Conception of love on Pride and Prejudice 论文 傲慢与偏见之爱情观
《pride and prejudice》读后感
The feeling after reading 《pride and prejudice》After finishing reading Austin‟s great work, I admired to their courage deeply. I have the impulse of motion to see it again , too much good feeling lead me to endless aftertastes and meaningful afterthoughts . Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice is a lighthearted tale of love and marriage in eighteenth-century England. It centers on the elder sisters of the Bennet family, Jane and Elizabeth. Their personalities, misunderstandings and the roles of pride and prejudice play a lavishing story. This great work gave us four kinds of opinions about love. But , the most praiseworthiness one is the incorporation of Elizabeth and Darcy . It just like a duel about pride and prejudice .I can not imagine if smart Darcy do not insist on his most sincere love and give up the second chance to tell his love to Elizabeth or both of them do not have the courage to overcome the gap between the wealth and birth ideas , may they earn the happinessat the end of the movie ?May not, vividly! Only by getting rid of the imbalance of money and position , and really know the basis of mutual understanding , respect and the same interests , they may get true love then . However , thatis not to say happy marriage do not consider about the that factors. At least, we should get enough food to eat and ample clothing to wear. This story is told from third point of view.First of all, the first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”. The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession. And this case is proved obviously in Darcy‟s family. Because of Elizabeth‟s poor condition and low position, Darcy …mother didn‟t like her and want their relationship break up and take them to pieces. That is to say, money and position caused prejudice between two people –Elizabeth and Darcy. As we all know, money and power is not everything, but without them, we can not do anything. At that time, that society, people have a deep impression about grading system; this ideal is in their mind for thousands of years. They accept it and do everything follow this rule. So, it is no doubt that Elizabeth and Darcy‟s marriage caused such a big debate. In addition, it is so wise for Elizabeth to emphasize on the love and respect together that earn a equal love ultimately . Whatever you are, people should respectthemselves and others. This is the base of being a person. Though, they love each other, people can not put away their own-respect. The rich are people, the poor also are people. The people who are in high positions are people, others also. Why those same people have their reasons to look down at others? Why they have right to decide others‟ life. It is not fair to do so. People con not divide people by rich and poor. Everyone is equal on every aspect such as character, knowledge and sex. No one can be arrogant because of wealthy or high status, and also can not be self-abased with economic poverty. Also , Elizabeth is resourcefulness and full of courage , the farer vision and strong self –respect , she is good at thinking too. Her advantages and noble qualities attracted Darcy. Similarly, Darcy‟ insistence aroused Elizabeth ‟feeling .Through constant of contact and polished ,they eliminated the pride and prejudice between them and they got together finally .Thistrue ,sincere but difficult love got everyone ‟blessing ,ofcourse ,this is a challenge to the social childish thought of that time too. So, however you poor, your special personalities can attract your lover. To get a good marriage, we need improve our own qualities and cultural mastery. Just as the saying goes, beauty in your heart is the real beauty. We should not adjust a person from her orhis appearance only. Sometimes, the appearance may be a untruething in order to cheat your eyes, only the clean and kind heart is a most important character of a person. Just because of this reasons, their real heart moved the god and they got happiness at the final page of book.Naturally, considering the reality, as for modern women, we should not be an advocate of money. Instead , people should have their own mind in love, the traditional thought of being matched of marriage should be abandoned . 21 century is the new stage of those teenagers , they need freedom , they need new survival code . Young people need to free love and happiness marriage. They are more independent than before , they can support themselves and they have the ability to get what they want . We, a new generation have more choice and the better ideas, no longer restricted by social limitations. When we choose a marriage , we need to consider the other‟ quality and his or her character more . Personally speaking, I admired Elizabeth for her intelligence and calm personality. Also, I firmly believed that “Jack shall have Jill.”As long as the sentient beings, lovers are sure to break through the concept of secular. They may be with each other wherever he or she is. They are brave to get together enough ,even though they are the people who have no money , no house and no car .Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time. We all need think about this problem clearly. At the end , we can not help thinking : can money determine everything ,can it buy this kind of sincere love and happiness ?。
Pride And Prejudice(傲慢与偏见)读后感
From Pride And Prejudice Appreciating the Love View 【abstract 】Scanning British and American novels are an important window for understanding Anglo-American culture, and the fiction derived from reality and above it. In a sense, the novel is a tiny time. This article, through reading the classical representative work Pride And Prejudice in character's emotional world, shows the writer lived in that era , and attaches this work with the background of social meaning and spiritual pursuit, which expounds the great work on the tradition of romantic feelings as well as the significance of research on British and American culture.1.IntroductionLove, in all ages,is throughout the main melody of English and American literature.“You are too generous to play with my feelings.if you still feel as you did last April ,tell me at once,My affections and wishes are unchanged, but one word from you still prevent me from ever mentioning them again.”This is the famous British writer Jane Austen masterpiece Pride And Prejudice of a paragraph, which was broken in the late 18th century full of sentimental appeal and melancholy hobby for English literature. Elizabeth' s smile likes a hazy morning from the glimmer of light, which raised a classical story about love in the early 19th century British.Pride and prejudice is perhaps one of the greatest love stories all over the world. It tells you" women have the right to live better, and should not be how to think women are granted ." "Gender discrimination against daily" the founder of Laura Bates said, "the first time someone said women thoughts worth listening". This literature came out in 1813. This book is acclaimed in Critics, and Sir Walter Scott praised Austin "clever strokes”, "getting the ordinary affairs and roles interesting"【1】.2. ContentCapitalism in that era, the industrial revolution began to spread, but not bring destruction to the British middle class life of the country in order to createa quiet rural ,by Jane Austen, different from the industrial society【2】.This article was described in the 19th century British, and small beautiful village happened throughout the story line that was Elizabeth and Darcy's love story. The ultimate result was that, of course, Elizabeth was touched by Darcy's love deeply .3.reflection in love from Pride And PrejudiceMrs.Bennet thought,“It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife.”The combination Mrs.Bennet with Mr Bennet was hasty love. Because of lust in the beautiful young lady, Mr Bennet married to her whose words vulgar and narrow-minded. Indeed ,marriage is the grave of love.Due to no communication in hobby, taste, and ideology, the mutual respect and trust between the couple had gone , his expectation of a happy family has become the bubble. And Lydia and Wickham's sensual love, this is a negative example. The Novel also reflects the wealth is the guarantee of marriage.By the end of the 18th century and early 19th century, the British capitalist economy gradually developed, and economy inevitably affected all aspects of society, even the social status .However,at a time, when British was the patriarchal society, men were the historical founders and modifiers ,and only men had the right to inherit property. Under this social background, Austin was living in a relatively isolated country, but she clearly realized that it was the age that property decided everything, including marriage【3】.For Elizabeth's close friend Charlotte attracted to money, married to Harpercollins, although intelligent Charlotte received a good education and got the appreciation of Elizabeth. While because of the straitened circumstances, she had to marry to the man who did not love at all. From those she encouraged her husband to do outdoor labor as much as possible for avoiding reducing the time together, which illustrated that she was not happy.Love is the foundation of a good marriage, "a marriage without love is not happy", the novel has been emphasized the point. From the other side to reflect the British social trends in marriage aswomen in seeking economic security, improving the social status, focusing on the family status regardless of personal emotion .Jane and Bingley were secular love, which Jane was and good, but too shy,and the same character of Bingley is uncertainty. On the one hand, Jane loved Bingley deeply; on the other hand, Bingley lacked confidence in whether she loved him with the mismatched status, family background. Also,Bingley and Jane were obstructed by Bingley's sister and his friends.Their love was ups and downs, but at last two of them were all was well that ended well. This also reflects the love attitude of the class society in the 19th century Britain. The best stage in love should be ambiguous stage.Although two people met for the first time, not to create a mutual good impression , especially Wickham's false calumny to Mr. Darcy , Elizabeth was deepened prejudice against Darcy.Darcy loved Elizabeth, and was willing to change for her on self-examination. Likewise, she eliminated the prejudice against Darcy and could not help falling in love with Darcy. Although their personality was different, but it seemed to Elizabeth, "the combination is good for both sides... she is nature and easy-going, lively and cheerful, also can edify him with gentle temper and easy-going manners; and he was well informed and deep experience, which she must be capable to benefit from this respect."【4】Story was ended by the combination of their joy and happiness. Elizabeth flatly refused the arrogant Darcy's expression, which reflected she pursued equal exchange and communication with men in her heart. She not only ignored the Darcy's social status and wealth, but also expressed the demands on the equal rights of social status.Regardless of her mother’s barrier , firm rejection of Harpercollins’s proposal, she adhered the independent observation, analysisand selection of the freedom of man.In British society at that time, it is almost equal to the cries of revolt. The heroine got both love and wealth, which is the most perfect ending.Although the era about the ball, chat, carriage, manor has gone away from us, Pride And Prejudice left the eternal topic for us--- people yearn for romantic love and the pursuit on and on.May we now the person who loves is true love with each other .B ibliography【1】references: the British newspaper:Pride And Prejudice, in 200 the world - xinhua net.【2】参考文献:谢怀志《电影的文学性与英英文学关联性研究》【3】参考文献:鲁晓燕(浅析《傲慢与偏见》中的男主人公们)【4】references:[English]. (完整word版)pride and prejudice英文读后感
Impressions of Pride and Prejudice"It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possess ion of a large fortune must in need of a wife ."The opening sentence of Pride and Prejudice left deep impression on readers almost two centuries ago. Jane Austen's tale of love and economics reaches us once more with the energy of a thorough novelty."Pride and Prejudice" has been a favorite novel of mine since I first read it and I've seen Laurence Olivier and Greer Garson, Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle and now Matthew MacFadyen and Kiera Knightly. That movie has such a strong appeal to me, I was totally obsessed by it.Amazingly enough I've never been disappointed. The material seems to be full proof. Colin Firth's Darcy, in many ways, is the Darcy I've always imagined. He's been an actor I've followed feverishly since his glorious Adrian LeDuc in "Apartment Zero", Matthew MacFadyen was totally new to me but he managed to create that sense of longing that makes that final pay off so satisfying. Kiera Knightly is a ravishing revelation. I must confess, I didn't remotely imagined that she was capable of the powerful range she brilliantly shows here. The other big surprise is Joe Wright, the director, in his feature film debut which is more than promising, it's extraordinary. The photography, the art direction and the spectacular supporting cast, in particular Donald Sutherland and Brenda Blethyn, makes this new version of a perennial classic a memorable evening at the moviesThen I find the book “Pride and Prejudice” immediately and read it over and over again. It’s one of my favorite books. And I just can’t wait a minute to express my feeling about it.I searched the Internet and found something about the author Jane Austen. As the author of Pride and Prejudice,Jane Austen was one of the famous realistic writers in the English literature in nineteenth century. Her novels were witty, warm and ironic portraits of the privilege classes of 18th- and 19th-century England. Her best-known works are Emma (1815), Pride and Prejudice (1813) and Sense and Sensibility (1811).Pride and Prejudice is one of the representative works of Jane Austen, first published in 1813. Though the story's setting is characteristically turn-of-the-19th-century, it retains a fascination for modern readers, continuing near the top of lists of 'most loved books.I couldn't forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these things, I must mention the situation in Britain at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father's possessions. Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that getting married is a way tobecome wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions. Jane Austen told us that money and possession determined everything, including marriage and love in her century. In “Pride and Prejudice”,the sister of Mr. Bingley strongly opposed his plan of marrying Jane because the Bennets don't have many possessions and their social positions are much lower than them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woman to marry a wealthy husband. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get marriage. In modern society, although the marriages of economic needs have decreased rapidly, the concept of “money determines everything”is stil d in some people's mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children's marriages. Education background, possessions, jobs remains the main reason that may influence one's marriage. Marry for money is still a big problem in our society. We can't help thinking: can money determine everything? Then let’s come to talk about the meaningful topic of this love story: Pride and prejudice are our common problems and weaknesses. In fact, everyone is very easy to be driven by his own subjective impression and thus easy to make incorrect comments on others, and then led to misunderstand between people. One’s first impression can affect a lot of things for sure, but it doesn’t mean it couldn’t be changed. The deeper you get to understand someone, the more objective points you will have on him or her. The changing of Elizabeth’s point of view towardsDarcy just proved this perfectly: no pride, no prejudice, and these two married just because they love each other, just because they need each other instead of need each other’s possessions. Austen is smart, because Elizabeth got beauty and intelligence while Darcy is handsome and rich. I even wonder if such a perfect marriage could take place in modern society. In brief, after reading this story, many feelings come to me. At the same time, I strongly recommend every university students to read this classical book and then think twice about this eternal subject: on love, which factor is that should be in the first place? In Pride and Prejudice,Jane Austen wrote four types of marriage: deal Elizabeth and Darcy, realizable Charlotte and Collins, felicitous Jane and Bingley, unhappy Lydia and Wickham. She pointed out emphatically economic consideration is the bonds of wedlock and love. She said marriage is not determined by property and family status; it’s unwise to marry without money, but it is wrong to marry for money; the marriage settled by love is happy and ideal.。

PrideandPrejudice(共5篇)第一篇:Pride and PrejudiceReflections and Confessions of Pride and PrejudiceIt’s a story about true love;It is a story about a man who changes into a better man and blossoms into a true gentleman;it’salso about a woman who changes because her prejudice of this man has been clarified.Pride and Prejudice was originally titled First Impressions.I love this title because it is the first impression of the main characters that develops throughout the novel, focusing on those of Elizabeth Bennet.First impressions play a very active role in the whole theme of Pride and Prejudice.Mrs.Bennet’s first impression ofMr.Bingley is that he is a rich, handsome man, so she can’t wait to marry off her daughter.Jane’s first impression of Mr.Bingley is so nice that she can’t help falling love,so does he.Because of so many first impressions , the story could go on.However, In this novel by Jane Austen, we don’t only see how first impressions effect relationships, but we also recognize how the characters in this story experience transformation through their lives of pride and prejudice.People often stereotype others on first impression, even if we are reluctant to do it.We all get a first impression of a new person that creates a mental image of his or her personality in our minds. That image usually lasts and can affect the relationship that follows.First im pressions cause these characters’ preconceived notions, based on wealth and class to activate more pride and prejudice against each other.ElizabethBennet’s first impression of Mr.Darcy is that he is “proud, above his company, and above being pleased,” whi le Mr.Darcy’s first impression of Elizabeth is that“she is nothandsome enough to tempt him.”The fact that her family is not wealthy and her mother is a bit overwhelming and pushy also has an impact on Mr.Darcy’s pride and prejudice toward Elizabeth. In my opinion, it’s the pride in the nature of Elizabeth and Darcy that leads to their false first impression. They are much alike in character and aretoo proud to surrender to the other one, thus the lack of communication leaves misunderstanding alone. If they could sit down and talk about all the things freely and calmly, they would have held onto each other earlier, with no more suspicion and disbelief. Thanks to the courage of Mr.Darcy at last, he told E his true feelings about her.And they both gradually learn to see beyond their first impressions of each other and learn how to make things right.theyfinally admit their faults of pride and ignorance.Although arrogance and prejudice are the weakness of humanity, luckily they overcame their false first impressions and were able to see the truth about each other and help each other grow. All in all, true love is not pride, suspicion and prejudice. It is the most romantic feeling origins from lovers’ understanding, tolerance and trust..

Pride and prejudice 傲慢与偏见赏析英文
Pride and prejudice 傲慢与偏见赏析英文"Pride and Prejudice" is the representative work of the famous British female writer Jane Austen. The work describes the emotional entanglement between the arrogant single young man Darcy and the prejudiced second lady Elizabeth, the wealthy single aristocrat Bingley and the virtuous lady Jane.Actually, I had already contacted this book very early, but at that time I was very impatient with the complexity of the plot. After reading a few chapters, I lost interest, so I kept it aside and picked it up again today. However, when I read the first few chapters, I still found it very boring. Later I realized that this was an ambush for the future. In an instant, more than thirty chapters have passed, and the character's character is clearly portrayed by the author. There seems to be only two kinds of people in this book: smart and stupid. There is no absolute difference between good and bad, except perhaps Wickham, a liar. He used his ingenious flattery ability and a "pleasing" appearance to fascinate Elizabeth, and kept washing his grievances and slandering Darcy. It is ridiculous that his words are full of flaws, and even though the brilliantly intelligent Elizabeth can argue with Miss Bingley and contradict Mrs. Catherine, Wickham is still led by the nose. To be honest, I don't think that Elizabeth was deceived to show that she is a "foolish man." People are always preconceived. Mr. Darcy's arrogant and rude appearance has already entered Elizabeth's mind. How can he feel good about him? How can you easily turn a deaf ear to the comments of others? It is normal to be biased against Darcy. By others, I mean the handsome Wickham. It is undeniable that Wickham has a handsome face and pretends to be very "gentleman" on the surface. Although there are sayings that "people should not look at their faces" and "knowing others, knowing their faces and not knowing their hearts", even though I live in the 21st century and watch this story as a bystander, I still have a good impression of Wickham. How can I blame Elizabeth This girl who lived in a bygone era? After closing the book and taking a closer look, I will slowly discover that the whole novel is attractive because of its relaxed and humorous style. Elizabeth's ridicule is exposing the true colors of the nobles who regarded themselves as gentlemen and ladies. It is unfortunate and ironic that Elizabeth's father, Mr. Bennet, actually laughed at his wife and daughter as a family happiness.。
AReflectiononPrideandPrejudice(傲慢与偏见读后感)
AReflectiononPrideandPrejudice(傲慢与偏见读后感)第一篇:A Reflection on Pride and Prejudice(傲慢与偏见读后感)A Reflection on Pride and Prejudice“It is a truth universally, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife”.When talking about the Pride and Prejudice, a famous book written by Jane Austin, this sentence comes up to my mind immediately. When I first read this sentence in my high school I burst into laughter. These words exactly express why so many girls try their best to tempt the affluent men.People always suggest themselves that it is necessary for a rich man to have a wife and then they will have the excuse to do something to approach to them. This sounds as if the rich men don’t have to search for their true love, their true love will try to find them. However, Pride and Prejudice shows another story which is absolutely different. The interesting conversations between Darcy and Elizabeth seem attractive to readers.I like the characteristic of Elizabeth because she is so different from others. She doesn’t treat Darcy as other people do.This book may be considered as a love story, however, it reflects the problems between upper class and the populace.A rich man as Darcy is born with pride. He disdains to speak to populace like Elizabeth at first.Wise as Elizabeth, she refuses to flatter such a proud man as Darcy. As a result, their story does not well so smoothly.Love is pure and simple, while marriage is much more complicated. After Darcy expressed his feeling to Elizabeth, she rejected him at the very first time. She doesn’t expect that Darcy have a crash on a girl like her, furthermore, they don’t match with each other for they totally have different social status.Elizabeth feels sorry for her misunderstanding on Darcyand thinks they are not match with each other.Jane Austen experienced something similar when she was young. She was born in Hampshire, southern England. Her father was a pastor. She never got married and lived with her family all her lifetime. She had fallen in love with a man who was from a Duke family. After a short happy time, they separated because the man’s father wanted him to marry with another woman whose family was very rich and beneficial to the man’s future.Jane Austen didn’t think she can share love with others and finally broke up with the man.She devoted herself into writing and enriched her life with excellent works. It was her experience that made her convinced true love is pure and money was less important.Maybe she was right, but in some sense, love is feed by money. For me, the views on love and marriage only by appreciating the marriage founded on the basis of mutual understanding and true love. However, a couple with mutual understanding and true love, they will sure to live happier with proper property, isn’t it?

Pride and Prejudice傲慢与偏见赏析
Pride and Prejudice1.主题(Theme)-----Theme of LoveIn Pride and Prejudice, love is not a necessary component of marriage. At the same time, it is shown to be a completely special emotion that is available only for intelligent, mature adults.------Theme of MarriageThe novel shows us the miserable marriage of the Bennets and mercenary marriages of Charlotte and Lydia, And with the marriages of Jane and Elizabeth front and center, the novel does allow room for good partnership as well.------Theme of WealthWealth is crucially important in Pride and Prejudice. There is almost no conversation about potential spouses that doesn't also calculate the annual income that the pair might have to live on. ------Theme of Society and ClassDarcy's character arc is to become the ultimate gentleman –he starts out wealthy, aristocratic, and good-hearted. Conversely, although Wickham seems to have the outer polish of an aristocrat, he is proven to be thoroughly ungentlemanly.------Theme of Women and FemininityThe novel is actually concerned with the plight of the middle-class, single woman. Most of the women we see here are caught in a bind.Pride and Prejudice offers us a look into this rather intensely feminine world of courting, marriage decisions, and social realities.------Theme of FamilyWe all have families that embarrass us to some extent, but the Bennet family takes it to a whole new level, creating endless problems for the two eldest Bennet daughters.the joy and pain of love, the pursuit of happiness and the infulence of social opinion. The main themes of pride and prejudice: love, reputation, class, courtship and pride. the last part of the paper shows that this great novel not only attracted thousands of readers in austen’s time, but also gave a special feeling to today’s people.1. love between darcy and elizabeth2. reputation--a woman’s reputation is of the utmost important3.class boundaries and prejudice4.courtship --those between darcy and elizabeth and between bingley and jane5. two ways of pride: positive and negative2.情节Pride and Prejudice is one of the representative works of Jane Austen, first published in 1813. Though the story's setting is characteristically turn-of-the-19th-century, it retains a fascination for modern readers, continuing near the top of lists of 'most loved books.Pride and Prejudice is Austen’s masterpiece. The story is mainly about Mrs. Bennet’s four daughters’marriage. Elizabeth, the second oldest daughter and Darcy’s love is used as the main plotline and the other three daughters’marriage as the subordinate plot. In the story, Charlotteand Mr. Collins marry for material wealth and social position. Lydia and Wickham marry for passion. While, Elizabeth and Darcy, Jane and Bingley marry for true love. The gallery of woman here is simply glittering. It is the panorama view of the female gender in the world of men. Moreover, for the first time throughout the history of English literature, Jane Austen has completely researched and discussed about the issue of women’s circumstance and social status. She proposed and insisted that women should fight for their independent dignity and equal rights. It represents an advanced thinking of feminine consciousness. Although she was born in the romantic period, she is not a romantic writer. She tends to berealistic, but is influenced by romanticism in some ways. Austen came from a well-cultured country family. As she published her novels anonymously, she was not famous in her lifetime. Scott admired her talent for portraying ordinary life in a wonderful way. Among her numerous strengths are her exquisite, compact prose, her moral judgment, her wit, and her vivid character portrayal. She was not married in her lifetime.Jane Austen,English writer, who first gave the novel its modern character through the treatment of everyday life. Although Austen was widely read in her lifetime, she published her works anonymously. The most urgent preoccupation of her bright, young heroines is courtship and finally marriage. Austen herself never married. Her best-known books include PRIDE AND PREJUDICE (1813) and EMMA (1816). Virginia Woolf called Austen "the most perfect artist among women."作者的写作特点One thing to note about her fiction is its limited subject. She wrote her novels for her own family circle. Austen’s writing feature is unifying the realistic and detailed portrayal of outward manners and behaviors combined with inward psychological exploration. Other features of her writing are the complex and subtle portrayal of characters, a classic precision of structure, a vivid and humorous dialogue, her quiet irony and her simple delicate analysis of character. Austen is the founder of the novel dealing with unimportant middle-class people. Her writing style is easy and effortless.作者作品Novel: Sense and Sensibility 《理智与情感》;Emma 《爱玛》Persuasion 《劝告》The Watsons 《沃特生》Fragment of a Novel 《小说片段》Plan of a Novel 《小说的安排》Pride and Prejudice;《傲慢与偏见》(the most popular) Northanger Abbey 《诺桑觉寺》Mansfield Park .《曼斯菲尔德花园》5.人物性格特点(1)Mr. BennettShrewd, witty, and learned and detached ,regrets his marriage to an intellectual and social inferior, holds his wife up to subtle ridicule ,fails his station in terms of the 18th century,Fails to provide a male heir or provision for his daughters ,fails to govern his family, allows others to assume his responsibilities and duties(2)Mrs. BennettComic creation, suffers from “nerves”,refuses to accept her role as wife or competent mother unintelligent, generally concerned with superficial matters ,Loud, overbearing and obnoxious(令人非常不快地;引起反感地) lacks any “gentility”,questing to get her five daughters married ,materialistic(3)Elizabeth BennettIntelligent, lively and animated, opinionated and staunch, demonstrates an acceptable revolt against conventions of society,Called “the most delightful a creature that ever appeared in print, sets the action in the novel, personifies the prejudice in the title of the novel(4)DarcyArrogant about his position in society, tied to conventional wisdom about marriage partnerships claims to be shy ,Opinionated,Capable of growing and adjusting his value system, follows the noblesse(贵族阶级) oblige code, underestimated by Elizabeth(5)George Wickham,Villian of the novel, carries the theme of appearance vs reality-- he has allthe appearance of goodness,Must marry for money to maintain his lifestyle, acts as a foil to Darcy ,acts as a moral lesson to Elizabeth(6)Lydia BennettChild of nature,animal-like in appetites and desires, similar to her mother, mother’s favorite Selfish,Demands instant gratification, behavior indicates that she cares very little for societal conventions,vain(7)Mary BennettIs emblematic of the “blue stocking”the woman who wants to be intellectual, intent is in affectation rather than genuine attraction to academia,E.g. her musical talent is forced and artificial,Vain about her imagined talents and intellects(8)Charlotte LucasElizabeth’s best friend, discounting Jane, older, unmarried, practical according to society’s standards, believes that any couple can be happy enough,Doesn’t want to know potential spouse well, marries for economic security and position, gains Elizabeth’s disapproval for her choice (9)Mr. CollinsComic characterPompous(自负的;夸张的) and officious(过分殷勤的;爱管闲事的;爱显示权力的),position is due to awards of the church financed by rich people,Regards the upper classes with too much awe and lowers his own worth,Parody(滑稽地模仿, 拙劣地模仿)of the extremes of “gentility and manners”(10)Lady Catherine de BourghAs ill bred and rude as Mrs. Bennett, deserves no special recognition based on her own abilities enjoys dictating to others,Continues the play on the word, “accomplishment”,emphasizes that gentility and good breeding are not solely based on wealth and privilege(11)Mr and Mrs GardnerPoint out that gentility is not necessarily apportioned to the upper classes, exhibit easy and admirable manners and decorum,Act as the parents that Elizabeth should have had, appear to “validate’the new observations of Elizabeth(12)Jane BennettNaïve and gullible, insists on believing the best about everyone,is 18th century epitome of beauty and femininity, reserved and conventional in her manner,Slightly insipid, lacks animation6.人物的爱情观(1)L ove of Blindness:Marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Bennett is the result of Mr. Bennett’s feeling and action on impulse. He is just captivated by the beautiful appearance of Mrs. Bennett. If they do have love, this kind of love shall be ephemeral and unable to bear tests. The reason that he marry this woman is that he is misled by her submissive image under her beauty, therefore, all so-call true love for her do not exist any longer after their marriage. On their marriage, impulse is over sense, beauty considering is over than characteristics judging. Their marriage is an outcome of an unwise choice of Mr. Bennett. This kind of love and marriage produced under imprudent conditions leads to not only unhappiness of marriage itself .(2)Love of Common Customs:Love between Jane and Bingley is the ordinary type of “Talented guy and beautiful lady”or “Gifted scholar and beautiful lady”,they can hold hands of each other and live together in theirentire lives. They will respect each other like guests, treat each other with courtesy .Marriage of Jane and Bingley is a combination of sense and sensibility. From the very beginning, they are just attracted by each other on sense, but when Bingley finally decides to marry Jane in despite of her indifferent family background and her vulgar mother, their marriage has reached to the high degree of unity of sense and sensibility.(3)Love of Fleshliness:Relationship between Lydia and Wickham can just be called as “Love of Fleshliness”. These two people is the targets that being criticized by the author. The author states out a view of her own through them, that is, simply seeking for sex would undoubtedly bring themselves and their families with troubles. Therefore, the marriage of these two people would not be happy at all. This also represents a view of the author. From the point of the author’s view, a marriage should be a combination of sense, sensibility and morality. However, Lydia and Wickham possess none of them. Therefore, their marriage is doomed to be a failure from the very beginning.(4)Love of Sense:Love of sense between Collins and Charlotte is based on considering and weighing the economic interests.Collins not only has no any personality charm at all, but also stupid and foolish,he is humble and submits himself to Mrs. Catherine. Charlotte treats marriage as the only choice of those ladies with little property while being educated well, and also their most pleased refuge that protect them from poverty. She considers marriage totally from the point of view of economic interests.(5)Love of True Love:True love is not superficially founded on the universally temporal love that “judged by appearance”. On the contrary, they reject each other from the very beginning when they just get to know each other, however, they gradually feel souls of each other and realize shortcomings of themselves when they constantly affiliate with each other. From the pride of Darcy and prejudice of Elizabeth at the beginning gradually to the inter-attraction, then to falling in love with each other, this way of falling in love is no doubt what the author Jane Austen appreciates and praises. As a matter of fact, she has spared no effort to describe these two characteristics, and Elizabeth is her favorite hostess in all novels written by herself.(6)Brief Summary:(作者的观点)From the several different marriages mentioned above, we can conclude out Austen’s value of love and marriage, that is, a perfect marriage should be combined with morality, material, sense and sensibility and consideration of economic interests to some extent, however, the author holds the view that too much consideration of economy is harmful.总的结果如下(照抄):1-Marriage of Couple Bennett is result of Mr. Bennett’s emotional impulse and Mrs. Bennett’s consideration of economic interests;2-love and marriage of Jane and Bingley is based on sense and sensibility;3-marriage of Lydia and Wickham is completely founded on fleshliness, they completely ignore social morality and the need of sense and sensibility, they are the targets that be looked down on;4-marriage of Collins and Charlotte is based on Charlotte’s consideration ofeconomic interests, it is actually a loss of morality that she completely equates marriage with economic gain or loss;5-marriage of Elizabeth and Darcy is really founded on a combination of sense and sensibility, with the emergence and disappearance of contradiction, they finally reach a consensus which leads to the morality sublimation of their marriage, since Darcy eliminate his pride and Elizabeth takes away her prejudice.Among these five marriages, only marriage of Elizabeth and Darcy suits the standards that kept in the author’s mind. Their marriage is the most perfect and successful.7.个人观点(爱情)In my view, the marriage bases on social position and money can’t bring happiness in life. Aimless marriage and love are unpractical. Happiness needs to be managed by ourselves. No matter which person you choose out of whatever reasons, you should be keen to him/her and make life more colorful. Believe it or not, it's not use to crying for the split milk, so you should take responsibility of your own choice.。
comment on pride and prejudice
Reaction to Pride and PrejudicePride and Prejudice adopted the love and marriage of the youth as its subject. However, the difference is that the main route is the complication of love between the hero and the heroine. The story described four different kinds of morality and standard. The latter two pieces of marriage are contrast to the former two. Following the four marriage, the story is full of complication, misunderstanding, conflicts and doubt. The plot of the story is whirling but sometimes comes to a dead end; it winds through high peaks, but sometimes it goes through dense willow trees and reaches bright flowers. By the way, the author’s description is humorous and objective, whi ch makes me simmer with laugher. The story mainly described the marriage of Bennets’ several daughters. Through the description of the four different marriages, it showed several different ideas about marriage. In love, what should we put at the first place, appearance, wealth, status or love itself? The author did not clarify his own opinion by the way of argument, but he described several different marriages to let the readers think by themselves.Although the story described many people, the author arranged ingeniously, so it made clearly the main roles and the secondary roles. The main roles are Elizabeth.Bennet and Darcy . Elizabeth is an enthusiastic and active countryside young lady, but she did not lack pure. She did not know how to scheme against each other, how to distinguish truth and false, so prejudice appeared in her mind. Darcy is a nobleman in upper society. His celebrated status made him feel proud, so that people ignored he tall and strong figure, his bright eyes and graceful eyebrows, his graceful manners. No matter how wealthy hi is, people around only think that he has a high opinion of himself and cares for nobody. What comforts us is that contradiction between Elizabeth and Darcy dissolved at last. But if Darcy did not pay court to Elizabeth or he did not clarify after being refused and humiliated, and gave up seeking love, so what result will it be? It willbe a tragedy. Maybe the inflexible love between Jane and Mr.Bingley will be destroyed on one day. Maybe Lydia’s rash and unconsid ered actions will bring to the family shame. However, all these did not happen. Because Darcy saw innocence by his reasonable sight. Among the main roles and the secondary roles, except for Elizabeth , Mr.Darcy and Mr.Bingley , all the rest almost have many shortcomings, but because of the description of these less important people, we feel of the truth of it. Because in our real life, in fact we act these inglorious roles in some aspects. Such as selfishness, snobbishness and unconventional attitude in Mrs.Bennet ; returning kindness with ingratitude in Wickham ; dishonesty, foolishness in Collins ; indulge in arbitrary decisions and peremptory actions in Catherine .Certainly, people in the story are not all of wretched appearance. Jane is the eldest young lady in the family. She is beautiful and of a good temper, even a little naïve. She never thinks others as evildoers—even though she knows that someone is cheating her.A major theme in much of Jane Austen’s work is the importance of environment and upbringing on the development of young people’s character and morality. Social standing and wealth are mot necessarily advantages in her world, and a further theme common to Austen’s work is ineffectual parents. In Pride and Prejudice, the failure of Mr. and Mrs. Bannet as parents is blamed for Lydia’s lack of moral judgment; Darcy, on the other hand, has been taught to be principled and scrupulously honorable, but is also proud and overbearing.Pride and Prejudice employs the narrative technique of free indirect speech. By using narrative which adopts the tone and vocabulary of a particular character, the author invites the reader to follow events from Elizabeth’s viewpoint, sharing her prejudices and misapprehensions. After reading the story, I deeply realized that we should not classify people as valuable or humble according to their wealth. Nobody should be prejudice because of his wealth or status Also, before we know the truth, we should not believe in something rashly. What counts the most is that love itself is the most valuable, and it has nothing with wealth or status or appearance.。

作文:《傲慢与偏见里的爱情观》英文版本Pride and Prejudice is a classic novel that tells the impact of social hierarchy and prejudice on people's love. In the novel, we can see different characters' different views on love, demonstrating their exploration of the concept of love.Firstly, the main lovers Darcy and Elizabeth in the novel represent a true and profound view of love. Their love was not love at first sight, but rather after experiencing many twists and turns and misunderstandings, they ultimately achieved happiness. Their love is based on mutual understanding and respect, rather than being influenced by social status and external factors. Their view on love tells us that true love requires time and effort to manage, and both parties need to be able to tolerate and understand each other's shortcomings. On the other hand, other couples in the novel, such as Jane and Bentley, represent a shallow and vain view of love. Their love is built on appearance and status, lacking true depth and connotation. They only care about their own reputation and fame, but cannot truly understand and tolerate each other. This view of love brought them brief happiness, but ultimately it could notlast.Through the novel Pride and Prejudice, we can see the different perspectives of different characters on love. In this society, love is often influenced by external factors, but true love should be based on mutual understanding and respect, rather than being influenced by the eyes of others. Only when we can truly understand and tolerate each other can we enjoy true happiness and love.中文版本《傲慢与偏见》是一部经典的小说,讲述了社会等级和偏见对人们爱情的影响。

IntroductionPride and Prejudice is written by Jane Austen who is from Britain and is a famous female writer in British literature history in the 19th century and whose novels, published from 1811 onwards, include Sense and Sensibility, Pride and Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Northanger Abbey, Persuasion, most of which are based on fodders of daily life and describe the living situation of the countryside and town and the ways of the world in the state of being conservative and inaccessible from the late 18th to the early 19th and among which Pride and Prejudice gains more extensive influence and win a number of love so as to that a great plenty of “Jane fans” as soon as it come into the reality. It is unquestionably rare. Original manuscripts of her published novels do not exist, aside from two canceled chapters of Persuasion in the British Library. In Britain at that time, the novel stands on a low state and even continues a lower position due to the prevailing of poetry of romanticism. There are multiple “Gothic novels” that is full of violence and revenge and “sentimental novels” at every corner rather than literature writers and their works that are eulogized by few of readers in British literature for about 4o years from in 1770s later on. The plot of Gothic novel often takes place in the old blockhouse in Middle Ages and is always connected with ghosts and murders full of these elements like fear, super-nature, death and family curse. Readers are already tired of such a plot of being hypocritical, weird, fake and mincing so that they regard the Gothic novels as tools for killing time. Sentimentalism originates from Britain in the late 18th and expands on condition of that the British capitalism pullulates fast at that time, the gap of the rich and the poor in society is amplifying, the social contradiction is gradually aggravating and the sentimental feelings of the people living in middle and under-middle class is leading to a deep state owing to lack of guarantee in their own social statuses materials living. As one of readers at that time, Austen still shows her boredom and dissatisfaction. Her two novels Sense and Sensibility and Northanger Abbey are created in the way of imitating the style of “Gothic novels” and “sentimental novels” and doing so has a superiority to have chance to satirize the two kinds of types of novels. Pride and Prejudice is based on daily life with relaxing and jocular tone and quick-witted and humorous language which makes the content is imbued with the style of comedy and leads to a new literature style which is different from that in the past. The familiar living situation in the article reminds readers of something that they have experienced in their lives in the soon past and the unique and distinctive characteristic brings readers into a world full of humor and relax. The whole version in two aspects of the story line and model of figures and languages overflows with a kind of style of light comedy.II. Love view on Pride and PrejudicePride and Prejudice is still a forever love theme. It can be said that marrying a rich man is a beautiful dream for every girl. Although the novel is on background of the social situation in Britain in the 18th century, it comes to meet readers in the 19th century, in which male is the centerof times and the inheritor of assets. This is why though Mr. Bennet himself has five daughters he makes his nephew Koslin be his heir. He has nothing to do although he thinks doing so is a unfair matter and a guilt that can not be cleared away and he is tired of that girls have no right to inherit the assets. Women have to gain the guarantee of living through marriage and live in such a society controlled by men. For women who have no source of economy, marriage is the last purpose while love is only a luxury in their life.1.1. Love view from the perspective of protagonist Elizabeth BennetThe female protagonist Elizabeth Bennet in the book Pride and Prejudice persuades us at her own real action that: don not marry for money, status and property but it is not feasible if marriage does not consider about these factors. She finally harvest perfectly satisfactory matrimony because she can stick to her own view and behave herself so as to change passivity into initiative. Her value of marriage not only comes into people’s notice at present but also cautions modern humankind that what is love, what is value of love, and what is worth being taken example by us.Elizabath Bennet’s value of marriage is worth being taken into consideration. She does not have great world-known achievements; she does not break with her family; she just attends sundry family parties and balls and goes to visit relatives with her sisters. The narrow field of view prevents her from acquiring economic independence from working herself so that she can not get rid of marriage as other girls. Anyway, cleverness belongs to her from beginning to end for that she does not a soldier who can easily destroy everything unreasonable. On the contrary, she tells people about her though, action and choice in result of that her assertion gets to be preserved and the terrible influence falls into the lowest position. Because of pursing marriage full of sincere love and requesting the both parties mutually respect and understand each other, she refuses Koslin’ proposition and finally defuses all prejudice and misunderstanding with Darcy and marry him happily. We try to imagine that if Elizabath Bennet has the similar view on marriage and family, then she can not describe her beautiful future in her colorful mind. Persistence and persuasion on marriage makes her harvest happy marriage, which gives an important and meaningful lesson that marriage not only needs money, status, property but also love.1.2. Contrast with modern love viewModern though on view of love of Elizabath Bennet is taken onto stage for discussion. The thought and viewpoint, among which view of marriage’s transformation is incredible, of modern people change as the transformation of economy, science and technology and culture. Love is nearly put into the last position on the mind of modern boys and girls. The first thing that can be taken into consideration is as following: status, rank, condition of family, education background, income, character, appearance and so forth. Nothing moves forward without money but money does not make everything become possible for one to achieve.1.3. 4 segments of marriage on Pride and PrejudiceThe author mainly describes 4 segments of marriage including realistic marriage (Lucas and Collins), impulsive marriage (Lydia and Wickham), perfect marriage (Jane and Bentley), idealmarriage (Elizabath Bennet and Darcy). These factors including no impulsion, facing all opposing power, protecting love, and persevering in love constitute the basic of gaining ideal marriage while marriage for materials’ purpose can not last forever and further. Yu Dan, a Chinese famous scholar, said,”Although ideal marriage have no stationary mode, one must understand himself before involving a segment of marriage and choose the other party who suits himself not who is the best.” Hold your hands and live with you together till the end of life for who suits you is the best. Elizabath Bennet’ view and perseverance on love self happy marriage do not submerge in river of long history. Eliminate misunderstanding and admire each other because cherishing each other in heart is the more beautiful in the love world. Elizabath Bennet teaches humankind to recognize themselves and persist their persuasions for making correct choice and getting what they really want.1.4. Lesson on ElizabathThe enlightenment of value on Elizabath Bennet’view of love gives social people a meaningful lesson. Women are just men’s appendages and do not know how to master their life. Take Elizabath Bennet’ sister Lydia who are beautiful and enthusiastic but frivolous, foolish and full of vanity and who regards social intercourse as her self-absorption for example, is proud of contacting with the officer who is stationed in Meryton in result of eloping with the officer finally. Lydia really loves Wickham but the piece of love without enough thought and consideration at first sight comes to end after lasting less than two weeks. Before knowing Wickham well, Lydia perfunctorily makes her mind on her marriage she foolishly believe that the guy will love her as she love him. Marriage which is unreasonable and can not last for a long time between Lydia and Wickham belongs to a kind of impulsion of physiology nature rather than her destiny. Unreasonable impulsion just takes her misforture. Lydia represents the emotion while Elizabath Bennet who tells that love needs no impulsion but the reason represents thereason just as that Walpole said,”The society is a comedy if one thinks of it through intellect but a tragedy through emotion.” There is nothing more important than that one holds his own fate in his hands and is responsible for himself. Elizabath Bennet makes things reach a better result through utilizing intelligence and cleverness to persist her view on basic of reason rather than blindly takes action at will in accordance with her own thought. As modern female, they are lucky because they have more chance and right to master their life. Elizabath Bennet and Tao Yan Ming, a Chinese Poet who don not yield to power for an official’s salary and others like that are staying away from human when more and more people surrender to family, work, status, money and so forth before reality.1.4.1. Individual valueEveryone has his value of existing because great heroes and the tiny common people are all equal in the world regardless of appearance and status from the point of an individual. Elizabath Bennet’ affirmation for his value lets her obtain happiness. Her family background is no match for Darcy’but this does not make her feel self-contemptuous and belittle herself and behave timid before Darcy instead of that she uses smart words to satirize him to express his dissatisfaction on Darcy. Elizabath Bennet is confident for herself and respects for herself and she does not complain about her family and birth though she does not degree on some actions of her mother and sister. When Darcy’aunt comes to her house for purpose of requesting that she can not degree on Darcy’s proposition, she shows her attitude audaciously without fear of his aunt’s momentum and position, and she say,”I have made my mind and I can take action that I think it is right if what I am doing can brings me happiness so I do not care about you and anyone who is not related to me. ” This is Elizabath Bennet, a girl who are strong-minded, clever, intelligent and beautiful and before whom everything will get a answer. She is good at observation and judge and also she has a independent mind. Though she has no outstanding beauty, she wins the heart of noble young man Darcy who evaluates Elizabath Bennet like this: I am always thinking deeply and feel the enormous happiness given by a pair of vivid and beautiful eyes on a beauteous face of a lovely girl. Subduing Darcy is just the unique character charm of Darcy.1.4.2. Sincere loveFemale at that times take example of Elizabath Bennet while modern female can do so. The Chinese-known teleplay Dwelling Narrowness which is also called Wo Ju deepens a situation that girls and boys do not believe in love and on contrast regards money as a incomparably significant thing. The fact that Wo Ju is deemed so dangerous by the censors only reveals how deeply it strikes a chord with China’s aspiring classes. Obviously, one notable exception the housing drama Dwelling Narrowness, which strikes a chord for a public property costs is cancelled and later criticized by officials. Elizabath Bennet gives a good answer to what people should do in front of marriage and love, that is, I have made my mind and I can take action that I think it is right if what I am doing can brings me happiness so I do not care about you and anyone who is not related to me. Meanwhile, Li Yinhe, a protagonist in the teleplay Wo Ju, has a classic lines, that is, substance and love are a pair of opposite nouns so they do not care about substance if they love each other and on contrast, there is no more composition of love moistening relationship between two lovers if they get together, attract each other and marry for condition of materials. Love based on material will not last for a long time. Li Yinhe holds the opinion about how to make their choices between substance and love for people that there is no enough space given love for substance is attached more importance to in today’s life so it is necessary for people to leave enough space for love if they are willing to pursue the importance and value of love before realistic substance because the ideal marriage lies in that two people get married and are combined for love not for other factors.1.4.3. View based on the author’s individual backgroundThere we think seriously of view of love of Pride and Prejudice on basic of Austen’s life background. Austen’s works invariably covers some certain character. It was also in her refreshingly light and ironic style, evident from the first sentence of the novel----it is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife, which presents a vital factor that influence marriage called money. Reason, affection and morality consist of psychic love. Austen does not marry anyone in her marriage. She refuses a proposition from a master of a manor when she was 27 years old, which means that she repulses a good life that has guarantee. Austen takes the words that are her own authentic thoughts in her mind out of Marianne’s mouth----A girl who is 27 years old does not expect to feel love and inspire love. Austen’s ideal mode of marriage bases sincere love between two lovers. At that times, People living in poor situation regard girls’ marriage as a pretty important thing to do often takenecessary stratagems to promote it just as lines in the novel go,”Such was Miss Lucas’s scheme; and appearances were so favourable that when they parted at night, she would have felt almost sure of success if he had not been to leave Hertfordshire so very soon.” As unique characters girls have, Charlotte tends to become bashful when she is talking about boys, love and marriage just as lines go,”Once or twice she could discern a faint blush; but in general Charlotte wisely did not hear.” Girls always keep a watchful eye on others’ love and marriage whatever reasons this stems from as lines go,”…Poor, Charlotte!...Not that I think Charlotte so very plain----but then she is our particular friend…Charlotte did not stay much longer, and Elizabeth was then left to reflect on what she had heared…Ihave met with two instances lately; one I will not mention; the other is Charlotte’s marriage…Elizabeth, for sake of saying something that might turn her mother’s thoughts, now asked her if Charlotte Lucas had been at Longbourn since her coming away….”Elizabath has similar opinion on love and marriage with Austen, whose words and action reflect Elizabeth’s though in her heart. Austen takes girls as the principle part of description of the novel plot and shows girls’consciousness, which fights against mode of girls being passive and their fates being on serious restrictions.Mrs. Austen saids,”she is dealing with frivolous matters all over her life and is persecuted and is discriminated against.” Austen’s mother always admonishes her forgives her errors, from which we can conclude that Austen’s mother is a uncommon and democratic woman who lives in such situation at that times and she has enormously differences with the novel’s mother of Elizabeth who is vulgar and mundane. Austen’s world in her mind is full with entertaining dance, romantic tea in the afternoon and comely stories. Austen’s novels always satirize people’s foolish, privacy, aimless. The novels of Austen inherit and develop preeminent and realistic tradition in the 18th century and explain the small places around her. The description of image of lady and gentleman is prepared for the climax of realistic novels in 19th century. The kinds of unique novels whose comedy effects get most readers’favors reflect social situation and state from the 18th century to the 19th century, which functions on changing the philistine atmosphere existing in creation of works. “Can sitting with Shakespeare” is given to Austen because her works show the whole situation of British country’s life which is not influenced and stroke by industry revolution of capitalism and show daily life and beautiful and dulcet scenery on countryside. Austen, who spent her childhood at her hometown, was born, lived and worked at Steventon Rectory in Hampshire in England at a period of the turn of the century between the 18th century and 19th century, which provides her with rich materials so as to create so splendid works for her in her short life. The novel Pride and Prejudice more or less mirrors the love experience of Austen. In 1796, Austen met Thomas Langlois Lefroy, a Irish lawyer who is very smart, considerate and romantic, and fell in love with each other at the first sight, but it is ratter unfortunate for them because Austen was expected to marry a rich man with a great fortune while Her boyfriend being born in poor family was just a young and poor guy who had no more money. On the contrary, Lefroy’s parents ask him to marry a rich girl and take her home Ireland. As consequence, Austen chooses to be single for all her life because she can not meet a guy as nice as his previous boyfriend while Lefroy finds a woman with noble family in spite of that he does not love her the way as he loves Austen. What a poor love!III. ConclusionAccording to these backgrounds, we can deduce that Austen has nice wishes for sweet love and simple life. In reality, she can not get her love so she puts his persuasion for love on series of novels, especially Pride and Prejudice, in result of appearance of image of Elizabeth, a brave and clever girl who dares to seek and purse her own love regardless of social prejudice and viewpoint. Luckily, the door of happiness comes to open to her at last and she happily gets married with her lover Darcy and lives a sweet life since then on.Love view on Pride and Prejudice is worth taking example for modern human at modern advanced times. Love makes the world more beautiful and there is love, there is flowers, smile and happiness.Bibliography[1]. 韦斯特改编, 《傲慢与偏见》. 北京:外语教学与研究出版社. 1997.[2]. 奥斯丁著, 《傲慢与偏见》. 西宁:青海人民出版社. 1998.[3].
