The chart below shows the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women of different employment status .
Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below .
该柱状图显示的是1998-1999年处于不同状态的男性和女性每周所享有的闲暇时光。

这里所指的不同工作状态细分为全职、兼职、失业、退休和家庭主妇五大类。

The bar chart indicates the amount of leisure time per week that males and females of various employment statuses enjoyed over a one year period of time from 1998 to 1999. The employment statuses referred to here are grouped into five categories which are : employed full - time , part - time , unemployed , retired and housewives .
如图所示，在全职、失业和退休状态下，男性的休闲时间要比女性多，而在另外两个类别，即：兼职和作为纯家庭主妇的状态下，女性与男性毫无可比性，呈一支独秀状况。

As is indicated in the chart , under the backgrounds of being employed full - time , unemployed and retired , males had more
leisure time to enjoy than females did . But with the other two statuses , namely , being employed part - time and being pure housewives , males had nothing to compare with females .
首先，我们看到失业与退休的男性与女性享受到的休闲时间最多。

处于失业状态的两性群体分别有每周85小时和70小时的空余时光;而退休群体中，男性有84小时闲暇时间，女性有69小时。

可以说在这两种状态下，男性与女性的闲暇时光相差甚微。
