see a movie= watch a movie 看电影 (movie相当于film) go to the movies = go to the cinema 去电影院看电影 downtown 市中心, 此处downtown是副词词性,不与介词连用 • I work downtown,but I live in the suburbs.
句的谓语动词必须是和主句谓语动作同时发生

He walks past the grocery store and finds a park. There are lots of trees in the park. “This must be it,” Brain says to himself. But it’s the wrong park. It doesn’t have a cherry tree. “Oh no! This is not funny, Danny! I’m lost!” Then Brain sees a lady. She is walking down the street. “Excuse me,” he says. “Can you tell me the way to the movie theatre?” ”

Good. Now, turn left. Walk through the park. You will see many trees. Turn left after the cherry tree. The movie theatre will be straight ahead. P.S. Always walk on the sidewalk. It is safe there.
