外研版八年级英语(下)Module 3全模块教案
Content:Module 3 On the radio [Junior 2, New standard English]
一、题材内容
本模块以广播为话题, 具体涉及对电台的简单介绍收听广播和播音员的职业生活等。

要求同学们通过学习本模块, 能够粗略了解播音节目的制作过程和播音员的生活,同时明白只有从小立志, 努力学习, 勇于实践, 才能实现理想, 实现人生价值。

语法重点是动词的( to) + v. 或v.-ing 形式作宾语。

通过操练,使学生在掌握语言结构的同时,既学习语言知识,感悟语言功能,又能了解广播知识。

教学中教师应随时随地以与广播有关的知识吸引学生,灵活利用各种素材组织教学过程和内容。

充分调动学生的积极性。

教学重点和难点
重点:1.通过了解广播知识训练学生的听、说、读、写能力,掌握宾语此句(2); 能掌握动词后接( to) + v. 或v.-ing 的形式的用法。

难点:进一步掌握动词后接( to) + v. 或v.-ing 的形式的用法。

教学方法
基于课程改革的理念及“第二语言习得论”,培养实现人的可持续发展和人的主体精神的自我完善和发展所必需的能力和素质,运用任务型教学途径,围绕核心任务,设定小任务,开展和谐愉悦的课堂活动,强调兴趣第一的原则,初步设计“P—T—P”自主学习立体模式:pre-task…task-cycle…post-task。

二、教材处理
核心任务:能够收集有关资料,运用所学知识做一期校内广播节目。

三个环节如下:
pre-task:学生联系生活实际,激活背景知识,。

task –cycle:通过整个模块的听说读写的训练,强化介绍广播知识的表达能力,为完成
任务做好铺垫
post-task:达成任务,展示成果,反馈学习情况
三、教材安排
根据学生学习英语的特点和规律,我们把本模块划分为4课时:
Period 1: Listening and Vocabulary &Pronunciation and Speaking
Period 2: Reading and Vocabulary
Period 3: Writing& Around the world &Module Task
Period 4: Language in use
注:教学时应根据学生的学习水平、生活实际水平、接受程度及课堂出现的临时状况进行运用、调整及筛选。

Module 3 On the radio
Unit 2
Teaching Content: Reading and Vocabulary
Teaching Aims and Demands:
1. Language knowledge:
New words: explain, voice, seem, listener, weekly, article, microphone, glass, sound, check, look down, ask for, close down.
Key structures: Verbs followed by v.-ing form or (to) +v.
It seemed that… (重点)
2. To understand the passage and analyse the order of the passage. (难点)
3. Attitudes: We should have courage to challenge the new things.
Learning strategies: Communicative approach.
Teaching Aids: Multi-Media (Tape recorder, video, OHP, handout)
Teaching Procedures:
Part I:Revision
1. Help students to revise what is learnt in Period one of this module.
Show them some pictures about the new words in last period. Have the Ss. spell them chorally and individually.
2. Translate some sentences into Chinese.
We’d like you for taking us around Radio Beijing.
D on’t mention it.
Everyone needs to speak English well.

We decide what to listen to… and who to see.

Part II: Preparation
Task 1 : Learn the new words.
Directions: Label the pictures with the words.
(1). Read through the words on the screen. Have the Ss. Repeat them after you.
(2).Read the words separately and have them remember them.
(3).Make some sentences with the words.
(4) Call back the answers from the whole class.
Task 2: Talk about the picture
Directions:
(1). Let the Ss look at the picture and discuss it with a partner.
(2). Call back the answers from the whole class.
Part III: Scanning and Skimming
1.Task: Read the passage and answer the questions in Activity
2.
Directions:
Step one: The teacher ask the Ss to read the passage.
Step two: Ss read the passage and answer the questions individually.
Step three: Call back the answers from the whole class.
3. Task: Read the passage and decide where you’re likely to read the passage
Directions:
Step one: First make sure the Ss understand what they should do. Ss read the passage and do activity 3 on page 21 individually and check with a partner.
Step two:Call back the answers from the whole class, having individuals read out the answers.
4. Task: Answer the questions about words and expressions in the box in Activity 4.
Directions:
Step one:Read through the sentences and make sure the Ss understand what they mean. Ss do activity 4 on page 21 individually and check with a partner.
Step two: Call back the answers from the whole class.
Part IV: Dealing with expressions:
1. And you want a job in radio? (Unit2, P20)
陈述句用升调读就变成了问句,这种问句称为陈述问句, 如:
The train is in already?
2. Shouldn’t you be at school? (Unit2, P20)
这是一个否定问句,带有惊讶情绪,这种问句还可以表示责难和赞赏, 如:
--Why are you driving so fast? Don’t you know the traffic regulations?
--Aren’t these flowers beautiful?
3. When I was about four or five years old, I remember sitting close to the radio in the living room, listening to my favourite programmes, and to the voices of my favourite presenters. (Unit2, P20) 在我四五岁的时候,我记得自己坐在客厅里的收音机旁, 听我喜欢的节目和喜欢的播音员的声音.
⑴remember doing sth. “记得做过某事”;
remember to do sth. “记着去做某事” , 如:
I remember seeing her once.我记得曾见过她一次。

Remember to close the door when you leave. 你离开时记得关上门.
⑵sitting close to the radio in the living room, listening to my favourite programmes, and to the voices of my favourite presenters.在句中做状语,表示伴随情况.
my favourite programmes, 和 the voices of my favourite presenters.并列作listening to的宾语, and后面省略了listening.
⑶close
①在这里是形容词,意思是“离得近,距离短” , 如:
The table was close to the wall.
①它还有“关上”的意思, 如:
Close the door, please.
4.It seemed that they were speaking to me in person. (Unit2, P20)
⑴It seemed that… 表示“看起来似乎…”的意思, 如:
It seemed that he had no money with him.
⑵in person“亲自” , 如:
He went to Beijing to receive the award in prison.
5. Once a week, I played my favourite music from my father’s computer to the listeners, talked about life at school, and then closed down and did my homework. (Unit2, P20)
⑴Once a week “一周一次”,先说次数,再说一周,如:
Once a week, I go to the cinema with my father.
⑵close down “关闭,停止”的意思, 如:
The small shop on the corner has closed down.
Most television and radio stations close down at 12:00 pm.
6.One day I learnt about Internet radio. (Unit2, P20)
learn about “听说”的意思, 如:
I learn about the story of the town from my grandpa.
7. Just tell me what you had for breakfast. (Unit2, P20)
本句是祈使句, 还要注意宾语此句what you had for breakfast, 是疑问词+陈述句语序.
Take back what you said, or I will be angry.
Part V: Language use
1. Activity 10 on page 106 in the WB.
Direction: Ss do it by themselves .Let’s see who can finish it as soon as possible. Then discuss in pairs and finally share their answers with the class.
2.Give the students some time to recall what they’ve learned in this class.
Part VI: Homework: Retell the text.
Part VII: A test: Exercise 11 on page 146 in the WB.。
