Robinson Crusoe Book Review
I just finished reading the book Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe and I really liked it! It's an adventure story about a man who gets shipwrecked on a deserted island and has to learn how to survive all by himself. Here's what happened:
Robinson Crusoe was a young man who loved the sea and wanted to be a sailor. His parents didn't want him to go, but he disobeyed them and set sail anyway. His ship got caught in a huge storm and was wrecked. Robinson was the only one who survived! He washed up on a deserted island all alone.
At first, Robinson was really scared being all alone. He didn't have any food, water, shelter or supplies. But he was determined to stay alive. He built himself a little house out of wood and thatch. He made tools like a shovel and axe from the wood on the island. He planted crops like corn and rice so he'd have food to eat. He even made himself a calendar by carving marks on a wooden post to keep track of the days.
Robinson lived alone on the island for 25 years! I can't imagine being stuck somewhere that long all by myself. Over the years, he grew olives, grapes and sugar cane for food. He raised goats for milk and meat. He read books he had salvaged from the wrecked ship to keep himself from getting bored.
One day, Robinson was out exploring and made a scary discovery - there were cannibals living on the island too! He hid and watched as they dragged captives onto the shore. That's when he met a man named Friday who had escaped from the cannibals. Robinson rescued him and they became best friends.
Together, Robinson and Friday built a whole little village with fields for crops and pens for animals. They even found and fixed an old shipwrecked boat so they could sail around the island. After all those years alone, Robinson finally had a friend and helper.
Things took an exciting turn when an English ship exploring the area was captured by cannibals. Robinson and Friday helped stage a rescue mission and defeated the cannibals. In the end, Robinson got to leave the island and return to England as a wealthy adventurer and land owner.
I loved how creative and resourceful Robinson was in learning to survive in the wilderness on his own. He didn't just sit
around feeling sorry for himself after the shipwreck. He figured out how to make everything he needed from materials on the island. The story shows how having determination and never giving up helped Robinson overcome every obstacle.
I also liked how Robinson found companionship with Friday. Just when it seemed he'd have to spend the rest of his life alone, he got to experience friendship and share his life with someone. Their partnership made survival much easier.
Overall, Robinson Crusoe is a classic adventure tale that really draws you in. Reading about all the exciting events and challenges Robinson faced kept me hooked until the end. I'd definitely recommend this engaging book to others who enjoy action-packed survival stories. Two thumbs up!

Robinson Crusoe is a Really Cool Book!
I just finished reading the book "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe and I have to say, it was really awesome! It's about this guy named Robinson who gets shipwrecked on a desert island all by himself. At first, I thought it would be super boring being stuck on an island alone, but Robinson was actually really good at figuring stuff out and keeping himself busy.
One of the coolest parts was when he made a raft and sailed around the island to explore. He found all kinds of cool things like goats, grapes, and even footprints from other people! I was on the edge of my seat reading about his adventures. He had to deal with things like bad weather, getting attacked by cannibals, and almost starving to death. But no matter what happened, he never gave up!
My favorite part was when Robinson finally met Friday, the native he saved from the cannibals. At first, they couldn't understand each other at all. But eventually, Robinson taught Friday to speak English and Friday taught him the island's language. They became really good friends and went on all kinds of awesome adventures together. I wish I had a friend like Friday!
Overall, I thought this was an amazing book that never got boring. Even though Robinson was stuck on an island for over 20 years, there was always something exciting happening. He was brave, resourceful, and never lost hope no matter how bad things got. The book really makes you think about what you would do if you were all alone like that. I don't know if I could have survived as long as Robinson did!
If you like adventure stories with danger, surprises, and really cool characters, then you have to read "Robinson Crusoe"! I'm
going to read it again soon because I loved it so much. Maybe next time I'll even try reading the original difficult version without all the kid-friendly edits. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars! It's an absolute must-read classic.

Robinson Crusoe is a really exciting book! It's about a man named Robinson who goes on a big adventure after his ship wrecks on a deserted island. He has to figure out how to survive all by himself with no help from anybody else.
At first, Robinson is really scared and doesn't know what to do. But he's smart and works hard to build a shelter, grow food, and make tools and clothes from the supplies he finds on the wrecked ship. He has to protect himself from wild animals and bad weather too.
Even though it's lonely being the only person on the island, Robinson learns to enjoy his solitude and freedom. He explores the whole island and keeps himself busy with projects. After many years, he's surprised when he meets another person - a man named Friday who becomes his friend and companion.
I admire how brave and resourceful Robinson is. He never gives up hope and uses his wits to overcome every obstacle. If I
was stranded on a deserted island, I'm not sure I could survive as well as he did! The book shows that with determination and hard work, you can get through even the toughest situations in life.
Overall, I really liked Robinson Crusoe. It's an exciting tale of adventure and survival against the odds. The vivid descriptions made me feel like I was right there on the island alongside Robinson experiencing all his challenges and triumphs. I'd definitely recommend this classic book to others!

Robinson Crusoe: A Thrilling Tale of Survival
I just finished reading the classic adventure book Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe, and I have to say, it was an incredible story! It's all about a man named Robinson Crusoe who gets shipwrecked on a deserted island and has to learn how to survive all by himself. At first, I thought it might be kind of boring, just reading about one guy stuck on an island for years. But it turned out to be a super exciting book that kept me on the edge of my seat!
The story begins with Robinson setting sail from England as a young man, even though his parents didn't want him to go to sea. He ignored their advice and went on lots of voyages over
many years. On one journey across the Atlantic Ocean, a huge storm struck their ship. The winds and waves were so powerful that the ship was destroyed. Robinson ended up being the only survivor, washed up on a remote island all alone.
When Robinson first realized he was the sole person on the entire island, he must have felt so scared and lonely. I don't know what I would do if I was stuck somewhere with no other people! At first, he just focused on finding food, water, and shelter. He used materials from the wrecked ship like tools, guns, and provisions to help him survive. Little by little, he made himself a cozy home inside a cave and learned how to grow crops and raise goats for food.
As the years went by, Robinson got better and better at living off the land. He became a master at making everything he needed from the resources on the island. He made clothes from animal skins, baskets and pots from clay, and even baked himself bread! It's amazing what he could do just using his hands and his creativity. I don't think I could last a week out in the wilderness by myself, but Robinson managed to thrive on that island for over 20 years!
One of the most exciting parts was when Robinson was exploring the island one day and made a shocking discovery - a
human footprint in the sand! At first he was thrilled, thinking maybe he had found another survivor to keep him company. But then he got scared, wondering if it was actually the footprint of a vicious cannibal or wild savage. This mystery about the footprint and whether Robinson was truly alone or not kept me totally gripped.
It turned out there were indeed other people on the island - a group of cannibals who would occasionally come ashore after raiding nearby islands. Robinson hid and spied on them, witnessing some truly frightening scenes. When the cannibals dragged some prisoners ashore to eat them, that's when Robinson decided he had to take action. He managed to rescue one of the prisoners, a man named Friday who becomes his loyal friend and companion.
With Friday's help, Robinson was finally able to get off the deserted island after over two decades. They constructed a huge boat and sailed back across the ocean to England. After so many years of being marooned, you can imagine how over-joyed Robinson must have felt to be returning home at last. His tale of perseverance and survival against all odds was simply incredible.
What I loved most about Robinson Crusoe was how creative and resourceful the main character was. No matter what
challenge he faced on that island, he figured out an ingenious way to overcome it using just his hands and his mind. It really made me think about what I would do if I ever got stuck in a difficult survival situation like that. Could I make a shelter out of sticks and mud? Could I weave baskets out of palm trees to carry water? It's hard to say, but Robinson definitely inspired me to try to be more self-sufficient and not take all my modern comforts for granted.
The book also reminded me that having hope and staying positive is super important, even when things seem hopeless. Robinson could have just given up when that ship went down, accepting his fate as a goner on that deserted shore. But instead, he chose to never lose hope that he might one day be rescued or find a way to escape the island himself. His positive attitude and determination are what allowed him to go on living and improving his conditions year after year.
Overall, I absolutely loved the adventure of Robinson Crusoe and would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys
action-packed stories of survival against the odds. Even though it was written a long time ago, the lessons about self-reliance, optimism, and perseverance still ring true today. This thrilling
classic tale is definitely a must-read for any brave young explorers out there!

Robinson Crusoe is a Really Cool Book!
Hi there! Today I want to tell you all about the book Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe. It's a classic adventure story that I just finished reading and I liked it a whole lot.
The book starts off with Robinson Crusoe, who is a young man from England. Even though his parents don't want him to, he goes off to sea to have adventures and make his fortune. This doesn't go so well at first - his first two ship voyages end up getting shipwrecked! Can you imagine being stranded at sea like that? So scary!
On his third voyage, Robinson's ship gets caught in a terrible storm off the coast of South America. The storm is so bad that waves as big as houses crash over the deck and the ship starts breaking apart. Everyone has to get into a small boat to try to make it to land. But the violent waves flip their little boat over and Robinson is the only one who makes it to a small island alive.
At first, Robinson is really sad to be all alone on this deserted island with no other people. He doesn't have any food, water, shelter or supplies. But he gets to work gathering things from the shipwreck like tools, guns, powder, shot, clothes and other useful items before the ship breaks apart completely. Using his skills and smarts, he figures out how to build himself a house, get food and water, make clothes, and protect himself.
Living alone on the island is really hard work at first. Robinson has to do everything himself with no one to help him. But he's determined and figures out how to tame goats, grow crops, make pottery, and build amazing things likes a wooden boat! It's incredible what he's able to do despite being the only human around. He even gets a parrot as a pet to keep him company.
After many years alone on the island, Robinson is gathering firewood one day when he sees a strange sight on the beach - a human footprint! At first he's excited to not be alone anymore. But then he realizes the footprint could belong to savages or cannibals, which terrifies him. Sure enough, he soon discovers there are cannibals who come to the island periodically. Robinson watches in horror as they kill and eat some prisoners.
Now Robinson has to be on constant guard and figure out a way to escape the island before he gets captured and eaten by the cannibals too. I don't want to give away what happens, but just know that lots of crazy, exciting, and scary stuff goes down from that point on! There are prisoner escapes, mutinies, and all sorts of adventures.
Overall, I loved reading Robinson Crusoe. It has action, suspense, and really makes you wonder how you would survive alone on a deserted island for over 20 years. Could you do everything Robinson did and stay sane all by yourself? What would you eat? How would you make a shelter and clothes? So many challenges to think about!
Daniel Defoe's description of the island and Robinson's daily life is so vivid and realistic. It felt like I was there watching Robinson climb rocks, wrestle wild goats, and explore caves. The book isn't too long but so much happens that I never got bored.
I'd highly recommend this book to anyone who likes classic adventure tales, especially ones set at sea or on desert islands. Just be warned - parts of it can be pretty violent with the cannibals and bloody killings. But if you can handle that, then you'll likely find Robinson Crusoe to be a really gripping, imaginative book that sticks with you. I know I'll never forget the
resilience and resourcefulness of the shipwrecked Robinson Crusoe!

My Thoughts on Robinson Crusoe
I just finished reading the book "Robinson Crusoe" by Daniel Defoe and I have to say, it was quite an adventure! The story follows a man named Robinson Crusoe who gets shipwrecked on a deserted island. At first, I felt really bad for him being all alone with no one to help him. But Crusoe was super smart and resourceful.
He built himself a nice little house and grew crops for food. He even made himself a new outfit from materials on the island! Crusoe was like a real-life superhero figuring out how to survive. My favorite part was when he encountered the funny looking footprint in the sand. I was on the edge of my seat wondering if it belonged to a monster or an alien! It turned out to be a human, which was almost as scary.
Crusoe ended up rescuing a prisoner named Friday from a group of cannibals. At that point, I was relieved he finally had a friend to keep him company. Friday helped Crusoe build a boat so they could try to escape the island. But crazy storm winds
blew them totally off course! They ended up having to come back to the island. I couldn't believe their bad luck. I probably would have given up at that point.
In the end, an English ship spotted Crusoe and Friday's campfire and rescued them after 28 long years on the island. Can you imagine being stuck on an island for almost 30 years?? I don't think I could do it. Crusoe went through so many ups and downs during his time being shipwrecked. There was excitement, danger, sadness, and finally joy when he was reunited with civilization. His story shows that with determination and smarts, you can overcome just about any obstacle.
I really enjoyed reading about all of Crusoe's adventures and creative problem-solving. My biggest takeaway is that you should never give up, no matter how tough things get. Crusoe didn't just survive, he thrived and made the best of a bad situation. He's definitely one of the bravest and most resourceful characters I've ever read about. I'd love to have even half of his courage and skills! This book was an epic tale that I'll never forget.。
