores, bookstores, and supermarkets. We also practiced asking for prices, making purchases, and counting change. Our teacher even brought in some fake money, and we did role-plays where we pretended to be shoppers and cashiers. So far, Grade 7 has been a wonderful experience. I've learned so many new things, made new friends, and had a lot of fun in the process. I can't wait to see what the rest of the school year has in store!Well, that's all for now. I hope you enjoyed reading about my summer vacation and the first few units of our English class. Until next time, take care!篇6Certainly! Here's an essay written in English, covering Units 1-4 of the PEP English textbook for Grade 7, with a length of around 2,000 words, and in the voice of an elementary school student. My Exciting School LifeHi there! My name is Emily, and I'm a seventh-grader at Sunshine Elementary School. I can't wait to share with you all theexciting things I've experienced this year so far. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of adventures, challenges, and lots of fun!Unit 1: Making New FriendsThe beginning of the school year was a little nerve-wracking for me. I had to say goodbye to my old friends who moved to different schools, and I worried about making new ones. However, on the very first day, I met a girl named Sophie during recess. We instantly hit it off, bonding over our love for reading and our shared dream of becoming authors someday. From that day on, Sophie and I became inseparable. We would spend our lunch breaks chatting about our favorite books, swapping stories we had written, and even coming up with crazy plots for imaginary novels. It was like finding a long-lost best friend!Unit 2: Exploring New HobbiesAs the weeks went by, Sophie and I discovered a shared passion for painting. We joined the art club and spent countless hours after school, unleashing our creativity on canvases. Our art teacher, Mrs. Davis, was amazed by our talent and encouraged us to enter a citywide art competition. With our brushes in hand, we poured our hearts into creating masterpieces. Sophie's painting portrayed a magical forest filled with whimsical creatures, while mine depicted a vibrant underwater world teeming with colorful marine life. The day of the competition arrived, and we were both ecstatic when our names were announced as winners! It was a moment of pure joy and pride, and we vowed to continue nurturing our artistic talents.Unit 3: Dealing with ChallengesDetermined not to give up, we sought help from our teacher, Mr. Thompson. He patiently guided us through the concepts, and we spent countless hours practicing problems together. Slowly but surely, the fog began to lift, and math started making sense. The day of the big math test arrived, and we were both nervous wrecks. But as we put our pencils to the paper, the lessons we had learned kicked in, and we tackled each question with newfound confidence. When the results came back, we had both passed with flying colors!Unit 4: Embracing DiversityOne of the most enriching experiences of the school year was the International Culture Fair. Our school was a melting pot of different cultures, and this event celebrated the beauty of diversity.Sophie and I volunteered to help set up the various booths, each representing a different country. We learned about traditional dances, sampled delicious cuisines, and even tried our hand at creating intricate crafts from around the world. But the highlight of the fair was the talent show, where students showcased their unique cultural performances. We were mesmerized by the vibrant costumes, the rhythmic dances, and the beautiful melodies that filled the auditorium. As the year came to a close, Sophie and I reflected on the incredible journey we had embarked upon. We had made lifelong friends, discovered hidden talents, overcome challenges, and embraced the richness of diversity. It was a year filled with laughter, tears, and countless memories that we would cherish forever. As I look ahead to the next school year, I can't help but feel excited for the adventures that await. With my best friend by my side and a heart full of dreams, I know that the possibilities areendless. So, here's to another year of growth, learning, and making the most of every moment!。

I learned lots of new vocabulary words like "mathematics," "science," and "geography." We also talked about our favorite subjects and extracurricular activities. For example, I love pizza and ice cream, but I'm not a big fan of Brussels sprouts (yuck!). We also discussed the importance of exercise, getting enough sleep, and eating a balanced diet. I try to eat my vegetables and go for a jog or bike ride every day after school.Unit 4: Travel and TransportationUnit 4 was all about travel and transportation. I'm looking forward to continuing my English studies next year and becoming even better. Who knows, maybe I'll be fluent enough to travel the world someday!篇2My Life as a 7th GraderHey there! My name is Alex, and I'm a 7th grader at Maple Grove Middle School. Life as a middle schooler is a rollercoaster ride, let me tell you! Between juggling classes, extracurricular activities, and trying to navigate the complex social world of adolescence, there's never a dull moment.Let's start with school. In 7th grade, we have a pretty packed schedule. English, Math, Science, History, and a bunch of other subjects keep our brains working overtime. English class is always interesting, especially when we delve into literature analysis or creative writing assignments. I particularly enjoyed studying "The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County" by Mark Twain. It's a hilarious story, and our class had a great time dissecting the humor and satire.Speaking of writing, one of the most challenging assignments we've had so far was writing a persuasive essay. We had to choose a topic we felt strongly about and construct a compelling argument to sway our readers. I chose to write about the importance of protecting the environment, and let me tell you, it wasn't easy! Gathering credible sources, organizing mythoughts, and crafting a persuasive piece that flowed logically took a lot of effort. But in the end, it was incredibly rewarding to see my hard work pay off.Math is another subject that keeps us on our toes. From mastering algebraic equations to tackling tricky geometry problems, it's a constant exercise in problem-solving. Our math teacher, Mrs. Thompson, is great at breaking down complex concepts into digestible chunks, but she also expects us to put in the extra effort to truly grasp the material.Science is a subject that never fails to fascinate me. This year, we've been learning about the wonders of the natural world, from the intricate workings of cells to the vast expanse of the universe. Our biology unit on plants was particularly interesting. Who knew that the humble flower had such an incredible journey from seed to blossom? We even got to dissect a flower and label its different parts – a hands-on experience that really drove the lessons home.History is another favorite of mine. Exploring the rich tapestry of human civilization and the events that have shaped our world is endlessly captivating. We recently studied the American Revolution, and I was amazed by the courage and determination of the founding fathers. Debates andreenactments in class really brought those historical moments to life.Speaking of friendships, navigating the social landscape of middle school can be tricky at times. Finding your tribe, dealing with cliques, and navigating the emotional rollercoaster of puberty is no easy feat. But I've been fortunate to have a solid group of friends who have my back. We laugh together, vent about our problems, and support each other through thick and thin.Outside of school, I have a few hobbies that keep me busy and happy. I love reading – getting lost in the pages of a good book is one of my favorite pastimes. I'm also an avid gamer, and I enjoy the challenge of mastering new levels and exploring virtual worlds. And let's not forget sports! I play soccer for the school team, and there's nothing quite like the thrill of a hard-fought match and the camaraderie of being part of a team.As I reflect on my 7th grade experience so far, I can't help but feel a sense of growth and accomplishment. Sure, there have been challenges and moments of frustration, but overcoming those obstacles has made me stronger and more resilient. I've learned valuable lessons about time management, perseverance, and the importance of balancing work and play.Looking ahead, I'm equal parts excited and nervous about the transition to high school. It's a whole new chapter, filled with new opportunities and challenges. But if my 7th grade journey has taught me anything, it's that with hard work, determination, and a positive attitude, I can tackle whatever comes my way.So, here's to the rest of 7th grade and the adventures that lie ahead! It's been an incredible ride so far, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.篇3My Life as a Middle SchoolerHi there! My name is Alex, and I'm a 7th grader at Oakwood Middle School. I'm here to tell you all about my life as a middle schooler, the things I love, the stuff that drives me crazy, and everything in between! To start off, let me give you a tour of my daily routine. I wake up around 7 am (yes, that's really early for a kid!), and the first thing I do is check my phone for any messages from my friends. We're always chatting about homework, video games, or the latest drama at school. After getting ready, I have a quick breakfast - usually some cereal or a bagel - and then it's off to school. The best part of my day is definitely lunchtime. I get to hang out with my best buddies Jake, Emma, and Sarah. We have this special spot in the cafeteria where we always sit, and we spend the whole time gossiping, joking around, and complaining about our tough teachers. The food isn't always great, but hey, at least we get a break from classes!Speaking of classes, that's probably the worst part of being in middle school. Don't get me wrong, I actually like learning new things. But having to sit through hours of lectures on subjects like math, science, and history can be really boring sometimes. My favorite classes are English and art because I love reading books and being creative. In English, we're currently studying poetry, which is kind of cool. We get to analyze the deeper meanings behind the words and come up with our own interpretations. After school, I usually have soccer practice or a game. Soccer is my biggest passion - I've been playing since I was 6 years old. There's nothing quite like the feeling of scoring a goal or making a great pass to my teammate. Win or lose, I always have a blast with my soccer buddies. We're like one big family, and we support each other no matter what.Once I'm home from practice, it's time to tackle the mountain of homework that awaits me. I know, I know, homework is the worst. But my parents are always on my case about getting good grades, so I have to power through it. Math is definitely my biggest struggle - all those equations and formulas make my head spin! I usually ask my older sister Maya for help when I'm really stuck. In the evenings, I love unwinding by playing video games or watching Netflix shows. Some of my favorites are Stranger Things, The Last of Us, and anything with superheroes. My friends and I are always discussing the latest episodes and speculating about what will happen next. It's so much fun to get lost in those imaginary worlds for a little while. The weekends are when I really get to cut loose and have fun.I love going to the movies with my friends, having sleepovers, or just hanging out at the park. Sometimes we'll have big group outings like going bowling, skating, or exploring a new hiking trail. Those are the times when I feel like I can truly be myself and not worry about homework, grades, or any of the other stresses of middle school life.Well, that's a glimpse into my life as a 7th grader! It's definitely a rollercoaster ride, with its ups and downs. But Iwouldn't trade these middle school years for anything. They're shaping me into the person I'll become, teaching me valuable lessons about friendship, responsibility, and finding my passions in life. So bring it on, 8th grade - I'll be ready for whatever you throw my way!篇4My Life as a 7th GraderHi there! My name is Sam and I'm a 7th grade student. Seventh grade has been quite an experience so far. It's a lot more work than elementary school, but I'm slowly getting the hang of things. Let me tell you about my life!Unit 1 was all about introducing ourselves and talking about our daily routines. I typically wake up around 7am and get ready for school. I have a quick breakfast, usually some cereal or toast. Then I brush my teeth and get my backpack together. The bus comes at 8:15. The classes I have this year are English, math, science, history, PE and an elective like art or music. My favorite class is English because we get to read cool stories and work on our writing skills. In Unit 2, we learned about telling stories and using descriptive language. We read this adventure book about kids exploring a forest. I had to write anarrative essay describing my own outdoor adventure. I wrote about the time my family went camping and we got caught in a thunderstorm! It was scary but also kind of exciting.Math class is probably my least favorite. Unit 3 was on algebra and solving equations. I find it really confusing with all the letters and variables. We also learned about ratios and proportions which wasn't too bad. The hardest part for me is word problems where you have to decipher what the question is really asking.Science has been pretty interesting though. In Unit 4, we studied biology and learned all about cells, DNA, and genetics. It's crazy how our traits are determined by these tiny molecules! We even got to look at cells under a microscope which was cool. For our project, we had to create a 3D model of an animal or plant cell. I made a plant cell out of styrofoam balls spray painted different colors. For Unit 5, we moved on to chemistry. We learned about the periodic table, elements, compounds, and chemical reactions. Some of the experiments were awesome like making little volcanos erupt with baking soda and vinegar. I can see how chemistry could be useful for things like cooking or cleaning products. Most recently in Unit 6, we've been studying world geography and cultures. It's been really eye-opening learning about different countries, traditions, and ways of life. My favorite part was when we had to research a specific country and give a presentation about its history, customs, food, and more. I chose Japan and made a dream trip itinerary of places I'd want to visit like Tokyo, Mount Fuji, and Hiroshima.Outside of classes, I really enjoy playing sports like soccer and basketball. I'm on the school's soccer team which keeps me pretty active. We practice twice a week and have games on Saturdays. It's tiring but I love being part of a team and the excitement of competing. My dream is to maybe play soccer in college one day!I'm also involved in the drama club at school. This year we're putting on a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare. It's been challenging trying to memorize all those lines in Old English! But I have a lead role as Puck the fairy, so I'm working really hard. The performances will be in a couple months and I'm super nervous but also thrilled. When I'm not at school or practices, I spend a lot of time just hanging out with my friends. We love going to the mall, watching movies, or just relaxing at each other's houses. Havinga solid friend group to lean on has made the transition to 7th grade a lot easier. At home, I try to keep up with chores like taking out the trash, doing dishes, and cleaning my room (though I'll admit my mom has to nag me about the room thing). I'm also expected to do my homework and study for tests. It's a juggling act for sure between all my activities and responsibilities!Well, that's a glimpse into my life as a 7th grade student! It's a bit hectic at times but I'm enjoying being more independent and taking on new challenges. Can't wait to see what 8th grade has in store. Thanks for reading!篇5My Life as a Middle School StudentHello, my name is Emma, and I'm a seventh-grader at Oakwood Middle School. Life as a middle school student can be both exciting and challenging, but I'm trying my best to navigate through it all. In this essay, I'll share with you some of my experiences and thoughts about the different topics we've covered in our English class this semester.Unit 1: My Daily RoutineOne of the first things we learned about in English class this semester was how to describe our daily routines. For me, a typical day starts with the sound of my alarm clock blaring at 6:30 a.m. I grudgingly get out of bed, brush my teeth, an篇6My Life as a 7th GraderHey there! I'm a 7th grade student and life is pretty crazy right now. We just started the second half of the school year and things are really heating up with more advanced topics in all my classes. English has definitely been one of the bigger challenges this semester. In Unit 1, we learned all about natural disasters like earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes and volcanoes. It was really interesting but also pretty scary stuff! We had to write papers describing what to do if caught in different natural disaster situations. I wrote about a hurricane hitting my town and what steps to take to stay safe. It involved things like boarding up windows, stocking up on food and water, and knowing the closest evacuation routes and shelters. Hopefully I'll never actually need to use those tips!Unit 2 was focused on biographies of famous people throughout history. My favorite was learning about Amelia Earhart, the first female aviator to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean. She was such a trailblazer and so brave to take on that kind of challenge in the early 1900s. For our unit project, I had to write a biography about someone influential and I chose Jacques Cousteau, the famous ocean explorer and conservationist. It was cool researching his life and accomplishments studying and filming ocean life.In Unit 3, we did a whole unit on outer space and astronomy.I found it pretty mind-blowing learning about just how vast the universe is and all the incredible phenomena like black holes, nebulae, and exoplanets that exist out there. We had to write fantasy stories imagining we were astronauts living on a newly discovered habitable exoplanet. Mine had blue skies and two suns! For our unit test, we also had to memorize facts about things like the order of the planets, details on the Moon's orbit and phases, and the names of major constellations and galaxies.Unit 4 brought us back down to Earth a bit to study the environment and climate change. It was definitely a heavy topic learning about all the threats facing the planet from pollution, deforestation, plastic waste, and fossil fuel emissions. Our bigassignment was writing persuasive speeches urging people to take action on an environmental issue. I did mine on protecting endangered species like tigers, rhinos, and whales from poaching and habitat loss. Seeing pictures of those amazing creatures threatened was really sad.Next up was Unit 5 which was all about technology and its impacts on society. This was one of my favorite units because tech is such a big part of our lives today, especially for kids my age. We learned about the history of major inventions like the printing press, the light bulb, the telephone, computers, and the internet. Then we explored current advancements in fields like AI, robotics, renewable energy, space exploration and more. My essay analyzed both the pros and cons of our increasing reliance on technology in education, communication and entertainment. While tech offers awesome tools and opportunities, we also have to be careful about things like online privacy, too much screen time, and tech addiction. The final Unit 6 allowed us to explore different cultures around the world through short stories, poems, music, art, food and traditions. It was really eye-opening learning about the diversity of customs and belief systems across continents. One of the coolest assignments was creating a multimedia presentationspotlighting a particular country. I chose Japan and got to share examples of their language, fashion, pop culture, architecture, cuisine and more. We also did fun activities like learning simple phrases in different languages and tasting traditional dishes from various cultures.Overall, this semester of English has been engaging but super challenging too. We've covered a ton of high-level content across science, history, culture and current events. My writing skills have definitely improved from all the essays, stories and projects. And my vocabulary has expanded thanks to all the new terms and concepts. While it's been a lot of hard work, I've also learned so much valuable knowledge about the world around me. Bring on the last few months of 7th grade!。

My favorite activity was when we had to create our own artwork using any medium we wanted and then describe it to the class. I made a colorful abstract painting using watercolors and oil pastels. Finally, in Unit 6 we covered sports and recreational activities. There were tons of new words related to sports equipment, rules of games, venues and more. I found the reading about thehistory of the Olympic Games really fascinating. For one of our main assignments, we had to write a report on a sport of our choice, explaining the rules, equipment needed, skills required, and why we enjoy playing or watching that sport. I wrote mine on badminton since that's the sport my family and I play together sometimes.Overall, this semester of English class has been awesome!I've learned so many new words and interesting facts about different topics. My vocabulary has grown a lot and I feel more confident reading, writing, listening, and speaking in English now. I'm already excited to continue learning more next year. English is such a fun and useful language!。

七年级下册英语每单元作文Unit 1: My School LifeMy first day at junior high was both exciting and a little scary. I woke up early, dressed in my new school uniform, and had breakfast with my family. My mom wished me good luck, and my little brother gave me a high-five.As I walked into the school, I was greeted by the sight of many new faces. I found my way to the classroom, where I met my new classmates and our teacher, Mrs. Wang. She wasfriendly and made us feel welcome. We had a tour of the school, and I was amazed by the size of the campus and the variety of facilities, including a library, a sports field, and a science lab. During lunch, I sat with some new friends and we talked about our favorite subjectsand hobbies. The day was filled with new lessons and activities. I enjoyed English class the most because our teacher made learning fun with games and songs. After school, I joined the school's basketball team and made some more friends.I left school feeling tired but happy. I know it's going tobe a great year at junior high.Unit 2: My FamilyTitle: A Family Trip to the BeachLast summer, my family and I went on a trip to the beach. It was a sunny day, and we packed our bags with sunscreen, towels, and snacks. We drove for about an hour to reach the beach. As soon as we arrived, we could hear the sound of the waves and feel the warm sand under our feet. My younger sister and I ran to the water and started building sandcastles while my parents set up the beach umbrella. We spent the day swimming, playing beach volleyball, and having a picnic lunch. My mom made delicious sandwiches and my dad brought homemade lemonade. In the afternoon, we rented a paddleboat and explored the nearby coves. As the sun began to set, we gathered around a bonfire and roasted marshmallows for s'mores. We shared stories and laughed until it was time to go home. It was a perfect day, and I can't wait for our next family trip to the beach.Unit 3: My HobbiesTitle: The Joy of PaintingI have always loved painting. It's a hobby that allows me to express my creativity and relax after a busy day at school.I started painting when I was eight years old. My first painting was a simple landscape of a sunset, but I was proud of it. Over time, I've learned different techniques and styles, from watercolor to oil painting. Now, I spend my free time in the art room, experimenting with new ideas. I like to paint scenes from nature, like forests and oceans, but I also enjoy abstract art that lets me play with shapes and colors.Painting has taught me patience and attention to detail. It's a way for me to unwind and forget about my worries. I've even started to enter my paintings in local art competitions and have won a few awards.I hope to continue painting as I grow older, and maybe one day, I can share my art with a wider audience.Unit 4: My Favorite SubjectTitle: The Wonders of ScienceScience is my favorite subject at school. It's like a treasure chest filled with fascinating facts and mysteries waiting to be discovered. In science class, we learn about the natural world and how things work. We study topics like the water cycle, the human body, and the solar system. I find it amazing how everything in the universe is interconnected. Our science teacher, Mr. Li, makes learning fun and engaging. He uses experiments and demonstrations to help us understand complex concepts. Last week, we did an experiment to see how plants grow, and it was so cool to watch the seeds sprout and turn into plants.I also enjoy reading science books and watching documentaries about the latest discoveries in science. It inspires me to ask questions and think critically. My dream is to become a scientist when I grow up. I want to contribute to our understanding of the world and maybe even make some discoveries of my own.Unit 5: My Dream JobTitle: Becoming a TeacherWhen I grow up, I want to be a teacher. I admire the way teachers inspire and guide their students, helping them to learn and grow.I imagine my classroom to be a place where every studentfeels welcome and valued. I would create a supportive and stimulating environment where students can ask questions, share their ideas, and learn from one another.Teaching is not just about imparting knowledge; it's also about helping students develop important life skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. I would encourage my students to be curious and to never stop learning. In addition to teaching academic subjects, I would also focus on character education. I believe that it's important to teach students to be kind, respectful, and responsible citizens.I know that being a teacher is a challenging job,。
