七里港的一切都在呻吟。
积着油垢的后窗在呻吟，屋顶上空着的鸽笼在呻吟，拐角处悬挂着的孤灯在呻吟。
燕子衔着泥在屋檐下筑巢，叽叽咕咕地喧闹。
有顽皮的孩子拿着木棍把燕窝捅下来，燕窝掉在卵石铺成的路上，这燕窝在呻吟。
母亲洗衣服的时候，十根手指冻得通红。
她倒是从不抱怨，只是叹息。
