自主备课（学习）学习目标：
1. To understand the name of Chinese things.
2. To know the names of Chinese sights
3. To distinguish the cities which the sights lie in
学习重难点：

2. Sentences: Although there’s still a long way to go, we’d
better continue to the end.
课前导学
一、听录音跟读P40-41&P46单词。

二、预习并翻译下列短语：

课堂活动
Comic strip & Welcome to the unit
Step1 Presentation
1 Talk about Chinese culture with students (Show students some
pictures).
2 Elicit students to talk about the Great Wall, then tell
students that Eddie and Hobo are visiting the Great Wall. What
do they think of it?
Step 2 Practice ( Learning the Comic strip)
1 Let students go through the comic strip, ask some questions.
1) What does Hobo think of the Great Wall?
2) Does Eddie like visiting the Great Wall?
3) Do you think Eddie will continue to the end?
2 Play the tape once, choose able students to give the answers.
3 Play the tape again. Students listen and repeat.
4 Encourage students to act out the dialogue in pairs.
5 Give some explanation.
Step 3 Presentation
1 Explain the situation in Part A on page 41.
2 Encourage students to do Part A individually, then check the
answers.
3 Teach the phrases, get students to read aloud.
Step 4 Presentation
1 Explain the situation in Part B.
2 Get students to look at the Chinese sights, then write the
names of the cities where the places are.

1.了解阅读文章的语境。

一个写的是北京，另一个写的是桂林。

Beijing部分的录音，回答问题.
