Lesson 3 Making Breakfast
Teaching Aims:
1. To enable students to understand and use English words and sentences about making breakfast;
2. To learn about different breakfast food and express personal preference;
3. To develop students’ speaking, listening, reading and writing abilities through pair work, group work and individual work.
Teaching Key Points:
1. To learn the names of different breakfast food, such as oatmeal, toast, scrambled eggs, etc.;
2. To learn how to express personal preference and use simple sentences to make requests, such as “I like...”
and “Can I have...?”
Teaching Difficult Points:
1. To help students understand complex sentence structure and learn how to use sentences to express their preferences;
2. To help students learn new words and use them in their daily lives.
Teaching Methods:
1. Task-based language teaching method;
2. Pair work, group work, and individual work;

Teaching Procedures:
Step 1: Warm-up and Introduction
(5 minutes)
