As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow through the nursery window, it was time for little Timmy to face the inevitable task of cleaning up his toys. The room was a colorful chaos of stuffed animals, building blocks, and plastic cars, each vying for attention and space.

Timmy approached the task with a sigh, knowing that his mother's rule was clear: "No toys out of place after playtime." He began with the stuffed animals, carefully picking up each one and placing them on the plush shelves

that lined one wall of the room. The bears, elephants, and lions found their respective spots, their glassy eyes watching Timmy as he worked.

Next, he turned his attention to the scattered building blocks. These were more challenging, as they were smaller and seemed to multiply the more he picked up. Timmy sorted them by color and shape, stacking them neatly into their designated storage bin. The once cluttered floor began to show patches of its original wood, a sign of progress.

The plastic cars and action figures were a different story. They were strewn about haphazardly, having been the last toys played with in a high-speed chase across the room. Timmy gathered them up, one by one, and placed them in a large toy box with a picture of a racetrack on the lid. He imagined the cars zooming around the track one last time before they

settled in for the night.

As the room slowly transformed from a playground to a sanctuary of order, Timmy felt a sense of accomplishment. He took a step back to survey his work. The once overwhelming task now seemed manageable, and he was proud of the neat space he had created.

His mother entered the room, a smile spreading across her face as she saw the tidy room. "Well done, Timmy," she praised, ruffling his hair. "You've done a great job cleaning up your toys."

Timmy beamed at the compliment, knowing that not only had he completed his chore, but he had also earned the right to play again tomorrow. As he switched off the light and closed the door, the toys remained silent, waiting for the next day's adventure, and Timmy looked forward to the fun that would follow.
