step①Revision(warming-up)
Try to finish tasks on the task paper with different forms of adjectives and adverbs to review different usages of them.
step②Before Writing
Teacher will play a video of Cili to lead into the main topic of this class.
Task A: Beginning
(To introduce generally with key words to make up sentences).
Location: in the east of
Size: small country
Weather: summer/hot/winter/cold
People: friendly…
e.g. Cili is located in the east of Zhangjiajie. It is a small country. It is hot in summer and cold in winter. People there are friendly. Let me introduce it to you.
Task B: Main Body(To introduce hometown from five aspects).
a, Housing:Teacher will cite some key words from four aspects and use them to make up main sentences.
Size: big/bigger/s maller…
Service: good/better/bad/worse…
People: friendly/more friendly…
Price: expensive/more expensive…
Cili Hotel is bigger than Furong Hotel. It has better service and people there are more friendly. But Cili Hotel is more expensive than any other hotel.
b, Eating
Teacher will describe from four aspects and use key words to make up main sentences.
Size: as big as/not so big as…
Food: delicious/the most delicious…
Service: good/best…
Price: cheap/the cheapest…
You can find many restaurants here. For example, Wanjiadenghuo is as big as Pengchu, but it is one of the cheapest here. You can also try our local food here such as rice noodles, smoked pork and sausages.

Task B: one possible version
I am from cili, it is a small countr y located in the east of Zhangjiajie in Hunan province. I’d be glad to introduce it to you.
Firstly, here are lots of hotels you can stay. For example, Tianchen Holiday Hotel, it is cheap but not clean enough; Cili Hotel is the biggest and cleanest,it has the best service. Secondly, I think you should enjoy our food here. You can find quite a lot of restaurants.For example,Pengchu has better food than any other restaurant here. For breakfast, I advise you to try our local rice noodles, it is the most delicious; Thirdly,if you want to buy something, you can choose Furong Supermarket, it is the biggest of all although is a little expensive; Finally,if you want to relax, you can go to Pipa Park during the day and Wanfu Hot Spring in the evening. Pipa is not so far as Wanfu.
In a word,Cili is a wonderful place for traveling.I love my hometown so much and I warmly welcome you here.
