急救措施英语对话
Emergency Situation: Conversation on First Aid Measures
Characters:
Sarah: a person who is witnessing an accident
John: a person involved in the accident
Doctor: a medical professional at the scene
Scene: A busy street in a city. Sarah witnesses an accident where John falls and hurts himself badly. Sarah rushes to help and calls for a doctor.
[Sarah is walking on the street when she notices John fall and hurt himself badly]
Sarah: Oh my God! Are you alright? Can you hear me?
John: (groans in pain) No, I think I twisted my ankle. It hurts a lot.
[Sarah takes out her phone and dials 911]
John: I don't think I can walk. It's too painful.
[Sarah spots a nearby bench and helps John to sit on it]
Sarah: Here, let's get you seated. Is there anything else that hurts, apart from your ankle?
John: I think I may have hurt my wrist too. It's getting swollen.
Sarah: Okay, try to keep your wrist elevated. Let me look
for something to wrap around your ankle to provide some support and reduce the swelling.
[Sarah searches her bag and finds a scarf to use as a makeshift bandage]
Sarah: I found a scarf. I'll wrap it around your ankle gently. It will provide some support until help arrives.
[As Sarah is wrapping the scarf around John's ankle, a doctor arrives at the scene]
Doctor: Excuse me, what seems to be the problem here?
Sarah: Thank goodness you're here, doctor. This gentleman fell and injured his ankle. He also mentioned pain in his wrist, which seems to be swollen now.
Doctor: Alright, let me take a look. Could you please remove the scarf from his ankle?
[Sarah carefully removes the scarf from John's ankle]
Doctor: Thank you. From the appearance and the pain you're experiencing, it seems like a sprained ankle. Also, your wrist
is swollen, indicating a possible sprain or fracture.
John: Is it serious, doctor?
[Sarah finds a nearby chair for the doctor to sit on while performing first aid]
Sarah: Please, doctor, go ahead.
[The doctor begins splinting John's ankle and wrist]
John: Thank you, doctor. The pain is already starting to reduce with the splint on.
Doctor: That's good to hear. Remember, don't put weight on your ankle and try to keep your wrist elevated until we reach the hospital. The ambulance should be here soon, and they will take you for a full examination and treatment.
Sarah: Thank you so much for your help, doctor. I'm relieved knowing John is in capable hands.
[The ambulance arrives at the scene]
Paramedic: We're here to transport the patient. What seems to be the issue?
Sarah: He fell and injured his ankle and wrist. The doctor gave first aid and applied temporary splints.
Paramedic: Thank you for providing first aid. We'll take him to the hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
[The paramedics carefully transfer John onto a stretcher and load him into the ambulance]
John: Thank you, Sarah, for your quick help. And thank you, doctor, for your first aid assistance.
Sarah: No problem, John. I'm just glad I could help in this situation. Take care and get well soon!
[The ambulance drives off while Sarah watches them depart] Sarah: (to herself) I hope John recovers soon. I'm glad I could be there for him in this emergency situation.。
