1. Bring in a photo of a typhoon scene where there are fallen trees and rubbish on the streets (from newspapers, magazines, books, etc.).
2. (Hold up the photo) T: This is a picture of a streets after typhoon came. What did you see?
3. Elicit responses from Ss.
4. Have Ss look at the page.
5. T: Let’s listen to the tape and read the story.
6. Play the tape and have Ss look at the pictures and dialog in their books.
7. T: Let’s listen again and repeat.
8. Play the tape, pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat.
9. Put Ss into small groups and have them practice acting out the dialog.
