对英语课程的改进建议英语作文120字Some Ideas for Making English Class Even Better
English class is one of my favorite times of the day at school.
I really enjoy learning the language and our teacher, Mrs. Johnson, makes it fun with all the games, songs, and activities we do. But I have some ideas for how we could make English class even more awesome!
First off, I think we should spend more time actually speaking and listening to English in class. A lot of our lessons are reading, writing, and learning vocabulary and grammar rules. That's important too, of course. But I feel like I don't get as much practice just using English to communicate through listening and talking.
Maybe we could have more conversations in English during class, even just simple ones about our day or what we did over the weekend. We could play more games that involve listening to instructions or descriptions in English and responding. Or we could watch short videos or listen to audio stories and then discuss them together.
It would also be really cool to have some native English speakers come to our class sometimes. They could be guest
teachers for a day, or just come read books to us or play speaking games. Getting exposure to different English accents and styles of speaking would help train our ears. And we could ask them questions about their culture and what life is like in an English-speaking country.
Another idea is to incorporate more English into other school subjects besides just the English class period. In science, math, art, or music, maybe we could learn some of the vocabulary words and concepts in English too. That way we get reinforcement of the language throughout the full school day instead of just for one period. It would make English feel more relevant and useful in everyday life.
For homework, I think it would be motivating to have opportunities to be creative and make things using English, not just writing vocabulary lists or completing workbook pages. We could write and illustrate our own short stories or comic books. Or create English videos of ourselves putting on a skit, news broadcast, or talk show interview. Hands-on projects like that would be much more engaging.
If we're reading books for English, it would be fun if we could pick some of them ourselves based on our interests, instead of just having one book assigned to the whole class. Having a
choice of high-interest reading materials at our level would make us more excited to read. We could still do some whole-class readings too, just balancing it with individual choices.
Finally, I have an idea for how English class could leave the classroom sometimes and go out into the real world. It would be awesome if we could go on English field trips, like to restaurants where we order food in English, or stores where we can practice asking about items and making。
