如何对学生进行精读训练及阅读技巧指导，这是许多英语老师经常讨论的问题。

每次进行阅读训练时，有老师经常向学生提出一些具体的要求。

如，“阅读时不要出声，要默读。

默读是通过视觉器官直接感知文字符号，速度要比出声阅读快得多。

”“不要逐字逐词地读，而要以意群或句子为单位，逐字逐词的阅读过多地把注意力放在单词上，不仅影响阅读速度，而且往往不容易抓住文章的中心大意。

”“不要经常性地回读，要养成一气读完的习惯。

其实，在阅读答题核对答案时，要引导学生形成通过反复推敲、理解关键词句，形成进一步确认自己对阅读题目解答正确性的有效阅读答题策略。

一、引导熟悉英语阅读方法
1.略读，即迅速浏览全文，抓住文章大意和主题句，明确作者的态度和意图。

2.跳读，即快速查找某一相关信息，读时要一目十行，对不相关的内容一带而过。

3.猜测生词。

在阅读过程中，不可避免地会遇到生词。

如果一遇到生词就去查字典，或跳过去不看，都会影响对文章的理解。

这样就要猜测生词的意思。

不同的语境，单词的意思也就不一样。

所以要根据上下文线索和构词法等知识去猜测。

4.限时阅读。

规定时间内完成语篇阅读，可以通过“计时阅读”的方式，训练学生不断提高阅读的速度。

根据不同年龄层次的学生，进行不同阅读习惯的指导。

如，中年级的学生在课堂上进行“指读”的训练，训练学生指读单词、句子，看图理解词义；高年级学生学习默读，抓住关键单词，理解句意。

二、注重搭建活动平台，激发学生阅读兴趣
要开展丰富多彩的课内课外英语活动，为学生搭建展示英语能力的平台。

如，围绕课堂教学，我们开展了“英语卡片制作比赛”“英语阅读竞赛”等竞赛活动，并且做到每次活动有记载，通过对表现优秀的同学给予奖励、全校通报表扬等手段，极大地鼓舞了学生学英语的热情。

同时结合西方节日渗透文化意识。

如，在母亲节开展“英语手抄报展览”、在感恩节制作感恩卡、在圣诞节由老师们扮成圣诞老人和全校学生进行互动，极大地调动了学生学习英语的积极性。

每月评选英语之星。

先由各班评出班级英语之星，再进行全校汇总，评出校级英语之星。

这些活动的开展，激发了学生的学习兴趣，促使他们去自主学习。

三、开发英语阅读资源
1.利用教材阅读资源
我校五六年级选用的是外研社版的小学英语教材。

该套教材依据主题功能编写，一模块一主题，情景丰富、内容生动，信息量大；突出培养学生的语言运用能力和交际能力。

根据教材的编写特点，我们在高年级主要采用阅读教学模式，通过创设语境和设计阅读任务活动，使学生全心投入阅读学习活动，在学习、理解与传递必要的信息中运用语言。

学生既能理解教材语篇的意思，又能结合应有的知识
进行语言的交际运用。

据实验统计，经过六年的学习，学生可掌握教材中的近240篇的对话或小短文，120首歌谣或韵律诗，共输入19400多个单词，为英语阅读提供必要的语言储备量。

2.选择适合的阅读材料
如何指导英语阅读，文本的选择很重要。

选择一套有梯度的、符合学生实际的阅读教材不但可以利于教学的开展，且可达到事半功倍之效。

如，经过了多种比较和多次实验，我们选定了一套内容有趣、比较适合我们的教材《英语读写新视野》。

这套阅读材料内容有趣，编排合理，附有配套练习，比较适合我校学生实际。

3.组织订阅英语报刊
课外阅读是课堂教学的有益补充，也是学生获取英语知识的有效途径。

对学生来说，课内阅读的时间和阅读量都是有限的，而课外阅读的时间和阅读量的保证将和英语课堂阅读教学相互补充、相互促进，促进学生英语阅读能力的提高。

我们鼓励学生自愿订阅各种英语报刊。

4.设置英语阅读教室
为了解决学生的读书难问题，我校购买了近200册英语图书，订阅了多种英语刊物，设置了英语阅读教室，同时配备了电脑，使学生能通过电脑浏览更多的影音英语资料。

丰富的英语读物，良好的英语学习氛围弥补了学生因家庭条件限制而难以接触英语读物的难题，受到了学生们的欢迎。

5.仿写小短文
中、高年级的学生经过几年的阅读训练，已经积累了一定的语言信息容量，只要教师适当引导，学生就能写出很好的小短文。

而且，学生写的文章贴近他们自己的生活，符合其他学生的阅读水平，利于学生互相传阅学习。

这样，既锻炼了学生的阅读、写作能力，又在同学之间找到了再次阅读的材料，每学期末，把学生的小作文按主题分类整理，作为下一届学生阅读材料，就可以进一步丰富学生的阅读资源。
