My Awesome Weekend Plan
Hey there! It's me, Emily, your friendly neighborhood 7th grader. I'm so excited to share my awesome weekend plan with you guys. Get ready for two days of pure awesomeness!
On Saturday morning, I'm going to sleep in until at least 10 a.m. because, let's be real, who doesn't love sleeping in on weekends? After that, I'll have a big, delicious breakfast with my favorite pancakes and syrup. Yum!
Once I'm all fueled up, it's time for some serious fun. My best friend, Lily, and I are planning to go to the new trampoline park that just opened up in our town. We've been dying to check it out ever since we saw the commercials on TV. Jumping around like crazy and trying out all the cool tricks sounds like the perfect way to spend our morning. First up, on Saturday morning, I'm planning to sleep in until at least 10am. Gotta catch up on all that missed beauty sleep from the crazy school week, am I right? Once I've had my fill of snoozing, I'll mosey on downstairs and fix myself a humungous breakfast. We're talking stacks on stacks of pancakes, swimming in pools of syrup. My basement is also home to my most prized possession - the snack stash. Unlimited chips, cookies, candy and soda to keep our engines running in peak condition.
When evening rolls around, it's movie night! We'll hunker down with buckets of popcorn and soda for a cringe-worthy laughfest watching those hilariously bad superhero movies from the 90s. You know the ones I'm talking about - horrible costumes, D-list actors, and dialogue so cheesy you could pound it into
nacho chips. But that's what makes them enduringly awesome in a so-bad-it's-good kind of way. Expect plenty of mocking commentary from me and the guys!
On Sunday, I'm gonna take it easy and sleep in again because, well, I'm a growing boy who needs his rest. But in the afternoon, my family is taking me to the indoor water park for some splishy splashy fun! I'll be the first one cannonballing into the wave pool, then spending hours slaloming down those gnarly water slides. The bigger, twistier and more terrifying, the better! We'll go kitchen sink style and get pies with all the toppings - pepperoni, sausage, peppers, pineapple, you name it. I have a talent for putting away slice after slice after slice. It's one of my most prized and well-honed skills.
