In 1964，Murray Gell-Mann (1929.9.15－2019.5.24) and George Zweig (1937.5.30－) independently proposed quark model.

In 2015, LHCb found two kinds of pentaquark, Pc(4450)⁺ and Pc(4380)⁺.

In June 2019, LHCb publish a new result that they found another new pentaquark Pc(4312)+ , The Pc(4450) pentaquark structure formerly reported by LHCb is confirmed and observed to consist of two narrow overlapping peaks, Pc(4440) and Pc(4457).

The original paper of quark model by Gell-Mann
Quantum Chromodynamics(QCD)
After quark model was proposed, one had found that the particles consisting of quarks do not satisfy Pauli exclusion principle. To solve this problem, another free degree of quark was assumed and it was named after “color”, and the correspondent quantum number was introduced. After that, quantum chromodynamics is developed, and then the so called sum rule is invented by Shifman, Vainshtein and Zakharov to compute the inner structure of hadrons.
